I guess I should thank my child for this one because her desire to find a playground is why we found this place. It's along the road just off the highway to the park we went to. It's next door to the hotel and when we went it wasn't so busy that we were ignored but they staff were certainly being kept on their toes (Father's Day weekend, graduations, hotel guests...). They have both indoor seating (complete with a bar if you'd like to sit there) and a really nice looking patio area. The food was fantastic. Our server was great too; she was really friendly and helpful with recommendations. I ordered the reuben sandwich, which was deeeelicious. The salmon was apparently wonderful too, from what my partner said. And I ordered the macaroni and cheese from the kids menu but it was huge. My baby loved it and since it was so huge there was too much for her, so I had the rest at a later time. They had a really good strawberry lemonade, of which we (my daughter and I, because of course she had to have some) drank several glasses. Our server even brought me a to-go cup of it because she said it looked like we were slowing down and may be near finishing. I didn't ask her to bring me a cup of it to go, and wouldn't have thought to ask, so I was very happy she brought it for the rest of our ride to Cleveland. But perhaps my favorite part of the meal were the appetizers. We ordered some macaroni and jalapeño bites which were a hit as far as myself and the little one were concerned, with not too much heat that she could enjoy them. The restaurant has a Brussels sprouts appetizer, but they do it as an "of the week" special. The week we were here it was inspired by elote, so it had some corn and cheese and stuff on it and they were so good. I love Brussels sprouts, and will happily try them prepared in a new way. As of June 2026, I think they are short staffed. Our food took a little longer than usual but that was ok; it gave us a chance to chat and relax. Just be patient if you visit in the near future since they are down an employee or two! I was in town for work and stayed at the hotel directly next door. Having this spot so close was a no brainer to enjoy a meal and some beverages as I didn't need to drive. I ate the nachos. This is not a one person meal, they are very large. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very prompt and personable. I was looking for a place with a hearty vegan option half-way between Toledo and New York City without going too far off the highway and it seemed like Station 101 would fit the bill- a Black Bean Burger made in house, some tasty nacho options, and I even called ahead to confirm we could get a hearty vegan option, and confirmed it was! Yay! Unfortunately, when we arrived, the last Bean Burger had been sold and the black beans listed as a side were actually cooked in some heavy butter... so it became one of those stops where only French fries were the hot vegan option... because who wants a cold salad when it's 20°F?! In any case, the server was very nice about it and the Craft Beer was still vegan, and because we called ahead about the vegan burger option, they even comped the fries for running out. So- disappointed it wasn't as hearty as we hoped for a vegan on our arrival- but very kind to apologize with comped fries. For those who weren't vegan- the French Dip on ciabatta was on special and sooooo good. I don't like horseradish and it didn't overwhelm the flavor, so it was absolutely perfect! The pulled pork melt with crispy fried onions and bbq sauce was also excellent with a very crunchy buttered thick Texas toast bread. The food here is good. Good amount of parking in their private lot. A host/ess seats you with menus, flatware wrapped in cloth napkins and if you like, a wine & beer list. Cocktail specials list is at the table. The restaurant has a very laid back, comfortable vibe. The carpeting in the dining area is showing some age but really helps keep the sound down. There are two window walls, one over looking a covered outdoor seating area. The lamb lollipops were quite tasty as were the onion strings they are served on. The side of gravy was heavy tasting. For me it didn't pair well and wasn't needed but I know some people really like gravy with their meat. Lamb Lollipop are listed under the appetizers. I paired them with a side Caeser salad which was fresh and crisp. The dressing is very mild, not as peppery as some I've had and I enjoyed this version. The reuben sandwich comes in a half portion or full sandwich. The full sandwich is a lot of food and a half would have been enough. It comes with hand cut fries or substitute any of the other sides. This side salad was fresh and the blue cheese dressing nice and chunky. The reuben was recommended as good, the waitress also said it was good and my dining companion agrees. Our server was excellent. Kept our waters full, checked in a few times and suggested dessert. We would gladly return next time in DuBoise, PA. read more

