Good job to Lou for This is a big and solid mall with all kinds of options and choices and they're not too bad in general, but they do have a few issues on the other hand, such as a lot of very rude drivers and a lot of the stores closing down and some bad traffic, and it can be really hard getting in and out of some of these parking lots because of the awful traffic. It's designed well but probably not for all the large volume of people that comes in and out of this area. I do however like it around here and there is a great boba shop and Vietnamese restaurant here that I like a lot.

I work nearby. So, I come here fairly often to dine, shop, run errands and have desserts. Starts from southeast side of mall, they got Panera Bread, Sally Beauty, Marble Slab Creamery, Kublai Khan Mongolian, Lane Bryant, Sport Clips, Nails Club and Bath & Body Works. Hop over the driveway to another building starts with Party City, Payless Shoe Source, Five Below, Famous Footwear, Old Navy, Ross Store, Pet Smart, Northern Tools and K&G Fashion. There are 2 buildings in the front to house Chipotle, Mattress Firm and Visionworks in one and Brew Wings and Verizon Wireless in another. There are few vacancies. I hope they bring more restaurants here. Highway 290 construction is completed and traffic is getting much smoother than ever.

From facing the street, you got Mochinut aka Sul Bingsu and Chung Chun to the west corner next to jewelry store. Finally, you're going see MDK noodles before going to see the mural. The entire back wall is covered with beautiful mural designed by Local Artist Thomas Tran. It would take about 2 minutes to view the mural but you have to stand on the parking lot in Hmart side. The round around is all done. Now, let me search for a restaurant to rest my feet.

They have pretty good stuff in here, including some good food and some good desserts and whatnot. It's a nice little miniature part of a much larger part of Chinatown, and we generally have had good experiences here.

Few years ago, they finished construction the extension and added some new tenants. This mall is becoming the young people's paradise. There are adding Soju Blues, Dim Sum King and Nomi Nori that will crowd this parking lot every single day. I normally park at Sterling Plaza parking lot and walk over. Here is a quick glance at the mall, at the moment: Suite A - Soju Blues (Opening soon) Suite B1 - Okome Don Suite B - Dim Sum King (Under Construction) Suite C - Qi Ao Salon 奇奥 Suite D - Jasmine Asian Cuisine Suite E - Happy Lemon Suite F - San Dong Noodle House 山東麵館 Suite G - Nomi Nori (Opening soon) Suite H - Street Churros Suite I - R&B Tea Suite J - Honeymee Suite L - Sunright Tea Studio There are a couple more spaces vacant at Suite M and S. I hope to see some takeout restaurants or newspaper stand.

So it's a massive and awesome Plaza - one of many - but it definitely rivals the others as one of the better options for rent, and it's a great Plaza to explore for sure.

If it seems that people are staring at you in this plaza, don't take it personally... they're probably sterling at you rather than staring at you. Featuring H-Mart and so much more, this is one of the largest and most thriving plazas in Chinatown Houston which is one of the most thriving Chinatowns in the western world. It's not quite as intense and packed full of stuff as the massive Dun Huang complex across the street, but it more than holds its own in terms of bakeries, boba, and brilliant noms. Sterling is a wide-open, clean, and new-ish looking really lovely Plaza right across from DH, and seems to get somewhere between 50-75% of the business that DH gets, mostly for H Mart, 7 Leaves and 85 Degree Bakery, plus a lot of other less busy but sometimes even more brilliantr places, especially Mr Wish, which is one of the best boba shops in Texas, and probably the best fruit tea provider in the state. Another wonderful Boba shop here is Modern Tea, and Tea 4 U has some wonderful employees and owners, as well as the wonderful 85 Degree Bakery which is a chain but it's one of the best locations quality wise (if not always service wise), and open late, as well as the very popular 7 Leaves with some great employees and a really cute ice cream shop named Bae, imported from Los Angeles (first location outside Cali), and where a lot of hotties can be found (and coldies, ice cream wise), and some excellent restaurants as well - for example King Flavor and Sinh Sinh. I haven't yet seen it filled until 85C Bakery Cafe arrived at the southeast corner of the mall. There are 3 distinguished buildings: - 9896 Bellaire is facing the Boulevard and all suites are in alphabets. It starts from the left at Chengdu Taste and ends at Arco - 9888 Bellaire is on the east end with an L shape building. All suites are numeric. Starts at Tian Tian Lu Chuaner (suite 102) and ends at Uyghur Bistro (suite 168). - 9968 Bellaire is on west end as it runs to the end of property. Suites are also numeric starts with Hong Kong Seafood City (suite 100) and ends with Dragon Foot Relax (suite 250B). After my extensive research about Sterling Plaza, there were some connection about precious metals in its name. The first supermarket was called New Golden Supermarket (suite M). A couple hints are Golden Dumpling House (suite A) and Golden Beauty Salon (suite 115). I have to guess Sterling is silver. They compliment in many ways to represent prosperity. I dislike the numbering schematics. Hmart is Suite M. Taste of Chengdu is Suite A. I would never guessed Arco Seafood is Suite K. There's a secret passage behind Uyghur Bistro. If you are new in town, Viet Hoa Center is the place you want to be. It has everything people love…read more Start from the outskirts of the mall: Beer Club and Jin Korean BBQ to the left. LA Fisherman and Vietnamese herbalist to the right. Fronting the parking lot is Viet Hoa Supermarket. To the right, there are all sorts of Vietnamese snack shops, jewelry store, gift shop and Hot Pot City. Then, you look to the left, there are Six Ping Bakery, Tea Cup Cafe, De Viet Kitchen, dentist, shipping company and assorted insurance offices. Before the end of mall, you'll see Sun's Warehouse Club. Walk further, there are restaurants in a food court like restaurants near public restrooms. Make a right turn, there's a parking lot and few businesses. For some reason, this end of mall is very deserted. On the top of building says Beltway Plaza. Below the sign there's a Confucius statue. I believe both locations are managed by one leasing company. I frequently visit Paradise Water for water refills. Viet Hoa Center is also known for annual Lunar New Year festival - the largest festival of its kind in Houston Chinatown. There are many languages spoken here. Don't be a stranger. Come to taste this Little Saigon District.

It's well-paved, but a little difficult to get into, especially from the other side of the street. Barbi always looks really amazing when she's shopping here... obvi.
