We were on a Letterkenny theme date night so we bought tickets for a OKC Warriors vs Shreveport Mudbugs hockey game. I'm not even a sports fan but it was so fun! Parking and entry were super easy, the bar was small but had all the cold beer & spiked hot chocolate we wanted. Concessions were quick and great (we had hot pretzels & cheese, a lot of people were ordering pizza). The staff, the "regulars," ALL the people were super friendly. It was such a chill, welcoming place. I didn't know what temperature to expect, I was fine in two layers but next time I'll bring gloves & beer koozies. The only snag was it was really hard to find our seats, there are no ushers and not much signage. But once you figure it out you don't need signs. Overall we had an awesome time, the ice center is a fantastic spot to watch hockey, and we can't wait to come back! read more

Nice ice rink with pro shop and blade sharpening. The young man who sharpened my blades did an amazing job and he was pleasant and helpful. Nice folks and not too crowded during public skate- this was in March; not sure about summer. Some snack machines and large clean bathrooms. Rental skates are pretty bad. We were told that the sharping machine for rental blades was broken. I don't understand why this is not a priority because then current rentals have zero outside/inside edges and this is just plain dangerous. I'd hate to see this great venue shut down due to a bad injury because of skates. Oklahoma City is lucky to have this. I'd visit again. I do wish they had a deal for coming 3+x a week instead of just the daily rate. read more

i went to this rink with a LOT of people there and a huge line yet somehow the rink was somehow big enough for everyone to have plenty of space to skate!! i would absolutely recommend going if you can, and definitely bring a jacket! read more

This ice arena is the truth! Not only is the rink hockey regulation size, but they feature a real hockey equipment store inside. Also, if you bring your own skates, you only pay $7 admission fee (I've been to some places that charge full price regardless if you rent skates or not). Speaking of rental skates, this place offers both hockey and figure skates, in case you hate the fake plastic skates that pinch your feet like I do. Whenever I'm in Oklahoma, this is the place I go to shred some ice. Definitely a great place to take the kids if you're looking for a fun physical activity. Oh yes...they have free WiFi as well. Built and named after the re generation of the Oklahoma City Blazers in late 1990's to provide skating opportunities for the metro area as well as provide lessons for ice hockey, figure skating and a place for the OKC Blazers to practice when their "home" ice wasn't available. I have skated here and as I have my own ice skates I can't tell you about the quality of the rentals, but they look more substantial than rentals were back in the old days. There is an area with seating if you just want to watch a hockey game or your kids skate. They recently added plastic seats on the concrete stands so you're not setting on cold concrete, but cold plastic. They have a video game area, a snack bar with a pretty good selection of things to eat and drink and a really nice staff. They do have an in house equipment store for any gear any kind of skater would need. They have rooms you can rent for parties and several different party plans to choose from. They offer ice skating lessons during the day and evening. Public skating is pretty much every day. I like it when school is in session, less kids who skate better and faster than this not young anymore person. They have theme skates during holidays and midnight skates, etc. The University of Oklahoma Ice Hockey team and the OKC Jr. Blazers, WSHL hockey team both play and practice at Blazers Ice Centre so usually on Friday and Saturday nights from October through December you can catch a hockey game. The most important thing is to remember that you are in a building where it important for it to be cold so the ice won't melt so dress accordingly. Dress warm, it is cold, but it's a fun place that is decorated with the tradition of hockey and ice skating in Oklahoma City. read more

We went here for a birthday party and had a great time. It was my 6 year olds first time skating. You have to pay $2 extra to use the skating walker. I didn't mind paying but the process wasn't communicated very well and there were a number of people who were using it without paying. Frustrating when we went back out on the ice and couldn't find a walker. We loved it and plan on visiting again. My daughter enjoyed it. I did too. People on the ice were very friendly and helpful. Don't bother trying to order anything from the Pro Shop...I tried to get a size skate they didn't have and 2+ months later, I never got a call telling me they were in. I called numerous times during this timeframe trying to figure out if my skates were in and there is only one person there that can help you with that. They were absolutely terrible about returning phone calls, even after their manager got involved. Take your business to Hockey Monkey in TX, if you are down there. They have a MUCH BETTER SELECTION and they have MUCH BETTER customer service. read more

My daughters are homeschooled, I was looking for ways they can get more physical activity. I was pleased to find out Blazers have an 8-week skating lesson during the daytime, it works out great with our schedule. That also includes 2.5 hour free skate immediately after & they get a pair of ice skates! My girls love it there & they love their instructor! They also have hockey leagues, child & adult , & open skate times 7 days a week. I even got on skates with them! Yikes! read more

The ice rink was nice and clean and there were only four people in the whole place. The staff were very friendly but about half way through a very large group of rude teenage boys showed up. They were helping set up seats so I assume they work there but next time it might be better if they didn't harass the people trying to have a good time. read more

We had a double birthday party for our two girls here. The staff was easy to work with and very courteous. The party room is a good size and even accommodated our huge party. The price was reasonable and we were given a special pricing for skaters over the party number of 15. Table cloths, and paper goods were provided and were even in the color scheme of our party theme (Frozen). The room was set up by the staff prior to our arrival, so there was very little work for us. Pizza was included and we were able to order extras. I would recommend it for anyone wanting an ice skating party. Although the rink area is cold, the party room is nice and warm. They had plenty of little kid skates too! read more

The skating equipment here is horrendous or non-existent. My daughter is 8 years old and actively progressing through the learn to skate program in Arizona. She wanted some ice time while we are here on vacation and we were both sorely disappointed. She is 8 years old and a size 2 in shoes. They had one pair of size 2 skates with no toe pick. The boot was made of what I can only describe as rain boot rubber and the shoe laces were so ratted and knotted I couldn't eve tie them. My very capable daughter got out on the ice and hung onto the wall because the skates were so pathetic she couldn't even stand in the ice. My skates were at least the right size but incredibly worn out and the blades were so dull I could barely stay standing. After one lousy lap we went to the counter to return the skates and get a refund. The counter rarely had an attendant so after waiting and searching we were told there are no refunds. I gave this one star instead of zero because the eye-rolling, head-shaking, sighing, huffing lady behind the counter agreed to give us a refund. Save yourself the trouble, but if you decide to go and use their terrible rental skates even after reading this, just realize you're probably a much better skater than what you experience on their junk. read more