Was pretty impressed with this place. I'm from Jersey where good food is in abundance. I stayed in Du Bois for a weekend for my grandfathers funeral up in Punxsutawney and was dead set on not eating anything for the weekend. Ended up stopping here around nine at night after a long day. The food was delicious. We shared a HUGE platter of nachos. I got a ribeye. It was cooked exactly how I asked a fraction of the price of what I'd spend in Jersey. Dessert was great too. Modern industrial design with a nice deck and is very convenient to the interstate. We dropped in for dinner. I ordered the Paloma cocktail. It was very tasty, and not lacking in alcohol content. My husband ordered the filet and a baked potato. His steak was tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly at medium rare the way he ordered it. I had the Cajun Gumbo which was complete with shrimp, sausage, mussels (surprise!) and was appropriately spicy! We started with a side salad and a cup of beer cheese soup. Worse crab cakes ever. They are advertised as being served with a light salad For $26. No other sides, so I ordered a side of Fries. What came to my table was unrecognizable as crab cakes. They were covered in a sauce On top of a few scattered greens. I tasted 5he sauce it was some kind of creamy vinaigrette which I didn't like. What I uncovered were thin charred Patties that looked more like hamburgers than crab cakes. The texture was a creamy mush underneath the char and the taste was even worse. Steer clear of the crab cakes at all cost - I don't know if it was this cook on this one night, but I will never order them again; horrible. I did have calamri for an appetizer and that was great otherwise this would be a one rating. read more

They have a good list of local brews, and I had a flight (which gives me a little of everything). I had mostly IPAs. My favorite has to be the "sugar coated pont kisses" - bc of flavor and name of course. I had the chicken club for my meal and substituted regular fries for sweet potatoe. I was not disappointed! This restaurant is one of my all time favorite restaurants. We travel a few times a year on Route 80 from eastern Pa to Slippery Rock. We now try and time our 4 hour drives to include a stop at this restaurant. My favorite is the French dip. I always ask for horseradish. Yummy! (Also tastes great the next day too.). I rave about their soups. On 11/16/25, we stopped on our way home. I had the last cup of the Potato leek soup. It didn't disappoint. The kids meals were adult size. The burgers and mac and cheese were tasty. My DIL had pork tacos and the beer cheese soup. She was extremely happy with her meal. I didn't really see what my son ordered, only because he ate it so fast. We will be back on our next trip West! read more

Was craving a good steak all weekend traveling from Michigan to the East Coast. Stopped for dinner here because it was open on Sunday night and got great reviews. Had the 6 oz filet, medium rare, with a loaded baked potato and salad with made in-house blue cheese dressing. It. Was. Perfect. Great crust on the steak and perfectly cooked inside. Huge chunks of blue cheese in the dressing. And all for $30, which is half of what you would pay where I live. Husband had the wings, bourbon maple sauce was great and yummy juicy and meaty wings, along with that homemade blue cheese dressing, with a side of most excellent made to order Mac and cheese. We were so happy. The service was outstanding. Laid back, prompt, great menu suggestions. We don't find ourselves in Dubois PA often but would go out of our way to dine here again. read more

I come here when I'm traveling for work, and this time there were some gaps in service. My girlfriend and I got the fried green tomatoes and stuffed mushrooms to split as an appetizer. We each ordered the mahi tacos with a side salad (instead of rice/beans). The server was very sweet. She asked us if we wanted the salads to come out with the tacos, and we said yes. To our surprise, the salads came out first. No appetizers. Right after they set the salads down, the appetizers came out. Our table was overloaded, at best. Not even one minute later, the tacos came out. The server said they were having issues in the kitchen - that's clear. So we decided to role with it and I decided to eat my tacos first, so they wouldn't get cold. Too late-not only did they come out too fast, they were already cold. Who knows how long they sat there. It was pointless to return anything so we just dealt with it. They have a cute place and nice menu. But the timing in the kitchen really needs some basic improvement. read more

