I had two crowns from another dentist that left exposed tooth, recently ​they told me after getting my teeth cleaned every six months I needed to replace those crowns because they had gotten a cavity underneath. I asked if they could have covered the teeth exposed with a filling to extend the lifetime of the crown and protect the tooth the dentist said " I could have, but its too late now" wth, why didnt he just do it when he saw my exposed tooth years ago. Now he wants 2k per new crown and the last one he did he ground down so far its still giving me troubles. He had told me after the longest grinding id ever experienced as a mature woman, that there was no more cavity he was just making sure the crown fit well.. explained after I was still having trouble that it probably just cracked- well yeah when you leave nothing left... so im done.
