I interviewed several companies, Anderson, Pella and more. Upon meeting John, one of the owners, I immediately felt conformable. There was no high pressure, never ending talking like the other companies did. He took me through product choices, the various price points and made great suggestions! The unique thing with this company, they are working with the best window companies in the business. Anderson, Bella, Harvey, others. They have access to all those lines. I found that refreshing. When you talk to Anderson sales people, they're selling you only Anderson windows With Windows Solutions Plus, they are suggesting the best line and the best quality for your specific home. I selected Harvey Windows, top vinyl line, based on John's suggestion and the price point. Deposit given, order was placed. Withing 6 weeks , I received notice the windows are ready for install and we booked an install, a few weeks out. The install was Thurs ( 1/24/24) The installers were great. They arrived exactly on time, Spoke well, understandable and polite. They first spent time lining the home with drop cloth , covering near by furnture with plastic. It made me comfortable that they respected my property. Then, the removal of the old windows. Very little noise and very little dust or debris. After that came the install of the windows. It was seamless, everything fit perfectly. Then, the trim work and finish trim. This is where I feel high quality carpenters are needed for a good install The team at Window Solution Plus, has great carpentry skills. The trim work both inside and outside look terrific. Spot on. The next stage was cleanup. It wasn't a 15 minute rush job. Instead, it was a well executed professional job, lasting over 1 hour. Vacuuming, dusting inside. Actually washing certain areas of the floor. Then the coup de grace, they go around the property near the outside of windows and pick-up debris by hand, then vacuum. When they leave , the inside and outside is perfect. Like they were never in my home My wife and I couldn't be more happy with our windows and this company I will hire them again in the near future and highly recommend you do the same. I rarely write reviews but in this instance I'm compelled to do so. We had Wainscot Solutions do…read morethe cathedral ceiling in our living room - the appearance of the room was completely changed, unbelievably! Talk about a "wow" factor - it turned out absolutely stunning. It wasn't that the room was ugly or anything - but it just didn't render itself to comfortable living. Plus the ceiling was popcorn textured. For years we didn't use it much except for a few hours during holidays because it seemed too cold and impersonal, without much character. We tried different wallpapers, different paint colors and even different styles of curtains/drapes - without much luck. But Michael transformed it. His eye to design is like an artist and his attention to meticulous measurement detail is like a laser beam. Within a short period of time he presented us with alternate designs and discussed merits of each. Best of all we DIDN'T HAVE TO REMOVE the popcorn texture - the installation of the wainscoting went right over it. His craftsmen fabricated the wainscoting at his shop and it was brought to the house in large pieces, ready to install. Scaffolding was erected on the wood floor (without a scratch) and the transformation began. The installation by his finish carpenters went without a hitch or surprise and all the pieces joined together perfectly without gaps - no sanding or cutting in the house was needed because of his attention to detail at the design and shop stages. The painters we used to finish the project were very impressed that they literally had to do almost no sanding before painting. This turned out to be, singularly, my best investment this year. We now use the room ALL the time. It looks not unlike an English Study or den and is so very warm and comfortable to be in. It just gives an incredible good feeling to be in. Your eyes can't help but go to the ceiling and enjoy the detail. The room opens up from the foyer and everyone who comes in the house seems to want to look into the room in admiration of the work and never fail to complement us on it's differentiation of character. And an added upside will be the benefit to us when we put the house up for resale, in price and ease of selling.
