Odobo means the importance of active involvement and participation in one's neighborhood to foster a sense of community. This bookstore does just that. They offer different community events like story time for children, adult yoga, karaoke night and even a self defense class. Today I simply bought some stickers and perused the books. I have my eye on a book for next time. I'll be attending a class next weekend. The space feels welcoming and safe. Looking forward to more visits.

The store is spacious and well organized and I liked that there was a best seller list table right when you walk it. Decent selection of books prominently displayed; I enjoyed looking at all the different genres. They have greeting cards, gift items, Fairfield U clothing and paraphernalia. Slightly disorganized, with books, DVDs, and CDs here and there, I absolutely loved it. And what amazing prices!!!! They had a little bit of everything, including both paperback and hardback. Many of the hardbacks were only $1!!!! Considering you're going to pay $20-$30 for a new one, that's a heck of a steal. I managed to get 7 books for $16. I would have bought more but had to buy a bag just to get all of these home as it was. Support local!
