Primary receptionist rude, vocal, and next to helpless. She will not call insurance companies for…read morereferrals because "she never has" and too disgruntled to change her ways. Furthermore, the doctor supports her fully and called me specifically to ensure I understood that they do not call insurance companies to help clarify issues found on referrals submitted by the practice. They simply wait for the rejected referral and reply to it. I had requested physical therapy based on a script from my surgeon. It was never submitted because the primary receptionist that deals with Tricare was too busy and expected she would get to it in two weeks. Worthless. She is either overloaded with work or lazy, I am not sure which. Dr Carter will dispense medications you need in a timely manner, give you a semi decent exam, explain some of what needs to be done but when it comes to assisting the patient versus her staff, the patient is screwed. Needless to say I have switched doctors where the staff is pleasant and the doctor seems to genuinely care about you and ensures you referrals are submitted no later then the next business day. When my new doctor requested my medical records from doctor Carters practice, they never sent them over. Don't waste your time with this practice, find a quality team that truly cares for you and has the staff to support your needs.

Wait times are terribly long when I found a clinic that im glad gives me my meds without so many questions, hassle and tried degree. They never sent the referrals me and my kid needed or helped me sleep after months trying to get somewhere they kept were no help. The nurse talks to much for Katy all about herself. News flash we are here for our concerns not yours. I'm glad youre wealthy and can afford brand new clothes. Nobody cares. They make you wait god awfully long and do very little. They don't want to do any testing unless you beg. Their Indian dr sucks too. Katy Perritt is always in a hurry. Rushes in and out to the next. She doesn't give a crap about her patients.​​

I was left w my walker in an exam room for over 1/2 an hour in a chair I could not get out of by myself. No one thought to check on me. I could overhear him thru the door discussing plans to attend a Rotary function that night. Doc Page had no clue what my condition was. I explained what it was and he said he never heard of it. Keep in mind he's 60. Another time I suffered a fall and he asked me & my wife what type of pain medication I'd like and how much? I was taken aback, especially in this age of problems w that type of thing. He's probably close to retirement and would be fine for a kid's school physical or flu shots or an older person regular visit...small town regular stuff. I ended up switching to UF North.

It happened on a Friday. The doctor gave me medicine and told me to call if there was any trouble with it. Well, it got worse. Starting getting badly infected and swollen. I called, expecting to be sent to the E.R. But Dr. Page called my back personally, met me at his office, did a little cutting/cleaning in the infected area and gave me stronger antibiotics. It got better by Monday. No other doctor I know of would have done what he did. I have seen him for almost 20 years and in my opinion he is great !!
