Came here for a late lunch got seated very quickly. Orders the quest dip as an appetizer and the plate/bowl it came in was hotter than the actual queso dip but still really good had guacamole, pico de Gallo and sour cream on top of it. Still really good flavors so we kept it. I ordered the shrimp tacos which had good flavor however the shrimp to condiments ratio was terrible. The amount of shrimp was enough for really one bite. As you can see in the pictures the amount of cabbage and pico de Gallo on the taco. The rice had good flavoring however it was really wet and milky. I forgot our waitress name however she was kind and attentive. I swung by here to grab some food and unfortunately did not have a great experience at all. They said it was a 45 min wait even though there were several open tables but maybe they were understaffed. So I headed to the bar because there were some people leaving. I stood at the bar waiting for them to clean it off for 10 minutes minimum while someone stood there directly in front of me, completely ignored me and did not clean it. She then asked someone to clean the spot on the complete opposite side of the bar even though I was standing there in her face. So after being ignored I had to circle around to the other side since she very obviously had no intention to wipe down or remove the plates from where I was. After I finally sat down I then waited an additional 10+ minutes to have my order taken or to even get a water. But a woman came and sat down and was given a menu and her order taken within 2 minutes while I'm still sitting there staring at all of the girls at the bar ignore me once again. Horrible experience, horrible service, extremely unimpressed. The food was at least decent. I got the corn appetizer and the spicy mango ceviche. Both were flavorful and good and I liked the spice on the ceviche. Beware though it did not come with chips or anything. If it was supposed to it was not given to me so I had to then ask for chips and wait to receive them. We found this place thanks to Yelp reviews and decided to go check it out during our short stay in the Phoenix area. We arrived there at 3:00 on a Friday afternoon and basically had the whole place to ourselves. We were seated quickly and started on the chips and salsa. The salsa was probably the best I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. It tasted really fresh and just overall delicious! We ordered a nacho appetizer and we were all blown away with how good it was! The queso on there was amazing and we all commented on how we could have eaten that for our entree and been blissfully happy. We ordered the shrimp fajitas which everyone loved. The shrimp tacos had amazing flavor and the Mahi tacos were some of the best tacos we have ever had. They were seriously amazing!! I also had the sweet potato bowl which I really loved and had great flavor. We loved this place so much that we decided to go back the next day for lunch, and we loved it just as much! Went for the first time last night. Got there around six to beat the dinner crowd. Once my date and I were seated,I ordered a Pineapple/Jalapeno margarita and waited over 10 minutes to get my drink. Didn't taste any pineapple in the the drink, just a really sour margarita. We had to ask our server to bring us chips and salsa, I guess he forgot this wasn't on our table when he took our orders. They have changed the way they make the short ribs, they have added tomato (canned) and spices to the meat. It was (WAS!) perfect the way it used to be. It's the same if you were to walk into three unlabeled fast food chains, you'd know IMMEDIATELY which one was Chick -filet or In and Out over McDonalds or Burger King. You can feel it. There's a significant amount of pride and ownership that goes into these brands and it is obvious. Fox also owns NORTH (my favorite restaurant) along with four or five other restaurants that I have been dedicated to for years. I knew Fox Concepts was top notch when after purchasing several other restaurants who carried pepsi products- (yuck! cheap and gross) they swtiched to COKE products.They are opening one in Coronado soon. I'd eaten at the Scottsdale location of Blanco during the pandemic and wasn't super impressed. Perhaps some of the weirdness was related to the challenge of those times. I am glad that I went to Blanco Biltmore. First off, this location is stunning. The blue wallpaper immediately gives you a feeling of calm. The weather was so nice that I almost sat outside but the vibe inside was buzzy so I opted for that. One thing I have to praise is salsa that comes with the chips. It is SO hard to find real salsa sometimes. Blanco has it. Visually appealing and with a kick (not too spicy). This isn't an extensive menu. Tacos are the main feature but we opted for the fajitas. We got both the shrimp and chicken. I love the small tortillas that they are served with. Big tortillas are often a waste because you can only have a bite anyway. The shrimp were perfectly seasoned. The problem is that you obviously aren't going to get a ton of shrimp so you end up with a ton of veggies. It's almost more like vegetarian fajitas. On the other hand, the chicken fajitas were amazing. Perfect portion size and the orange sauce drizzled on top makes a good choice for Instagram. I will 100% order these next time! We also went for dessert. The Mexican chocolate cake is worth the calories. It's rich but it goes down so nicely. I am so glad I went for it. Service is efficient, even though they're slammed most of the time. I also discovered that they have a private event space in the basement. (Who knew there was a basement?!). It can hold up to 100 guests. Seems like a great spot for an event! On the topic of the basement, it is a bummer that the restrooms are down there. Our server was friendly but missing for the majority of the meal, we spent most of our time waiting for refills. The food was delicious, can't knock them there! I really enjoyed my grilled avocado tacos and my spouse liked his short rib cheese crisp. The margarita was well balanced in flavor. Honestly, if the server had checked on us more and we hadn't had to flag folks down for refills, this would've been a 5 star experience. I am very upset to report that my husband and I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Blanco in Biltmore shopping center. We were told this was a must try place and we were told right. Made it in for Happy Hour so we were able to get the dips trio; Queso, Beans and the Guacamole, all were strong. Came in for dinner tonight. The place is pretty big and cute, has that rustic chic vibe. We were seated right away. It took a while for the server to get to us and overall the service was very slow. Huge bowl of chips and salsa for the table- the chips were fine but the salsa tasted like something you would get out of a bottle. It mainly just tasted like tomato. Amazing visit to another Fox Concepts restaurant. Decided to use the 25% off for Memorial Day email discount - which is an amazing way to try a new place. My husband and I love Mexican food and just have not got around to trying this place out. The indoor seating at the booths had a bit of a draft, so we ended up going with hot entrees. I ordered the cheese enchilada which was spot on amazingness! If you love melted cheese this dish is a dream come true. I went with the beans (charro) but substituted out the rice for the street corn ($2 more but so worth it). You can choose to substitute out either the rice or the beans. My husband ordered the tortilla soup which he enjoyed but found spicy. He ordered the street corn appetizer (it's the same size as the side on an entree). We also asked for limes from our waiter which we think is a must for the corn! Nachos and a red salsa come complimentary to the table which are tasty. Went here this past weekend with a friend of mine. We were immediately seated and the server came by to get drink orders. As it was our first time here, we were still deciding on what to order for food. The server had to come back 2x to get our order, which they seemed annoyed about. Service on the whole was, eh. They came by to get our order, brought food, and refilled my water once a few minutes into our meal. My glass remained empty the rest of the time. And I had to ask for another bowl of chips when our meal was delivered. We ordered guac, which came out before our meal. But yeah, had to ask for more chips as the chips that initially came to the table when they bring by salsa were mostly crumbs after you got 1/4 of the way through the bowl. They seemed annoyed again with the request. Food though was tasty. In addition to the guac, I ordered the bbq tacos. They were more like street tacos size than regular soft taco size. I may return to try to short rib dish, but definitely would hope for better service. read more

The chips were okay and the salsa was good. The guacamole was extremely salty and disappointing. The sangria my wife ordered was watered down and bland.
