I have been twice now because a local ceramics artist from Jacksonville Pottery Studio (right down the road from this market) sells her pottery there and she specializes in Hobbit Door inspired arts. I now have a door mug (yellow to match my front door) and a door planter I picked up yesterday as well as a little corked bottle! Jess from @insearchof.ceramics is my inspiration to attend, even with thunderstorms threatening! Besides several local pottery tables, there are clothing booths, jewelry, soaps, candles, food trucks, CBD and more! Great little monthly pop up to check out and support a small and upstarting business! That and get to know Murray Hill a little better! I especially love that it is in the evenings- because summer months are just too hot!

It usually takes place on Sundays from 4--8pm. They've gone through many changes since its inception and now it runs like a well oiled machine. Vendors galore. More-so, unique vendors! Jewelry, small batch honey, post cards, t-shirts, balloon installations, massages, leather hand bags, etc. There's always something new and shiny that catches the eye. Some vendors are repeats, but you can usually expect a few you've never come across before. I love that Vagabond stays open throughout the event. Nothing better than strolling while sipping delicious coffee. I think one should have the mindset that it is a small market, so if you're not serious about buying anything you'll probably run through it rather quickly. Give or take 25 vendors if I had to guess. Vagabond Flea is the epitome of supporting local. Check out the talented makers who don't have their own storefronts. This is their chance to interact with the community and make some money!

The Bayard Antique Village is a combination of small houses and a large barn that has different…read morevintage and antique items along with art. Some of the houses had really nice collectibles and items. The main reason for three star rating has to do with the fact that many of those houses were closed and the barn located in the center of the village left a lot to be desired. The barn is hot, its floor is not secure and there are old fans inside that just seem dangerous. This really has to be fixed up and refurbished before this barn can be used properly. You can find a good value here. There are quite a few vendors, some wanted to haggle which I had not seen at other vintage shops. The village just needs to be coordinated and organized better. There are some very good vendors but there is a huge drop off as well. When the village is open, all of the vendors should be available.

I will first start out with her customer service because she asked us what we were looking for and I explained to her what I wanted and she said you need to see Winifred , which happened to be passing by. Patti explained what we were looking for and Winifred said she felt she had the right thing and she was correct. Immediately, after months of looking, I found exactly what I was looking for. Now comes to fear. What was the cost going to be and I was amazed at how reasonable it was plus everything was 10% off this weekend! I was beyond thrilled that Patti introduced us to her and that both women took an active interest in what our needs were as the customer. I then went back and bought a piece of artwork from Patti. That is going to be ideal in my home office! She has bright vivid color artwork that is a must have. Again her costs were very reasonable. This is somewhere I definitely will be returning

The staff were also extremely attentive and informative. In my opinion, this is the best vintage location in and around Jacksonville to find quality vinyl and at a great price. This latest visit I grabbed some fun enamel pins, a pair of cats socks & a couple of small goblet style sippers, wheel thrown- I loved them! I'm always picking up pottery to see if it's mass produced or handmade (I can usually tell, but some trick me). This shop has a very eclectic style, the booths vary in items and some things throughout the shop are new and handmade. Like the pins and socks I picked up were both new, not vintage. Later I had someone resurfacing a bathtub and they didn't seal the vents. It caused a mist of paint to get on a very nice Ethan Allen bedroom set. Kelly's had to redo the headboard, footboard, dresser, chest & nightstands to get the mist of paint off. It was a lot of work and a reasonable price for the extensive job. It's a great place to have quality work done.
