Andy and his team do a fabulous job getting my travel trailer in and out of the shop quickly. I love his location right off the highway.

Our family recently rented a 43' bus from them and the experience was awful…read more To start off, none of the tank sensors worked correctly so we had no idea how full the black, grey, or fresh water tanks were. The only way we knew how full they were was based off whether the sink would drain. The rear master bath toilet wouldn't flush even fluid, so we all had to share the central toilet. While that's just a convenience, it's something that shouldn't happen in any world. The master bed motor wouldn't work so we had to physically lift the bed and disengage the motor so that the bed would fold out. When we had a technician inspect the motor, we found that there was a CPAP mask left under the bed which is disgusting. The lights in the bunk beds didn't work and TX RV adventures had no idea that they didn't until we pointed them out. They didn't do a full walkthrough of their own RV and it showed. The satellite tv wouldn't connect and the speaker system wouldn't connect to the tv. While that might've been user error, TX RV Adventures were relying on their little video to be the full walkthrough which it wasn't. The jack system wouldn't level correctly any time we tried to use it and it took multiple times to level the bus. It would regularly freak out and we would have to reset the system just to get it to work. Since we didn't have an actual walkthrough, we had to figure this out on our own which was extremely frustrating. The ac system was extremely loud and the sensors were off because the bus was either 76° or 60°. There was no in between. On our way home, the bus lost power because the turbo wouldn't build boost so we could only go 30 mph on the free way. Luckily, the engine built power after we turned it off and let it sit for a bit, but we still had the issue with losing power. While traveling home, the hydraulic hoses started leaking, so we weren't able to use the slide outs on the bus. When we got home, the mechanic told us it was a small leak and opened the slide which caused the bus to dump almost a gallon of hydraulic fluid on the street in front of our house. To top it off, Lauren herself said they had issues with Thor motor coach's paint quality and scratching with the slightest touch when she came to our house. After we returned the bus, TX RV adventures is now trying to file a claim against us to get the paint fixed even though they themselves admitted that the paint was of inferior quality and we did our best efforts to prevent trees from scratching it. When you're spending 5 figures on a rental bus, you want it to be as stress free as possible. This bus caused more headache and stress than it was worth and TX RV Adventures was as helpful as a box of nails. I do not recommend renting a bus from here. Edit: to top it off, TX RV Adventures is trying to deny that there were faults with the rv like the bed lights and bed motor.

This was our first rental from TX RV. We rented a 43 ft diesel pusher for 14 days. The experience…read morewas miserable from the time we drove to our first camp site. We spent 3 hours waiting on a technician to help us figure out why the jack leveling system wouldn't work. He finally told us how to reset the controls, and it worked. As a result of the wait, we missed a dinner with some dear family friends that have a new born. In addition, the power to the master bed did not work. We had to pull the cotter pin from the drive shaft and reinsert it every time we wanted to raise or lower the bed. The bus lost turbo boast on the way home. Luckily we have experience with diesel engines are were able to get the bus running again after a reset. Lastly, the hydraulic lines to the rear jacks blew a hose and we are not able to level the bus or put the slides out for the last couple days. The bus dropped a gallon of hydraulic fluid in the street in from of the house while we were unloading. Spent about 2 hours cleaning us that mess! Now, TX RV is complaining that we put some new scratched on the bus, and our "compensation" for all of the issues above is that they will cover the insurance deductible. Terrible place. DO NOT rent from them.

(May 2023) I'll leave my pros and cons list below, but first I want you to hear why I left after staying here for almost 2 years. THEFT/SAFETY: Management (Penny) will lie to you and say there's never any theft here. Since I've been here we've had 2 cars stolen, 8 trucks broken in to, bikes stolen, things stolen out of the back of truck beds, gate remotes stolen out of cars, multiple mini sheds broken in to and the list goes on. A bunch of us had to put cameras on our RV's and add motion Ring doorbells. This probably has a lot to do with the gates being broken and locked open all the time over the last year. The park also backs right up to interstate I-45 with no privacy wall/fence. We have had homeless people and hitchhikers walk up to our RV's high as kite going through our stuff. This has happened multiple times both during the day and late at night. We've had to go outside and confront them in order to get them to leave. Horrible management. They don't just go by what is in the MP rule book, their office manager (Penny) makes up rules as she goes. The contract and rules that you sign and agree to when moving in means nothing. She will print out the rules listed in the parks book and then hand write in whatever new rule she just made up that day and tape it to your door as a citation. FYI 3 citations and you're fined, or kicked out. She loves to threaten you with that statement. Cons: 1* Rude management and untrustworthy 2* Gates never work, and almost all the beautiful lighting they had up in the trees are all dead and they won't fix them. 3* hitchhikers walk up to your RV from freeway and lots of theft. 4* you have to download an app and pay through the app to do laundry and reserve a time slot. And it's super expensive! Almost $7 per load. 5* water has been shut off on us 45 times since 7/25/22 - 2/1/2023 I stopped counting after that. FYI, if you have laundry in one of their washer when they decide to turn the water off, with only a 15 minute warning, then your laundry is stuck in there till they turn it back on. 6* the wifi is non existent, so plan on having to buy your own hot spot 7* the rule book shows no aggressive dog breeds allowed, but they don't abide by that. 8* your kids are not allowed to play outside at all anymore unless you are sitting out there with them. You will get cited. 9* hot tub is broken all the time 10* there is a water leak under the blacktop down in the culdesac that runs down in to site 49. It's going to be a huge sinkhole if they don't take care of it, but management assures us it's nothing. 11* in the summer random outside cars will drive up to the community ice machine, fill their coolers up and leave. So most of the summer the machine stays empty due to this problem. And the office won't do anything to stop it. 12* If you have family come over and swim with you it's now $5 per person to use their pool. 13* we were recently told there's no more overflow parking for cars that won't fit in their rented spot and they don't like your guest to park out front of your RV. So now they are renting out the empty grass areas over by the woods for your car. Ridiculous! 14* the rebar failing on the sites with decking are falling apart and some of the decks look like they are about to cave in. 15* the stagnant retention pond attracts snakes and mosquitos so bad that you can't sit outside. 16* way overpriced for no amenities except a pool and laundry room which almost all RV parks offer. Pros: 1* Nice pool 2* front desk staff are friendly 3* They have a food truck come out a few times a month for the campers to enjoy. 4* I don't regret staying here, because I have made life long friends, but because of the new management they brought in, most of them are leaving right behind me and sadly none of us will ever stay here again. For the future full timers you will need this info below. District Manager: Alison Holcomb aholcomb@robertsrc.com Vice President: Scott McGee SMcgee@robertsrc.com Good luck!
