I used to come here about once a month when I lived in AZ. One of the better truly touchless carwashes if you're concerned about scratching. This year it seems they've made improvements - the arm moves a lot more to ensure the front and back get really clean. I wish the air dryer lasted about 15 seconds longer but it's close enough and if you care you can stop and towel off. Vacuums are convenient. Self service stalls never seem too crowded. read more

Wish I'd read the reviews. Went on May 28th. Mesa, AZ The machine refused my card so I went to the next stall. Was in a hurry and just did a quick rinse off of dirt. Was $2 or $3. My credit card statement shows $15.60! I tried their website and it looks like a Chinese Game site. I called and there was no answer, no greeting to identify the company. Just got back and Blast Off has an amazing brushless touchless washing system so nothing can scratch your paint. Also the blower once you exit does a great job, you get 60 secs of high powered air. The area was clean and they take cash or you can scan your card. The washes range from $5 for the basic up to $10 for everything, I got the $10. FYi, you don't get cash back you get their tokens. read more

Finally found a brushless car wash!!! Very reasonable cost, I went with the $7 wash and I thought it did a good job for a drive through brushless car wash, much easier and quicker than doing it myself when I'm in a hurry. Not sure what's up with all the overly negative reviews. Yeah this place is exactly what you think when you drive by. It is a self-serve car wash. Really the only thing worth spending money on is the wash yourself section with brushes and power sprayers. If you dare to do this consider the guys in NASCAR pit stop racing the clock before your time runs out. I am only here to vacuum my car at 10pm and none of the nicer car washes are open. ***THE VACUUMS TOTALLY SUCK!!!*** I'll be coming here to pay to use their vacuums from now on. This is brushless so it doesn't get the bugs or stuck-on dirt very well. It also doesn't move your car through automatically, you basically just pull in and it hoses your car off. I could do that at home for free. Vacuums are extra (coin-operated) instead of free like most car washes (even the $3 wash on McKellips has free vacuums). Lastly, the lowest priced wash doesn't include the air-dry (again, the $3 was on McKellips has air-dry without an extra charge). read more

As Chris M. stated, this place overcharges and indeed a $10 charge appeared on the credit card for a six dollar wash. Further, the automatic wash did not even remove the dust spots on the hood. As a self-serve car wash, there are no employees on premises. Therefore, buyer beware! Anyway, I've already found a much better place, with excellent customer service, and considerably less expensive too! Otherwise, Blast Off offers nothing more than your standard high pressure wand car wash with a "Touch Less" automatic drive thru that charges your credit card extra $$$. My suggestion, just keep driving, there are much better options in every cardinal direction not far away. read more
