We got a hot dog, cheeseburger, milkshake, ice cream, fried cauliflower, and a large curly fries for less than $25 (including tip). They had a variety of ice cream flavors. I got the banana cream pie which was very much exactly what it said on the label. I wish we'd had more time to spend here because I'd love to see what their other restaurants are like. Prices aren't worth what you're getting. No free refills. Just not going back.

I didn't ask her to bring me a cup of it to go, and wouldn't have thought to ask, so I was very happy she brought it for the rest of our ride to Cleveland. We ordered some macaroni and jalapeño bites which were a hit as far as myself and the little one were concerned, with not too much heat that she could enjoy them. The restaurant has a Brussels sprouts appetizer, but they do it as an "of the week" special. The week we were here it was inspired by elote, so it had some corn and cheese and stuff on it and they were so good. I love Brussels sprouts, and will happily try them prepared in a new way. As of June 2026, I think they are short staffed. Our food took a little longer than usual but that was ok; it gave us a chance to chat and relax. Just be patient if you visit in the near future since they are down an employee or two! But even with that, it was a pleasant evening, the staff were fantastic and helpful, and the food totally hit the spot.

The home fries were especially memorable -- perfectly cooked with just the slightest crispiness to them. I actually asked the waitress how they got them like that, and she told me they use panko. So good. The staff was very friendly, and the whole place had such a quaint, welcoming atmosphere. It felt like one of those little hometown restaurants you hope to stumble across on a long trip.
