I stopped by to grab a coffee and have a short business meeting. The service was a little slow. I stood at the counter for a good little bit before someone appeared to take my order. I ordered a café latte and was specifying that I would like nonfat milk and was informed that they did not have it My only choices were whole milk or almond milk. Come on folks!!!! In this day and age can you not have a milk offering that is not whole milk... Skim milk or 2% would be a wonderful addition to your menu. I saw a sign while gliding my way up I-35 back home from Austin for Muscovy Coffee Roasters and had to stop, because I'm a coffee snob. I walked into several people enjoying coffee and was greeted by a nice guy who offered a brisket and cheese kolache! Jesus. Take. Me. Now. I went through the drive through and ordered the matcha latte with honey as the sweetener. I was surprised by the uncharted for honey, most places allow me to get honey for the sweetener of choice. The matcha wasn't the best quality and they did add a ton of honey I guess for the price. I think the store looks nice and gives a good vibe overall. The service was average. Cute small town coffee shop! Loved the clean, modern aesthetic and indoor/outdoor seating options. Didn't get a chance to try the food but got their hot mocha (pictured) and iced mocha (not pictured). The chocolate syrup is made in house and very unique - it's got a bakers chocolate finish to it and is more on the bitter side. The chocolate tasted better in the hot drink than the iced one. Only 3 stars due to the hot coffee being lukewarm and the espresso tasting slightly burnt/weak. Also the pricing is more expensive than Starbucks - it was $20 for two drinks. Expectations weren't high on the road to Dallas. This place was an absolute slam dunk. Coffee was dialed. But the sausage sandwich was straight fire. Biscuit tasted like something someone's grandma that knew how to make fluffy delicious biscuits would make. Turkey kolache also deserved a mention but I don't know about their grandma. read more

Stopped here on the way to Dallas after a Yelp search. My daughter got a iced Matcha and I got the Campfire Iced Latte with the Muscovy cream. The coffee is bold and smooth with the most pleasant aftertaste. The Muscovy Cream is a vanilla whipped cream and you can tell it's homemade. The location was super clean! Arrived around 11 AM on Sunday with much anticipation for a new joint. We were referred here because Miller's Smokehouse has a partnership with them. There are items on their menu that are made by Miller's locally in Belton. We wanted to try the kolaches but they were out. So we ordered hand pies instead and one sausage cheese biscuit. Hand pies were good but crust was soggy instead of being crisp like an empanada. Sausage cheese biscuit was excellent and this was last one they had. Food is pricy but good. We were disappointed with the 3 cold brews we ordered. Tasted old and bitter. Needed more cream and sugar which we had requested. Super dark like it wasn't made properly. Since coffee is their specialty it was a real let down unfortunately. Knocking off 2 stars because of the disappointment but still leaving 3 because of the decent food and great service. If we happen to pass through again we plan on trying a different beverage and maybe it will change my mind and this review. read more
