Sometimes it's a wash, or much more expensive. When the latter is the case, I'll buy local. They have a huge sale going on right now that takes another 50% off everything they already hade marked down. There were hiking booklets that started at almost $200.00 that were on sale for $35.00. Asked the attendant hey can I borrow one from them. The response was "sorry we sell them so you'll need to buy one." Any time this has happened at other ranges they've always just tossed me one. So I told the guy ok no problem. Knowing I'll hop on yelp and 1 star you. Then Google and 1 star you and I'll just go back to rifle gear. If I would have known this was their response I woulda walked out before I paid for a lane. Getting repeat business is about the small things. Which doesn't include being small minded.
