They currently carry Purest, a brand that's based in ON, and every Wednesday is gluten-free day; they have pizza and sandwiches that are really yummy. And, today I even scored a GF brownie - delicious. Prices definitely reflect the quality, which I won't complain about - it just makes it a more occasional stop for me.

CSA drop-offs also abound here and it sort of turns into a cool little hub of activity in the summer. I want the cheeses with fun additions like truffles and pepper and meat and I also want the meat that hasn't been added to the cheese, because meat is good on its own too. All that said, the last time I came in I felt like I was bothering the staff there. I got curt, annoyed answers when I was curious about a cheese I wasn't familiar with, and we ended up leaving with about 25% of the amount of cheese I wanted to buy just because it's not fun to put together a cheese plate with people who aren't trying to help you. We had to squeeze around them since they weren't moving. Once at the cheese counter the smallish selection of cheeses were unmarked so we needed to quiz the burly guy manning the counter. He was gruff and almost rude in his attitude. Almost unhelpful. It is lucky we bought anything at all. If you wanted your purchase wrapped in cheese paper vs. plastic they charged another $1.75. This amazing little Cheese Factory located in Madoc, Ontario is just a short drive from Campbellford, Marmara and Warkworth but if you're a cheese lover like me, it's not too far from anywhere. I drove all the way from Brampton, actually I was close by staying in Marmora (see my other review) but still this place was on my list of things to see. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, their selection is amazing and the cheese curds??? Ohhh lets just say they didn't make it back home to Brampton.
