We were placed in the Asian inspired area, while they have a locomotive/train and underwater one as well. We went pretty close to when they opened so the services was incredible fast and servers were attentive and interacted with us a lot. They were still setting up as the barista, had to grab supplies to curate our drinks. The drinks were very unique, and used specialty ingredients like pandan, coconut, pickled mango.

We were a little early for our Platform 18 reservation, so we decided to stop by Grey Hen for a drink. I've heard that Grey Hen changes their theme almost every year, and when I visited, the theme was Mexican-inspired. The decor was really fun, and they even had the spirit animal from Coco. (May mama Coco rest in peace) The cocktails were solid overall, and I was happy to see a couple of mezcal options on the menu. That said, the drinks are definitely on the pricier side. After tax and tip, each cocktail came out to around $20-$30. Still, it's a fun spot to check out, especially if you're already visiting Century Grand and want to experience one of their rotating themes.

Yes they have tastings. We met the store manager who showed us some new things and the bf walked out with some new bourbon bottles. The sit down restaurant area has a bar area and sit down dining space. The food/ pizza here is also really yummy. I've had the mushroom pizza which is my favorite but the prosciutto pizza with fig jam is also very good. We appreciate how helpful & friendly the staff is. We'll definitely be back!

I don't know why it's so popular it's not the best pizza but not bad either. Cocktails delicious what a selection! Bartender didn't know what beer she had luckily a PATRON AT THE BAR HELPED HER. Well my husband is allergic to nuts and wanted the charcuterie to share. Server said we can't do it because the chefs don't wash their cutting tools between meats and there is mortadella. I don't understand this why aren't you washing your utensils??? Or why can't you? Is it so hard? Mortadella is disgusting anyway it's bologna. Better with Proscuitto. SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST! The veuve bottle was like $80 what a steal!!

Instead of coming alone, I've brought coworkers/friends here for happy hour after work. Happy hour - weekdays 3-6pm $3 slices of cheese or pepperoni pizza $3 beer $4 tacos $10 cocktails $10 wine glasses $10 small plates Each time, I've ordered the Kokumotsu - haku vodka, lemon liqueur, pandan coco crème, cherring herring, pineapple, orange. The drink's ingredients sound a bit weird together, but TRUST ME it is so refreshing and has quickly become one of my most favorite creative, original cocktails ever! Their NY-style thin pizzas also don't miss. I've tried the pepperoni (red sauce, cheese blend, pepperoni, dried oregano) and Roycerroni (pizza sauce, cheese blend, cup & crisp pepperonis, calabrian chiles, honey, ricotta, basil). Chef's kiss! Absolutely love The Starving Artist, and it has quickly become one of my favorite places to drink in Phoenix. During weekday evenings it's pretty chill, but on weekends, it gets pretty packed and lively. Bonus points that they have all of their menus uploaded conveniently on their website, which you don't see often with cocktail lounges! https://www.starvingartistaz.com/

I also got to try the strawberry fernet and Anna's play on a daiquiri and her exquisite bramble shot. Everything was thoughtful- balanced and above and beyond in the flavor department. It's nice to see this bar crank on a busy Saturday. I cannot wait to be back and try more cocktails. We also tried the Sashimi Don, if I remember the name correctly, and that was really good too. Atmosphere: The decor is not the stereotypical Japanese style you might expect. It feels very modern while still incorporating lots of Japanese elements. Even the restroom is beautifully designed. One thing that really stood out to me was that each stall had an audiobook playing inside. Such an interesting and memorable touch. Food: We loved the steak tartar--highly recommend! We also loved the short rib skewers--no business being that good. We did order the gyoza...they were good but did not compare with the other starters. I ordered the miso salmon. It was perfectly cooked. Slightly salty but good. My husband ordered the porterhouse steak and everyone at the table got a piece and were in love. That steak was heavenly. My sister in law and friend both ordered the filet mignon and both really enjoyed their steaks. For sides we ordered the potatoes and Brussels and I highly recommend you order those for your sides if you go. The potatoes are ridiculously good. We ended on some desert, although I was too full, my husband got the chocolate cheesecake and my SIL got the sticky cake. Her sticky cake was recommended by our waiter and it was the better dessert choice. Cocktails were good. The ambiance was amazing. Service was excellent. We will definitely be back!
