Despite having to wait over two hours for a driver to assist me with replacing a flat, I consider myself fortunate that VW Roadside Assistance selected Black Sheep Towing to help. The tow driver, Alex Murphy, was the most courteous and considerate roadside assistance driver I have ever met, and I've met many. He got the job done expeditiously in difficult circumstances (traffic was whizzing by very closely) and without a complaint. So yes, Alex Murphy is my hero of the road, a Robocop for stranded drivers. Black Sheep Towing is fortunate to have Alex in their employ, and I feel fortunate to have met him. read more

After towing my car in April I contacted Black Sheep Towing to let them know that they had taken the cover to my BMW tow part or what ever it is and I wanted it back. They couldn't find it. Long story short it is now August and I'm still arguing with the owner on wether or not he's going to replace it or not because he doesn't deal with his customers directly. So when I spoke to his secretary I let her know if he didn't fix my shit I would just file a claim through my insurance. I have yet to hear from the owner of this shitty business with poor customer service mind you. read more

the tow truck drivers were 5 star for timely service and so polite. the service after that was awful. instead of taking it to the Cadillac dealership and leaving the keys in the Dropbox they took it to their storage lot. then they charged us for towing and STORAGE . the car is a Cadillac with Onstar . they never should have stored it and then charged for it. I had occasion to use this company as a vendor for my insurance company, when I got locked out of my car. I opened the claim and the insurance company sent me a link for the company, which showed me an estimated time of arrival of 40 minutes. After that time was up, I called the company, and was told the driver was on his way to me and should be there in 10 minutes. Then the driver called me directly and told me he had to pick up another car, and would be there in 25 minutes. Now my wait is over 1.5 hours and I'm on the side of the road with my dog. When I called my insurance agent and complained they wouldn't take my agents call. The driver was very nice and courteous, but the dispatch operator was deceitful and happy to leave me on the side of the road in the heat, to make some extra $$$ picking up a tow that wasn't going anywhere. I will NOT use this company again. read more

This company is a joke. We were visiting friends and they towed our expedition in my brother in laws house community because we were parked in the street. We could see on the ring camera that they roll thru with in minutes of 12am looking for cars to tow to for some quick cash. This company is trash. I can see why they have horrible reviews. I would steer clear of them and call a reputable company for any towing needs. In times when everyone is trying to make due these people are out looking to prey on hardworking people. $234.00 for a 6 mile tow. No need for an explanation or reply from the owner. I will NEVER use Black Sheep Towing for roadside assistance. Their dispatcher gave me an ETA of 30-40 minutes for a jumpstart. 2 hrs later, no Black Sheep Towing. I called the dispatcher 6 times to get an ETA. I was told, "The driver is on his way," "The driver is down the road," "The driver is on Galloway Road." Newsflash, genius! It doesn't take 2 hrs to finish a job and get to my location. Apparently, the dispatcher doesn't know the difference between the truth and a lie and he is just as unprofessional, incompetent, and inconsiderate as the drivers. Who hired you people? How is this place still operating? After waiting in 35 degree weather for 2 hrs, I finally called my insurance company and requested to cancel Black Sheep Towing and asked them to send a different company. All I wanted was a jumpstart because my car battery died! But they were too lazy to come. I am going to tell my family and friends to avoid this company as they are not reputable and they are completely unreliable. If I could give them -5 stars, I would. To the owner: I shouldn't have to call your dispatcher 6 times for an ETA. That's problematic! Your dispatcher and driver should have initiated contact with me, the customer, to provide updates. Just witness this guys weave in and out of traffic, going way over the speed limit , if this is any indication of how they work , would not recommend. Driver friendly, but I was told I'd owe $10 for 2 gallons of fuel, when the driver didn't know to insert a special nozzle so the gas spilled all over my car and the ground. In addition, the container he used spewed gas out due to a leak on the nozzle, so gas was going everywhere. I told him there was not $10 of gas in my car and I wanted to speak to his boss. He called in and was told gas is $6 a gallon. Driver felt bad and was very apologetic, but I'll never let my roadside assistance set me up with them again. read more

I gave this company a 1 because there is no zero. My roadside assistance uses them (for now). The driver showed up to tow my car to the dealership. He was surly at best. He seemed to hate his job. He was instructed to enter the dealership and advise them what the car was there for. He did not do so. He also kept the keys. The office manager refused to help claiming I was not speaking to her as a "professional." Apparently, no one at this establishment understands their role as customer service providers. My roadside assistance company was unable to reach them and has filed a complaint. They also recommended I file a police report which I intend to do. A problem so easy to solve has been turned into a crisis by office manager Ms. Lawrence. Run from this company. Use Joyce or Shirah's instead - both are wonderful and reputable. I will pay next time before using this "company." The name "Black Sheep" says it all! Police report has been filed. I am assured my keys will be returned tomorrow. What a waste of time for our first responders. Shame on Black Sheep!!! read more

Been waiting on a tow for an hour and 45 mins as of right now, tow was initiated by my roadside assistance and I was told it would be here in 60 mins or less. Now it is going on 5pm and my shop will be closed by the time I get there, even though I called around 3 to have all of this taken care of. I've been sitting outside of a Dunkin' Donuts for almost 2 hours and I'm just pissed at this point. When I tried to call, they answered then hung up 3 times. And then when I finally called my insurance back they put me on hold and called the tow company again- only to be informed that the tow truck had to tow a car from an accident that happened on the tow trucks way here. SO.....??? I will make sure myself and my loved ones never use this company again. Not only is my entire afternoon now spent sitting at this Dunkin' Donuts with a broken down car but I couldn't even have the pleasure of having things taken care of when they were told they would be. Maybe next time y'all should keep your PAYING CUSTOMERS informed of what is going on and I wouldn't be so upset right now. read more

I was run off the road 18 miles south of Mulberry on Hwy 37 The sheriff called Black Sheep towing to pull my car out of the ditch Now the tow charge was 85 dollars which was reasonable. However to GOUGE me 120 dollars to hook up a tow line to my trailer hitch on a outback wagon and pull it out is bullcrap[ Further more the dispatcher wanted the driver to collect cash only. No credit card or debit card as there would be a paper trail. These people are crooks and pulling some under handed crap. Fortunately I know some people in the tax collection services and I am sure they will be asking a lot of questions about their cash only transactions. DO NOT call these people or let any law officer call them as they will rip you off!! read more
