Visited on our way back home from Florida on 2/12/23. The reason we always try to stop at a blaze is for the consistency the brand offers no matter the location. I will say this location delivers the same quality that I expect from the brand. We were the first customers of the day in our visit but when we got there the staff had everything out and ready to serve. The two girls that waited on us were polite, attentive and did an excellent job making us feel like a valued customer. The pizza was great and the salads were excellent as well. Overall a pleasant lunch on our way back to the house, would definitely stop by again on our next trip south. read more

Ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, cinnamon bread, a brookie, and the flatbread because it was a dollar, no wonder it was a dollar it was just a tortilla. The pizza was like eating rubber, and the crust was a little burnt. The cinnamon bread, there was 4 pieces just basically missing because they were so burnt that the middle of those pieces were just gone. The brookie was delicious but I ordered a s'mores pie and they were out so they gave me that instead, not their fault. The service was good, very nice people, but the place wasn't great. The windows looked steamed up and dirty. The only good thing I have to say about this place are the crew and fast service. But the food was not good at all. Blaze is always fun for pizza night. You create your own personal pizza. Or 1/2 if you aren't a big eater.... I had the original. Red sauce. Fresh mozzarella, ricotta. Spinach mushrooms drizzle of oil and basalmic vinegar. I also had a side salad and vinaigrette dressing. It was all fresh and delicious. The line is a little slow. So be patient. read more

I love Blaze and was happy to find one here in Valdosta. As usual, the pizza toppings are unlimited and appear very fresh. The pizza tasted amazing and I love that the food is ready so fast. The restaurant is very clean and quiet...nobody is talking because they're so busy enjoying the yumminess! I finally signed up for the app and had my barcode scanned, but the points are still not showing up. I spoke with the manager and he politely told me that my points should show up later. I'll change this review to five stars once the points show up. I bought four pizzas, as I usually do, so the points should add up fast. read more

The atmosphere was really nice. The service was great. They were really helpful on the toppings and sauces and how to fix our pizza. I wasn't a big fan on the flavor and options. The bread was chewy and it looked like Little Caesars pizza after it has cooled off.. but just when blaze pizza comes out. The flavor is bland and not enticing. I was blown away at how many gluten free and vegan options there were! The staff was so friendly and accommodating, and even changed gloves between handling my pizza and the regular ones. I was super excited to see Valdosta getting a Blaze. They do not disappoint and we've come in three times already in the past week weeks!!. It's very spacious with very friendly staff to greet you walking in. I get the gluten or cauliflower crust out of personal preference and I always appreciate when the staff ask if they need to do glove changes due to allergies (pretty sure it's a company policy because the Blaze in Gainesville does the same thing). Haven't gotten tired of this place yet and this will definitely be my go to spot when I'm craving something quick and delicious. read more

So I do want to start by saying that the food is really good, so good in fact that I've been three times this past week. But logistically, there are some things that need to be said before you visit. I have a four-year-old daughter who loves pizza, and she loves Blaze pizza. But, the pizza is cooked in a huge oven and comes out piping hot. They call your name to come and retrieve your hot plate, which was what the pizza was cooking upon. I usually split a pizza with my four-year-old and put her cut-up pizza pieces on a plate for her to eat. Well, the cutlery that is available to guests could hardly cut cold butter, let alone a pizza. When we asked for an extra plate for our daughter to eat from, we were given just a metal pizza plate that is used for cooking the pizza. When he asked for a liner to go onto the pizza plate, they told him to go and ask the starting point of the prep line. At this point, I got involved because there were at least 10 employees behind the counter that could have grabbed a liner for him, but they told him to go wait in the ordering line to ask for one. With this location being so new to Valdosta, you can tell the employees are still learning. The first two times I went, there were a couple issues due to this inexperience. However, it really didn't negatively affect my overall experience and make me not want to return, because on my third visit, everything was perfect! Only 3 meat toppings available since opening, and only 2 employees working the production line, not consistent with Blaze pizza operations at Gainesville, FL or Jacksonville FL. Long wait time, 40 minutes from ordering to receiving pizza. Multiple employees on break at same time. Terrible customer service, head coverings not worn, overflowing trash, lids out of stock, staff drinks 6 inches from the bulk dough being weighed out for individual servings, employees obtaining drinks and drinking then going back to work without washing hands. Tried reaching corporate and the local owner prior to posting review to avoid publicly noting food safety concerns and can't get a return phone call or email from either. I've eaten there twice this week, the pizza is super fresh and so are all the ingredients. It isn't traditional New York or Chicago...so don't expect that. You want a pizza made by an Italian? The pizza maker worked hard flipping the dough to send his kid to college and now the kid is sitting in a shared apartment with an MBA working in an Amazon factory. The pizza makers are dying and this streamlined process is what we are left with... but hey...it is BY FAR the freshest and best tasting pizza in Valdosta. I usually wouldn't go twice in a week, but I did because the staff was great. They looked to all like each other a lot and really make do as a team in their positions as customer service slaves. It isn't easy working in the food industry, much less being the ones that have to make the food and get it to you perfectly...OR ELSE!!! All those employees looked like people that wouldn't work there long... because they all looked competent and good natured. My pizza was amazing both times. The one time I sat in there, I watched and kind of laughed at how the manager made this extra effort to make sure everyone was greeted upon walking through the door as well as when they left. Not a single Valdosta soul responded to her greeting. They just strolled in like grazing cows toward the ordering zone. Sometimes she looked a little hurt, others she laughed it off. It was funny and sad at the same time watching everyone treat this woman like a brick wall. She never let her Grace slip though, not once. Be kind to those who Serve. And if you want some more authentic Italian pizza, get angry at all those lazy pizzeria dads who failed at rasing a kid that could make a good pizza for your family for dinner. Excellent pizza. Our family has been to the Valdosta Blaze Pizza 3 times since opening with the hope of enjoying the quality Pizza we have had at other locations in the region. Sadly, Valdosta has fallen short. The staff seems unable to work together and provide a quality product. Unmanned cash registers, orders backing up, and overly familiar/unprofessional dialogue have been staples of the eatery since opening. Everyone in the community was excited about Blaze coming to Valdosta, so it's truly disappointing. We will continue to give Blaze our money...when we travel to Jacksonville. read more

Have eaten here before and enjoy the food but ever since the opening it's been downhill. The service has seemed to get slower and worse with every trip. It seems employees lack urgency and motivation to help customers. This time we placed a take out order 50 minutes in advance and when we arrived the pizza was still not even being prepared. At this time there wasn't a single patron in the establishment making it seem as if the don't care about being punctual or productive. I think the employees move as slowly as possible. It seems to actually take work to move slow as these folks do but they seem to pull it off. I don't know if there is a manager there but if there is the manager has to be ok with it. If there is nobody in line you will get a decent pizza. I wish I could give this restaurant 0 stars. Tonight my husband and I decided we wanted something sweet after dinner. My husband walked in, no greeting. He stood at the register because we only wanted cookies. All the workers placed back and continued their conversation. One of the female workers asked if he needed anything, my husband said yes, just cookies. The worker turned her head and continued doing what she was doing. My husband is just awkwardly standing there and we felt as if we were in the twilight zone. After another minute or two we just walked off. WORST customer service ever. After being over seas 7 years this was a disappointment and Im not expecting to be treated any different because of military status. It was our first time at this pizza place in Valdosta and it will definitely be the last. If the manager happens to read this "You need to fire every last one of those little shits that worked 6/4/2022 closing shift". I will never spend a dollar here EVER just because of that. read more
