I needed to have my car towed to the dealership from a parking lot at an apartment complex. It was a difficult job without a doubt. There were other car to contend with and in a very small parking lot making the situation a very difficult job given the tight angle and small space in which the tow driver, Sean, had to contend. I honestly thought it couldn't be done. Sean was professional and courteous and most importantly cautious and careful that he wouldn't cause any damage not only to my vehicle, the tow truck but also the property, curbs and other cars at the apartment complex. Then again at the dealership he had a difficult task ahead as it was impossible to drop my car in a parking space as requested by the dealership. Ever the professional, Sean kept his cool and managed to maneuver the tow truck and my car in such a way that he was able to drop my car off for repair. I wanted him to know just how impressed I was/am with his skills and told him, I honestly thought this was an impossible job to which he admitted that it put his driving skills to the test. I am so thankful for his professionalism and care in being so very careful with my precious baby... my car. Absolutely terrible service. We requested a tow through our insurance app at 5:20 PM and were told the driver would arrive between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Before 8:00 PM, we called to check the status and were told they were on their way. Later, we were told again that they would arrive within 20 minutes. We waited almost 5 hours, and no one ever showed up. The communication was unprofessional and frustrating. Every time we contacted them, the responses seemed to come from different phone numbers, making it difficult to know who we were speaking with. To make matters worse, one of their representatives hung up on us. Even though the service was never provided, we were charged more than $200. When we requested a refund, they refused to take responsibility and told us to contact our insurance company for reimbursement. This company wasted our entire evening, provided no service, charged us anyway, and showed no accountability. I waited over 2.5 hours for roadside assistance with no meaningful updates and no response to my requests for an updated ETA, despite being given an estimate that was already 30 minutes past due. After getting no response, I ended up changing the tire myself--with no prior experience. As I was finishing, I received a call asking if I still needed assistance. When I explained I had already handled it, the representative hung up mid-sentence. Being left waiting for hours is frustrating enough, but being treated this way after resolving the issue on my own is incredibly unprofessional. He came into my garage and knocked on my garage door instead of coming to my front door to announce his presence. Then when I questioned him about it, he was rude and sarcastic with me. Well apparently the driver is in such a hurry he runs the red light at 92 and Old Dixie highway to make a u-turn to turn into the circle k and almost caused the big accident you call the company phone number they say oh this is not Black sheep towing right now so obviously the drivers can drive however they want have also been known to take people's car and charge them double the price that's so sad to see that they almost took someone's life this morning and there's no one in the office to answer the phone just because they want to run a red light to get to the circle k what could be so important God bless y'all read more

I have tried to use them on 2 separate occasions a year apart, and they did not show up. They also would not answer our calls back.

I have tried to use Black Sheep Towing twice now. The first time I waited over 3 hours for a tow truck to tow my Mercedes CKL that lost its transmission. After many calls. They finally sent someone. Then when I tried to have my the car towed from the shop to my home. The Towing service I use. Again got Black Sheep Towing. After a hour of waiting. The Towing service call them and was told they would have someone out in 25 minutes. And me trying to call with only going to voicemail and no call back. Black Sheep Towing is unreliable on dependable and a waste of your time. My advice is that if your towing service recommends Black Sheep Towing. Tell them that you don't want them that you would rather have another towing service I highly recommend Alfredo's Towing in Plant City. They are reliable and dependable and they're in a reasonable time the longest I've waited was 30 minutes for them to come tow my vehicles. read more

I would not recommend using this company under any circumstance. My wife's car shut off on her at her doctor's appointment and this company was the original sent by her insurance. We made the request around 10:30am. Thankfully I was able to get off work early and have my pregnant wife wait in the car with me, otherwise she would have been stranded in the doctor's office parking lot for close to 4 hours. During our wait Black Sheep increased the ETA several times. I understand being busy, but both my wife and the insurance company tried to contact them and both went to voice mail. The lack of communication and professionalism can not be understated. Thankfully Dizzy Dave's towing saved the day and got there at 4pm. We managed to get her vehicle to the dealership. I called them and no one showed up to release the vehicle more than an hour after, the car was in the lot no more than 35 minutes from the time the call was placed . and i had to pay $707 to get the vehicle out. No credit card was allowed for payment , they only took cash app/ zelle, which I believe is against the law since May 2024, they did not even ask for proof of vehicle ownership and there is a scratch and grease all over the vehicle. They are illegally charging a lien release fee of 250.00. fyi that fee can not be charged until your vehicle has been in there lot for 3 days and certified mail sent. they also have to give you an itemized bill. i contacted the sheriff dept. and Detective Dragon at the sheriffs office decided it was to broad and they didn't want to charge the driver. I have made a BBB complaint which came back to me saying they are no longer in business, which is also a lie. they are contracted to tow for the HOA in my neighborhood. type there name in Facebook and do your research. I requested a tow at 0630am and was told it would be 90-120 mins. At 0750am, after being told that their ETA was 0804am, I was called by Jose Borges who stated that he has a flat bed truck and would not be able to assist me unless he checked with his dispatch, due to their policy of not going inside parking garages. When I requested the tow, I put that I was in a parking garage and that there was low clearance. I waited for Jose to call me back and he never did. When I attempted to call him back, every phone call stated that my call could not be completed as dialed, so I knew that he had blocked me at that point. I then called the towing company at 0830, after two hours of waiting, and Caitlyn stated that all of the requests are automatically accepted, even if they don't have the capabilities of doing what you've requested. If I had no called, I wouldn't have known that they weren't coming to help me. Don't waste your time with this company. Just get AAA and make sure they don't refer out to these guys. read more

Only reason I'm giving one star is because I have to. I would take detailed photos of your rims before letting them hook up your vehicle, especially if they are oversized. They scratched my rims enough that I'll have to get them replaced soon. read more
