Trophy Mart is an outstanding business. I recently learned about Trophy Mart from perusing Yelp reviews. I needed 12 professional name tags for my community organization and I needed them done quickly (within a few days). I worked with both Josh (the owner) and Mia on my project. Both of them gave excellent customer service. They were attentive to my needs, listened intently, were receptive and patient with my feedback during the design process, and ultimately delivered a fantastic product on time! Moreover, the organization I represent is queer and transgender Asian Pacific Islander. Oftentimes queer and trans folx and organizations find it difficult to find places that welcome their business, let alone support and affirm them. The staff at Trophy Mart treated me with dignity and respect and worked hard for our small organization. They made us feel seen and special. Avoid. Terrible service and poor attitude. === EDIT: Owner contacted me to offer to pay me to delete my review. Claimed I wasn't truthful - he's actually sort of right, it was THREE months of waiting for my order, not 1 and a half. I have now added screen caps. See below. Again: Avoid! === Would rate zero if I could. Dropped off an order and waited a month and a half with no response. Went back in to check and they told me they hadn't started the project so I needed to wait longer. Two weeks later the order is ready. I drop by to pick up the order and tell the clerk I need Togo back to get my tax exemption form but he tells me not to worry about it since I can get the refund later. I pay. I returned with the form and the owner tells me he can't refund since it already was a finalized transaction. Response was basically "too bad." Terrible customer service and work ethic. === EDIT: Okay, the owner is disputing my complaint and basically calling me a liar so I am including screen caps of my initial order in late April 2016 and his e-mail to me offline and his reply here on Yelp. 0) The owner sent me an e-mail asking me to remove my review. 1) My main complaint is the slow and terrible customer service. They completely forgot about me until I reminded them. When I asked for the refund the clerk had no idea and had to get the owner. The owner was surly and scoffed at the idea of being responsible for promises made by his employee (to return the sales tax at a later date). I paid for my purchase based on the employee telling me I could always come back at a later time to get a sales tax refund. I wouldn't have paid if he didn't tell me this falsehood - I would have got the exemption form fist. 2) You can see he left out of his Yelp reply the fact that I had to wait 3 months to get my order quoted (only after I went in person to see what the hold up was). 3) The owner was responsible for his employee's lack of training and lack of understanding of sales tax refunds. Yet the owner refused to take responsibility for their promises. 4) The owner offered to refund the sales tax from his own pocket in a dismissive manner and when I agreed to take the money he basically scoffed at the idea of paying out of pocket. He later sent me an e-mail offering to do just this in exchange for removing my review. 5) You will see his Yelp review centers on not being able to refund state taxes. This is flat out false. I've had it done by other businesses after the sale many times. 6) I was fine to leave this matter alone after my negative review but this kind of reply to obfuscate the facts and paint me as untruthful couldn't be ignored. read more

This is the second time I've used Trophy Mart. My first experience was great, however this past experience was quite disappointing. Their quality is always good, but I was disappointed at the customer service. I worked with someone over the phone for my plaques and she was very nice. She showed me things on the website and went over things step by step. I was satisfied with what she told me so I sent over my information and artwork. I got a proof, but still wasn't given the total or an invoice. Next day I get an email saying the order is ready. I was surprised because I never got a final price to say, yes let's move forward. When I got there, I was shocked to see the price was a lot more than I expected based off of the conversation with the woman over the phone. Apparently, I was charged more for our custom logo, which was never told to me over the phone AND it's not on their website. When you see the website it makes it seem like it's included. I asked for them to honor the fact that there was no communication and I never was told the price before they went ahead and printed my order. I told them if I had of known this was the price, I never would have ordered it. I even said to the guy at the store that I'm willing to pay some of it since I know they have to run a business, but I kindly asked for them to acknowledge the lack of communication by a few dollars off or even 10%. The woman I worked with over the phone even had the email and agreed that it was never communicated to me. I mentioned that I used them last year, and the guy went to the back to ask the owner if I could have a discount. The owner never came out and the guy came back to tell me "no". The owner said "no" because I only purchased something from them once (So I guess if I visited them more often they would have honored their mistake). Their resolution was to reprint all eight plaques without the custom logo. So, they rather print brand new plaques and waste time, energy, and materials than give me $10 off. I have my own business and I never could imagine making a mistake on our end and not acknowledging it. I would make sure our customer was happy, especially if it was just a few bucks off. Again, the quality of the product was great, but I felt like they just didn't care even though I never was told the price and even though they admitted it was not communicated to me. If you use them, just make sure to get the price FIRST before they go to print. read more

I went into Trophy Mart yesterday to order some name plates for my staff. The gentleman that helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had visited a few other award-type stores over that past week to compare prices and products. Trophy Marts' prices are very competitive and they match that with the best service. Trophy Mart saved me! We had a miscommunication in my office as to who was getting the "trophy" for our first employee to hit 25 years of service. The "trophy" I wanted was not in their stock but they were able to expedited the shipment from the west coast at a very reasonable cost. I needed to have a trophy engraved with a quick turn around. I arrived at 9am on Monday and dropped everything off. Trophy Mart sent me a proof by about 2pm, and the trophy was ready to be picked up at 3pm the following day! The gentleman who helped me was very personable and helpful.
