When the techs arrived, they said they could not inspect with a video. I called and inquired as to whether this would lower the price. "No". Ok. They had to move my stove, which rests on granite tiled floor. An awful grinding noise, (which I should have immediately called out). I wanted the techs to show me how dirty it was and their first pass had just a bit of creosote. But they made sure to mention that it was "really" dirty and that I should schedule once a year. Ok. But, I used to do my own at a previous home and compared to that, it was NOT really dirty by any means. They were done in 10 minutes. Pushed back the stove and I paid them cash. In doing so, they charged me $300. Thank you. However, when they left, I gave everthing a closer look. The original debris that came out of the pipe was still on the floor behind the stove (Are you kidding me? Your vaccuum was right there and could have sucked this up in under 5 seconds) and then I noticed the crazy scratches on the granite. I called back office; sent in photos and explained what happened. I demanded a fix (Not rocket science, as the stone has to be sanded and polished), but is it my responsibility to do the job correctly that I paid $300 for)? The back office asked me if I had pictures of the floor before the techs scratched it? Ah, no. Supposedly I'm to expect a call back from the owner. Been a week and 1/2. Crickets.

I was told beforehand that the carpet would be dry in just a few hours after being cleaned. They asked me if I wanted a "stain protector" for the carpet (It was offered free), but I declined. After the two very young men were finished with the cleaning, we left to go shopping for three or four hours. When we came home I tested the carpet to make sure it was dry; I was absolutely shocked to feel the carpet: it was very wet, not damp, and it had a sticky feel to it. I called the company and was told to wait until morning to check it again. In the morning, I tried to vacuum the carpet (as I was told to), but it was impossible: the carpet was so sticky the vacuum wouldn't budge! It was still wet in many areas after more than 24 hours. In short, I had to argue extensively with this company to refund my money, as they offered to re-clean the carpet, which was just not an option when I thought it was already completely ruined by their unprofessional "work." I was so upset because not only did they soak my expensive carpet and leave it with a extremely sticky residue, but they ended up telling me that they in fact HAD used the stain protector on my carpet, despite me telling them I didn't want it. On top of this horrible experience, they didn't just admit guilt and refund my money. It wasn't until I told them I would put the charge in dispute with my credit card company that they finally agreed. If it wasn't for Pinnacle Chem Dry in Jackson, I believe we may have had to remove all the carpet and replace it. Pinnacle was so incredibly professional and cleaned my carpet twice, removing all the residue and saved us from a huge expense. I realized after having Pinnacle clean my carpet, that Fullers didn't use the same kind of equipment and never arrived in a professional carpet cleaning van. Pinnacle Chem Dry is who I recommend to everyone.
