Reviewing for the body shop: I was involved in a minor accident. Not too familiar with the area, I came to Blaise off of the recommendation of the insurance agent. I called to set up an appointment around 2pm and was told by JR (body shop manager) that he could take me the very next day! I was so shocked and happy. I brought my car in the next morning. JR and the rest of the staff were very kind as I had no clue what I was really doing. JR called me when it was finished and even called the insurance company on my behalf to complete payment while I was attending class. When I picked up my car, it looked amazing. They washed it too - which was a nice bonus because even my own dealership won't do that unless I specifically ask! I was extremely thrilled with JR's service and the entire experience with Blaise. Unfortunately, this dealership will bait and switch you with false advertising to get you in the door. Then, employees will gaslight you and give you a $1 lottery scratch-off ticket as a consolation prize. If Blaise is not honest about ads, there's no way they're honest about car sales. Revised Review* Buying a car there = good experience. Servicing the car there = not as good. Once I had an appointment for an oil change. Two hours later car wasn't even taken back yet. Asked for my keys and left, just went to jiffy lube style place instead. I have a prepaid package for oil changes. The first few oil changes they denied I had such a package. The last oil change I went to pay and sure enough, they said I have a prepaid package and owed nothing. Today I had an appointment for service since the transmission is failing. Had to wait several days for an appointment which was disappointing, however it was made for 730am. It is now 9am and the car has yet to move from the spot I parked it in. why have appointments in the first place! This is highly frustrating! I visited this dealership, test drove a car. The salesman was down to Earth and didn't pressure me, haven't received annoying emails, harassing calls or literature in the mail. Having said that, I knew exactly what I was looking for but he showed me some other vehicles to consider. Very knowledgeable and courteous customer service in the sales department. My daughter bought a CX-5 the other day from Blaise Alexander of State College. Bob our salesman a strait shooter was fair but firm. He did what he could do. Although the vehicle had excessive mileage due to being a rental car it was cared for. Dealership allowed us to take the car to our mechanic with only a $1000. deposit. Where as other dealerships in the area told us you buy it it's yours. Came back that a bulb that was bad, rear wiper need replacement, and aliment. All will be taken care of. Tires were at 50% breaks barely passed inspection. After a little chat they aggreged to offer a discount when replacement is needed. Also only one fob with car another one given. Even the financing deal was fair. Understand that due to the climate in purchasing a preowned car in todays environment there are no great deals. The best you can hope for is a fair deal and that's what we received. No hidden fees just cost of the car+tax+TTL=FAIR DEAL! I saw a used car I wanted to test drive. Through their website, I set up an appointment. It was set up with a customer care representative online. When I showed up, the salesman's face almost turned to stone when he saw me, a black guy, walk in. After I explained why I was there, he went back to speak with the manager. 10 minutes later, he came back and the vehicle I had set up the appointment to test drive suddenly was an hour away at another location. Then he interrogated me to ascertain whether I was really there to try to purchase a car or, presumably, to steal one. Humiliating experience. Not going back. I gave this a 1 star only because I couldn't do 0 star. read more

I was looking for a used Subaru Forester. I was told to visit the dealership, and they had "great news" for me. I am savvy enough to know that whenever a car salesperson says "great news," it is bull hockey about 99 percent of the time. They appraised my trade-in, and offered me $3000 less than I was expecting for it. As far as I was concerned, this was an insult, and there would be no deal at this point after that joke of an offer! Because of the negative equity, partly because they were offering me virtually nothing for my trade-in, I wouldn't get approved for financing on a pre-owned car. So they tried to swap me into a new car. The only ones with enough rebates to make the deal affordable were the Veloster (Impractical since I have two kids not to mention the car is ugly), and the Sonata Hybrid (We already have a sedan and don't need another one. We are looking at SUVs for a reason). I asked about the Tucson, but since SUVs are now in demand, there are few rebates. At that point, I promptly left. I got a much better deal a couple of days later, and the offer for my trade-in was not insulting. read more

This dealership is one to steer clear of. They mark up their prices on used vehicles more than one that you can get a brand new one with the same features on! They undercut your used vehicle for trade in according to the black book. I looked up the black book, and what they said was only worth less than 5000. was actually worth over 10,000. They are trying to rip people off and make money because of big money college people wanting to spend money for their kids. Kills me to do this, but I wont ever go back there. I bought my car from there and they charged me a thousand dollars more the its website had the car listed for. I approached them about the subject and they lied to my face saying it wasn't the same car. They finally obliged and said yes we will refund you, it was the principal behind it. I asked for all the service records that my car had done at the dealership, I never got the paper copy. Johnny himself told me he would call me and give me details on the accident the car was in, he never did. I drove the car off the lot and got home, and noticed white smoke coming from hood, and several minor chips in the windshield. I asked if this would be covered by warranty and they said no, even though I had a 30 day warranty and the car was off the lot for 12 minutes. I got the run around the entire time, and I will never ever buy a car from them again. read more

My experience was awkward and uncomfortable to say the least.... The salesman insisted on me purchasing him drinks and wanted to know what I was doing later in the evening. After several attempts to brush it off or change the subject he didn't get the hint.... It was my first time purchasing a vehicle... Is this appropriate or normal behavior for a car salesman??? Work is not the proper place to hit on women. I think I may stick to the catabus....... Months later I find out the salesmans name, Darrick Brown.
