I think this is the best pizza place in Valdosta. Obviously that might not be saying much when compared to larger metro areas. But it is a solid choice when you don't feel like dealing with the traditional Big 3 chains. Service has always been great, and the prices are usually decent when using a coupon. Sorry to say I am from New York and there pizza sucks to greasy and they clam that have a New York pizza. No they dont the sauce is blane there crust is to thin. And they charge to much. They can't even cut there New York pizza right you have some thick slices and then thin. Not how we do it in New York. Everyone in the South think they can do what New York does. Today was a huge disappointment in ordering from my family's favorite pizza place. We have been going here ever since they opened and ordering at least once a week since then. We had an issue come up where we did not have our normal discount card present which we use all the time and is noted on the account. We had our dad send a picture of the card without even a doubt that they would be okay with that since it's on our account that we have the card but to our surprise they denied us from being able to use it. The discount card is for a free $6.99 cheese bread. $6.99...... over all the money we have spent there and our bill was already $50 they couldn't have the decency to honor the card even just as a one time courtesy? Excuse me Sarah the manager who was on staff that day refused. She was very rude to my mom and told her "she just could not do it." What manager cannot override $7 dollars. At the end of day, We don't care about the money because it's usually our favorite pizza place but it's the fact of how awful of customer service that is and to not even be nice about it was so uncalled for. This was truly a disappointing experience to have and I'm still very shocked that we were treated so unfairly over $7. I really do hope that Marcos will be willing to make up for that in the future because it really upset our family to be treated that way and that's just not the Marcos Pizza we usually love. read more

Unfortunately Marcos seems to be going downhill on service recently. I ordered for delivery this evening and when my order arrived after a rather long time the food was no longer very hot and had to be warmed. Also, there was one item missing plus all the sauces ordered to go with the meal. I called and was told the missing food would be delivered in about 40 minutes I called over an hour later and was told the driver had come and rung my door bell and called on my phone. I was in the house near the door and phone and heard nothing. I will be credited with the missing item but the evening was ruined by the service. And this is the second time a long delivery has meant rather cold food. read more

We had a long day of driving. Wanted something quick and easy. Pizza, of course, no burgers tonight. What a fabulous surprise! The pizza is so good. Crunchy, chewy crust, delicious sauce, but not overwhelming or drippy. Two kinds of pepperoni, with Romano, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese. I have had the Grilled Chicken Florentine twice recently and it was excellent. I ordered on Saturday night, 10/28/2023 and it was unacceptable. It had no chicken on it, no feta cheese, and only a few very small green flecks of spinach. I did not want to leave a negative review and preferred to contact management discreetly. However, in researching the website, there is no phone or email contact listed. I would not call the restaurant as the only people there are young kids. Management is obviously not interested in hearing from customers. Too bad as I think the food is excellent when properly prepared, but suffers due to the lack of competent employees. Driving from Atlanta to Orlando we spent the night in Valdosta. While diving we called ahead and ordered a Garden Pizza (adding to it grilled chicken) and a garden salad. Pick up was at their drive through window 20 minutes later. Both the pizza and salad were delicious. The salad greens were crisp and fresh as were the toppings: tomatoes, onions, cheese, etc. it was a large salad - plenty for 2 to share. The pizza was amazing. For my first time going I was not greeted when I came in so I said hey to the first person I saw and she was walking behind the counter on her phone. I said hey and she just looked at me. The cashier then stood up from the bottom of the counter and greeted me. Short and sweet. The pizza is good but the service is very bad. I ordered an extra large pizza for carry out. When I arrived, it was actually just a large. I noted the discrepancy and the manager's response was merely "well, that's what I heard." No apology, no offer to make it right. I had to have an extra large for a gathering, so I was forced to wait 25 minutes for the correct order but, again, with no discount and no apology. I placed an online order mid-afternoon and then called at 5:00 pm to make sure the order was received. I had asked for delivery at 6:45 pm. At 7:05 I called and an employee said that the computer said that the pizza had been delivered. I told her I had not received it AND it was a cash order, so it had never been paid for. She promised to call the driver and immediately call me back. Ten minutes later, no information. I called and asked for a manager. At about 7:30 I finally was told a mistake was made and that they would have to put in another order and have it delivered. At that point, we were not willing to wait that long for dinner, so we declined. The manager's response was, "I'm sorry your experience was not what you wanted it to be". NOT- "I'm sorry we made a mistake" or "What can we do to get your business back". Needless to say, we won't order again. read more

I love Marco's pizza. I have gone there many times before, and always had great service and food. The food was great like always, but the service was just plain rude. We walked in 40 minutes before they closed. We were the only customers there. Angelica took our order, and then tells us that they are about to close. Being a waitress myself, rushing customers is a huge no-no. Half of the time we were eating, she was watching us like a hawk. I don't know about anyone else, but for me, it's super weird to be watched while you're trying to eat. The other half, her and a couple of other staff members were talking about us. Best pizza in a 100 mile radius! Zack, the manager is very customer oriented and takes the time to meet and greet all customers. Only pizza in town where you can get anchovies (my personal preference). There are tv monitors at every booth - seating is limited though, but there is a party room and this location has a drive thru as well. You can sign up for their weekly & daily special emails too. Pizza is really good and it is close to Stone Creek so it has become our go to pizza place bc we can pick it up quicker than delivery. They have a meatball bake for those watching carbs. Only 4 stars bc they stopped making my favorite pizza the a Southern Philly!