Had Fried green tomatoes on a bed of lettuce with a delicious remoulade. Mussels were perfect garlic in a wine sauce with perfect toast. I ate outside. What a beautiful day and night. The inside is adorable. Service exceptional. And exactly 45 mins away is Cook Forest. Go to the Cathedral Pines. Right off 80. Probably the finest and quietest pine forest: accessible, beautiful, walkable, picturesque, photographable, and breathtaking with pine warblers in the background. read more

For our post-golf lunch I suggested Station 101 Pub as it's one of my two "go to" places in DuBois (after Luigi's Ristorante). They removed my FAVORITE entree--lobster Mac n'cheese--so I ordered half-sized Reuben with fries with the beer cheese soup. The Reuben was large and tasted SO GOOD, however, we were disappointed with the fries--which were overdone to the points that they appeared "hollow" with the potato insides missing! I thought I'd had the soup before but this did NOT taste what one would imagine "beer cheese soup" would taste--it was like a watered down vegetable broth instead of what I'd imagine would have been a rich creamy CHEESE-flavored concoction! read more

This was my first time in DuBois, PA and I was very glad to have found this spot. The food menu is fairly diverse and will have something on the menu anyone would want. This restaurant also serves unique drink items. There is some bar seating area, table tops, and an outside area that opens up when it is warmer. Service was very quick. I tried two things on the menu. I had the dynamite roll and the maple bourbon wings. I respect the effort in trying to put the dynamite roll on the menu, but if I went back it would not be my first choice. The maple bourbon wings on the other hand were amazing and I would highly recommend to everyone. Very good cook on the wings and well sauced. She also told me the specials which included French onion soup!! I ordered the soup, which was VERY tasty, and the French dip with the blue cheese pecan slaw instead of fries. Everything was soooooo good. The slaw is light and refreshing and kinda similar to the blue cheese pecan chopped from outback, but with a coleslaw base. Super tasty and the dressing felt more light and fresh. The sandwich bread was very soft, which rarely happens with a French dip but how I like it. Great taste in the meat and it has a horseradish aioli that I got extra of and slathered on it. Seriously so good. Come here and be happy. read more

On a road trip back to NY. I'm avoiding dairy, grains & sometimes meat so this looked like a good option. First off, being on a road trip I look like a hot mess & I wanted good food without feeling like I needed to look presentable lol. Well this is the place for you if you're worried about that! This is for sure a judge free zone & I like it. They have a great beer list, not necessarily a good draft list. All their mixed drinks sounded so good it was hard picking which one I wanted. I ended up getting bees knees & it was a lot like a lemon drop martini, a bit on the sweet side. On the appetizers the seared tuna & lamb lollipops caught my eye (I know, not vegan at all) being the safest options. I appreciate the bartender steered us away from the Buffalo wings, stating they weren't great. The lamb lollipops could have been a meal! They were huge!! They came on onion straws & my husband said I wasn't missing anything. With that said the lamb was fantastic. The seared tuna was cut bigger than a bite size & I asked for no soy sauce & for some reason they cut the wasabi too. Well, it needed the soy sauce cause it was a little bland. Next, for dinner I was considering getting the black bean burger but I wanted to know what was in it first & the bartender happily asked & found out it was Morning star brand which was full of grain & gluten so that was a no go. Instead, we stayed the carnivore route & shared a ribeye & added scallops. After we finished the steak I realized we never got scallops & the bartender never said anything about it. So, this is not the type of place you would go out of your way to eat but on a road trip it's a much better option than fast food. read more

We had a fantastic dinner here! To be honest, we weren't expecting much since this restaurant is right across from a hotel. We were on a road trip, and this was just a convenient spot to get dinner. We were blown away! The service was friendly and attentive. We opted to dine outdoors on their covered patio, which was wonderful since the weather was nice. The food was excellent. My wife had the Blackberry Bliss salad, and she said it was one of the best salads she's ever had. All of the ingredients were fresh and delicious. I opted for the Pub Burger, which is a classic go-to choice for me. The flavors and textures were great. For the side I went with the German Potato Salad, which was very tasty with a strong mustard flavor. Certainly not the most authentic version of a German potato salad, but still delicious. We were very happy with our entire dinner experience, and only wish that 101 Pub & Kitchen wasn't so far away so we could enjoy it more often. read more
