That was a big let down after years of seeing this in passing. It feels too much like a 90s coffee shop from Friends / a poorly converted modern bank lobby with the lighting, and the floor layout lacks flow if you're sitting at the bar. It would be an improvement to see historic qualities restored to the interior, rather than bland sheet rocking, no crown molding, etc. Aside from this, we found the music to be a very distracting and random selection of early 2000s dance, pop, EDM, emo, and rock, mixed with the occasional alt rock hit that was (finally) tolerable enough to fade into the background. The room is vacuous because of the high ceilings and hard building materials, so turning the volume down a little and choosing something consistent in tone (perhaps neo soul or just sticking to alt rock) would be beneficial for the overall atmosphere. Bottom line: would return again for the food, but the atmosphere wasn't what we expected and could be improved for a cozier, vintage styled atmosphere (but that's mostly a matter of preference). Friendly service, affordable prices, and good eats go a long way.

Elizabeth was so accommodating through the entire booking and planning processes as well as the day/night of our wedding. The bridal and groom suites are just as charming as the rows of vineyards, the beautifully restored bank barn, and outdoor patio areas. Our guests were complimentary of the venue the entire evening. We had food trucks for our cocktail hour and dinner and Elizabeth worked with us to ensure the flow from indoor to outdoor and vice versa was easy for our guests. I could not recommend Domaine Pterion enough as a wedding venue. But, if planning a wedding or event isn't in your near future, I highly recommend visiting during tastings on weekends for some good wine, some tasty bites, and a beautiful environment!

We visited Wind Hill Farms for our Mothers Day re-do a week after Mothers Day. This was our first…read morevisit and we can't wait to go back! What a beautiful place! The vineyard was absolutely gorgeous, the barn is re done so tastefully and skillfully and decorated with a designers flare! The grounds are beautifully kept and the animals are well cared for and friendly. The whole atmosphere made us feel like we were at a friends home for a relaxing weekend. There were little touches everywhere. Cute outdoor sets of furniture, a cozy couch, a fun trailer bed that we were told doubles as a stage sometimes for musicians. There was a cool climbing tree with kids in the branches. There were friendly goats that came up to you just for pets, and chickens and even cows in the back field. We met the owners who were so kind and welcoming. Our bartender was Shirley and she was such a doll and told us all about the place and the wines and meads they make. We got a tasting and all shared it to decide what to get for ourselves. The wine and mead that we tried was all VERY GOOD! We brought home a few bottles of the mead to make summertime cocktails with. The lavender lemon was superb! We got a bottle of white wine to share and enjoyed it very much. They offer food as well and although we did not try any, everything we saw others eating looked amazing. You can bring your own food as well. Definitely a great spot for all the young families we saw there enjoying a relaxing day while the kids had some wholesome farm fun.
