For our backyard project he built us a pergola that's I found online and to this day looks beautiful. In June we had the pleasure of working with Blair Landscape Services, Inc. to completely redesign our very tired and overgrown front yard. Owner Randy Blair is very professional and from our first meeting I felt comfortable working with him to finalize our landscape design. Our project entailed demolition of all existing plants and lawn and removal of some of the concrete walkway to the front porch. A smaller lawn area was added with a new irrigation system. Beautiful Mediterranean plants and shrubs on a drip system surround the lawn. But by far my favorite part of the transformation is the addition of a new paver pathway, pavers on the front porch and a low voltage lighting system throughout the yard. These elements have really transformed the look of our home and have greatly improved our curb appeal! As with most homes in the area, we let our lawn go brown because of the drought. We contacted Randy to design and install new drought-tolerant landscaping in the front yard, as well as compact gravel on our side yard. Both turned out beautifully! The front yard was re-landscaped with mulch, a cool winding dry creek bed, and an nice variety of low-maintenance plants on a drip system. We have worked with Randy three separate times over ten years. Each time, Randy has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Randy is extremely honest, patient, and extremely knowledgeable in all areas of landscape design and construction. For each of our projects, Randy spent time evaluating our ideas and helping to bring them to reality. Our most recent project was the most complex (for us). The project took about 3 weeks and included removing existing mal-performing trees, wisteria, rotten pergolas, weed filled grass and inefficient irrigation. In its place they delivered 22 species of plants and trees, built a rock retaining wall, planted the most appropriate trees along the perimeter, installed quality landscape lighting, replaced the grass with a variety that will better withstand our dogs and kids and converted all planting beds to drip irrigation. I have no problem recommending Blair Landscape Services. Randy (the owner) is extremely professional providing well laid out estimates. Everything was performed to schedule. The crews were always on time and some days worked beyond finishing time as they wanted to make sure to be at a good finishing point for the day. Our back garden was not too bad but was a bit dated. Randy worked with us to spread it out over 3 major projects with a time frame of 18 months. The crew took out shrubs and lawn at the side and proceeded to build a large new Trex deck with drainage,converted most of the sprinklers throughout the garden to drip plus reworked a large corner with new plantings . Phase two was taking out a large concrete pad with wooden shade structure to replace it with a Trex deck and new shade structure, replacing all the irrigation with drip plus replacing the old lawn plus putting in landscape lighting (something new for the garden - and I love it). Finally phase 3 was taking down our old storage shed, building a new pergola, adding a climbing trellis and putting in lovely flagstone hardscape. In each phase we also did some replacement and new plantings. Randy broke each large phase down into smaller projects priced accordingly so we were able to keep within our budget. Everything looks wonderful. Once the drought is over we will have Randy back to redo our front. read more

I called them some time in April for an estimate and at the time they scheduled me to start June 24th. I thought as the date got closer they would have to bump me back a couple of weeks as I was sure the other jobs ahead of me would be delayed but that was not the case. June 24th came and they were on the job and 3 weeks later my front and rear lawns and landscaping were complete.
