It looks clean and is clean. I had a egg bagel sandwich and my friend had the porridge. My egg sandwich was good, nothing special. The porridge however was great. Which is one of the reasons for the 4 stars. The other was the service. The lady helping us could not have been nicer. We also had fresh OJ. very good too. Good place to stop for a quick snack or breakfast. read more
Blanche Eatery has some decent salad offerings undermined by those from its cake section. On the positive side, I agree with Nathan: the salads here are good value and good quantity. My medium yet adequately sized salad contained six fresh and tasting servings from their salad bar, all for just £4.50 to-go. So much so, that I was primed to award the joint 4 stars. But: On the negative side, the slice of pistachio and avocado cake I had was disappointingly stale. Pimlico Fresh remains the go-to place in the area if you like your cake fresh and moist. Overall: okay. read more

Lovely little 'eatery' in Strutton Grounds. I first spotted this when I saw their stunning selection of cakes in the window - brownies, tasty cupcakes (proper ones - not the over-iced American style rubbish), cheesecakes. After going into pick up a brownie I then noticed their fresh, interesting selection of salads, along with a paring of salmon, 'tortilla' (Spanish Omelette) or their main of the day (chicken, meatballs etc.). Each time I've returned the food has always been excellent. I'm slightly hesitant to review this though as it's a small place and the queue is already growing at lunchtimes. There are a couple of small tables inside - but the setup is more suited to take-away service. In summary: a must for someone wanting a fresh tasty lunch - but don't get in my way :-) read more

I was being naughty, as I don't usually have cake for brunch but my friend treated me to a cup of tea and a slice of their their red velvet cake. It was absolutely lovely, not too sweet, but proper moist creamy cake.Just remember they have limited seating, so get there before 12:00 if you want to have a sit down and a natter. read more

Not for families. Visited a week ago. Pastry looks great but sandwiches and savories not spiced for young palates. Tiny venue means no easy way to get more than 4 people together to enjoy. Seems like its geared to coffee crowd and midweek lunch break deli style serving. read more
What a lovely hidden gem in Victoria. I highly recommend this place for lunch where you can get a pretty substantial salad box for under £5. It's a welcome antidote to the obligatory pret and eat which are bloody everywhere. I mean, I like Pret, but why do you have to have 3 stores in Victoria alone. It's pure greed I tell you. read more

History
Established in 2008.
The first Blanche Eatery store was opened in Hammersmith in 2008. We wanted to bring variety to peoples' day and prove that there's so much more to lunch than pre-packaged sandwiches! Blanche Eatery is all about the best coffee in the morning and great food throughout the day. It's still early days for us. We opened our Kensington and Victoria stores in 2011 and are heading further into London.
