I was told I could pay for the insurance and label and leave the item in the back to be packed later. Given the value and my responsibility for the item, I politely expressed that I was more comfortable having it packaged properly and sealed before leaving the store. To my surprise, this reasonable request seemed to be an issue. At no point was I being difficult--I was simply trying to ensure a high-value item was handled with care and accountability. For a business that handles shipping, I expected more understanding and professionalism, especially when it comes to valuable items. Unfortunately, the experience left me feeling uneasy and unsupported. i'm sharing my experience so that people who have valuables to ship can be forewarned regarding this location.

All of the businesses share a very large and free parking lot, and parking spaces are always easy to find. When I walked into the Office Depot store, I didn't see any employees at any of the registers at the front, nor did I see any in the Customer Service area. Lucky for me, the signage at the end of every aisle was accurate. When I saw the "Labels" sign, I quickly found the name tags. As I was walking toward the front of the store, an employee saw me and asked if I was finding everything alright, which was a great thing. As I got closer to the front of the store, I was confused as to which area I was supposed to go to to pay for the name tags. An employee in the Customer Service area asked me if I was ready to check out, and did so efficiently. The only issue that I have with this store is that the check out area where I was supposed to go is confusing. The store is clean and organized. Merchandise in all of the aisles, except for the ones against the walls, are easily in reach for most people.
