Friday and my crown is off and feels like something broke or is chipped. They have a very nice marketing program re: emergency services. Ignore that. Three phone calls to a number listed for emergencies. No answer and no response on 6+ hours. They evidently don't have or offer emergency services. They just write about. Dentists in the Blairsville work only 3-4 ft days per week. None actually provide such service. None are truthfully in their advertising. I WOULDN'T LET THIS PLACE NEAR MY MOUTH. I am visiting this area for the past month looking for a place to buy. Last night my crown cracked in half. It's so sharp that it's cutting my tongue and hurts so bad.As I was explaining the lady at the desk, without letting me finish, said "We probably don't have anything for a couple of weeks. No we don't. Can you wait?" I told her that I was only staying here for another week and asked if there was anything that I could do or use to put on my tooth to stop it from cutting my tongue. And she just shook her head at me and said we don't have anything that we could give you and I said "I'm not asking you to give me anything for free. I'm asking if there's anything out there that could prevent this from cutting my tongue like wax or something like that. What would you tell your daughter?" She said "No, I don't know of anything that can help you". I assure you she had zero desire to be helpful. Zero compassion. When I walked out the front door to my car I looked back at her and she was laughing about it with another employee. When she saw me looking she stopped laughing instantly. If you are looking for a place that shows care and concern for patients, avoid this place. When I came to write this review, this place has a lot of one star reviews which does not surprise me. I was having a consult for a broken tooth. I was not looking forward to losing another tooth. Kendall, the tech, was very helpful with taking x-rays and answering questions. When Dr. Perez came in, he explained that I didn't have to lose a tooth and he could fix the tooth! Yay!! Charged nearly $300 for cleaning appt. Never told bite wing x-rays was mandatory. This is $100 more than my perio charges in non-rural area. Staff was NOT pleasant nor accommodating. TOO overpriced and expensive. I had a cleaning by perio office 12 weeks prior so nil tartar buildup. NO EXCUSE for exorbitant prices. Hygenist was very GRUFF as well w NO extra service to charge $170 for her services or $124 for a viewing only by dentist w insincere smiles just for a "look-see" approach. NOT RECOMMEND FOR EVEN ONE APPT let alone permanent dental service. HUGE MISTAKE! AVOID! AVOID AVOID! I made an appointment for Jan. and it was canceled, so I made another appointment for March, no problems just teeth cleaning. The person who made it said that it would be better since my insurance would pay for te panorama xrays then. I was given bith panorama and bite wings and charged because my insurance didnt pay. 3 days difference. Also, it took two tries to get the xrays that I am now supposed to pay for...not good. read more

I have been a patient at Blairsville Dentistry for 6 years. I have guardianship of my 26 year old autistic son who is also a patient. He has his teeth cleaned every 3 months. Why? 1) Facilities: A well appointed wood and earth tone mountain forest cabin vs a stainless steel and porcelain hospital OR room aids in reducing any anxiety levels one might be having. Use of new-tech, small, hand-held user friendly devices adds to this. 2) Personnel: Knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, cheerful and caring. 3) Procedure: Dr Noland possesses a noticeable gentle and steady hand and, along with her assistants, provides an almost painless experience. Was told to come in after THOROUGHLY letting them know what my daughter needed AND waited 3 weeks for the appointment. They called my daughter in the back, looked in her mouth and said we can't do that procedure here. She was back there all of 2 minutes. Then they charged $104 for the "examination." Amongst asking why were we being charged they snickered. read more

Everyone was so nice but nice doesn't count when your extream pain. I went here prior to getting all my teeth pulled in Dawsonville Ga in preparation for dentures. After having my teeth removed I experienced terrible pain in one area. I went to Dr Noland and she put medication in the area. It was for a dry socket. It all fell out in less then 24 hours. I went back and was crying and in extreme pain. I told I thought it was infected maybe she told me mo. Because I felt pressure and throbbing I asked about sticking a needle or something to see if anything comes out. She told me no and said your going to have to go back to Dawsonville Ga which is over 2 hours away. I asked for something to take away the pain so I could get there. I didn't want anything to make me dopey or confused. I was looking for something to num the area like novacain. She said no. Sorry u need to go to Dawsonville. I left went home and just felt like I needed to take a needle to the puffed up area. When I did off white oozed out. I cleaned the area with peroxide. Took 2 antibiotics I had and I immediately felt some relieve. Next day pain was all gone except for a mild discomfort. Went back and got my money I had paid for my dentures. I didn't go in looking for an argument I just wanted to get my 5k back and leave. The receptionist on the other hand did want to start an argument. Her exact words were you needed to go to Dawsonville not come here. I told just drop it. She started and I swear this is true 3 times and each time I told her to just drop it. She was really trying to bully me into a fight. I'm 69 years old I don't need that kind of stress. I'll never recommend this dental office. ​ read more

I also realize that these stressed-out patients may adversely react to the new protocols that you must enforce for yours and the patient's wellbeing. Perhaps better communications at the greeting in the parking lot might be helpful. I was not told how long to keep the mouth wash in my mouth. At previous times arriving for my appointments, I was told 20 seconds. This was my understanding. Imagine my confusion when I heard, "I didn't tell you to spit it out". I was taken aback by the rude remark. I am not a child but a 64 yr. old woman who should be given the respect of an adult not treated like a misbehaving child. And it escalated from there. As I have stated above, I understand you receive all types in a day's course. But a professional attitude goes a long way to keep a happy, paying clientele. Absolutely the best Dentist I've been too,from the front desk,to both Dr's Noland & King whom we're professionals and answered all my questions and told me what was going on thru out both of my procedures. Also the dental assistant Meagan who was very nice talked to me in between both my procedures and was very helpful on both! Great Dentists and staff, Hygienists are thorough and confident. My only complaint ( doesn't always happen) but understanding they are busy, but if you don't get an early appointment you can plan on a wait at times. So grateful to our Primary Care doctor for recommending this dental office. The Dentist and all of the staff are welcoming, friendly, professional and very well organized. The dentist office can be a scary place for children and adults alike, but this office is different! Everything was explained in detail to put me at ease during my first new-patient appointment. ive been going to this office for many years. the staff was the best, most friendliest and family feel to the whole office. it has changed so much. once they changed office managers the feel and happiness of this environment changed. the staff has so much turnover now. i feel that you are just a patient now and nothing more. the friendliness is gone as well. no one seems happy and i have heard so many people say they are changing dentist now. the best hygienist i ever had is now gone and teresa is no longer with them, i will probably follow suit with many other patients. i have dealt with some rudeness in the office area before but let it go because of the people in the back who cared for me was so worth it, but as staff continues to change that is not the case any longer. as an owner of a business myself it is very hard to believe that someone one would sit back and watch their business deteriorate. read more
