I repeatedly asked her if they move things to dust and she assured me they did. Well, not only did they not move things, they "dusted" by using a dirty old swiffer! The next day my brother visited my mom and sent me a video of all the dust still under doilies and knickknacks and on pictures etc. ! Now keep in mind this is a first time clean. I've been in the cleaning business for over 30 years and the first time clean is usually the best and then you maintain that cleanliness. If this was their best, I cringe at the thought of what they're maintaining clean looks like. They didn't move even a freestanding fan when they vacuumed, didn't clean the inside of the microwave, did not wipe down the front of the refrigerator or stove, as she told me they did and they spilled oil from an older fan, that my mom owns, on her bedspread and carpet and then tried to tell me it was leaking! There was no oil where the fan have been sitting. To top it off they charged me $50 and were there an hour! Had I seen the video before sending the check, I would've paid her what I thought it was worth, at most $25. Below you will see a response. Yes they say they are going to void my check. As for integrity ... There is none. As I told her.. " It's definitely not about the money.. It's about integrity!" Which, I'm sure, is why she added that to her response. Sad really. I heard more excuses and blaming everyone but themselves than I care to mention. Trust me.. Save your hard earned money!

I did my research and had it narrowed down to a couple different companies. I chose DUCTZ of Mid Michigan even though the price was a little higher. I was impressed with the reviews and thought to myself "you get what you pay for" I was very happy with the work that was done, the guys called in the morning and asked if they could come a little earlier which worked out perfect. The guys were at the house for about 3- 3 1/2 hours. The guys explained to me the process, I received pictures of before and after and I could hear some of the stuff being sucked out of the ducts. The two guys were professional and cleaned up, I would definitely call DUCTZ again and refer the company to anyone who asked.

This was after it took them about a month to even get started. We secured financing for the work, but when the work started, a number of things we had discussed weren't what they were doing at all. We had discussed a jacuzzi style tub with jets and wiring going into the wall with that, and that is not the tub that we got. They offered to replace it, but of course, that was going to cost more. We asked to have a plumbing leak inspected and fixed in another bathroom, that we were then told we understood would be covered in the contract and financing that we had secured. Once work began, suddenly that was going to cost us more. What should have been a 2 week project at most that we called in June to have fixed, I'm writing on October 4th, and after waiting for 2 days being told the painter will "be there today" and holding my daily plans for that, finally he showed on the 3rd day. Now I'm left with an unfinished wall in the room they were projected to work on, and a gaping hole in my bathroom wall upstairs because as a disabled veteran on a fixed income that had secured financing for everything, I can't suddenly handle the surprise charges like putting the wall back together where they cut it out, despite a detailed discussion prior to the start of work that they would build an access panel into that wall. If you have work you need to get done, you're better off holding your pipes together and hoping the hard water we get locally leaves behind enough residue to eventually patch the leak itself than hiring these guys. Would not do business with again.
