They were closed so we went back this morning. I asked for any kits appropriate for a four year old, and one of the ladies told me to give her a second. She came back with scraps and said they were free so my daughter could find out if she liked it. And then if she did, she had more for my daughter to try. You just don't find this kind of kindness at many shops anymore, and I so appreciate their willingness to pass on their craft like this. One of the things my sister was very excited to find was hand-dyed backing and a beautiful pattern for a stained glass window. When she couldn't find something she was looking for, she asked for help and received it. The ladies working there were a little quirky, but I think that's to be expected in a cross stitch shop. A friend suggested Adobi so I ventured out to see if they had what I needed. I opened the door and an entire display was right next to the door with everything I needed on it! I felt like I'd searched the world high and low for these bulbs and I was elated to see they're right here at a local shop. I browsed around and was also pleased to see they had plenty of other replacement parts if I'd ever need them for the electrical inner-workings of the ceramics I've inherited. While shopping we had found these soft sided cases that had no tags or pricing stickers on them but they were thrown in one of the 6or8 bins in the clearance section with only one sign seen on the entire multi-bin display saying $1. We get to the register explained they were in a bin in the clearance and no stickers etc. the manager Mike , maybe new ive never seen him, happens to walk by as the cashier is explaining that she sees them in her book and they are 3.99. The manager says yeah they are 3.99 I'll go take a picture. I said no need it's fine we aren't getting them we were only getting them because they were a dollar. He comes back a few minutes later shoving his phone in my face saying see they are 3.99 there is the sign (buried in the bottom of the crate where you cannot see it) I said maybe you should mark the individual product so people know the price considering they are in the clearance section under the $1 sign its confusing. He had the audacity to say 'Well it's not my job. Apparently you don't have a job!' seriously I didn't spend over a hundred dollars in there to be insulted by the slob of a manager. While they have a nice selection of fabric, the customer service is terrible when it comes to…read moremachine service. The staff never knows when the technician will be in, when the machine will be done, or if he has even looked at it yet. The technician says that he does one thing when it is evident that he has not. Multiple times I have brought my longarm machine home after being "cleaned" and "fixed" only to have the same issues. And I have clearly seen that the machine was not cleaned. I live an hour away and when I call to let them know that the issue was not fixed, the answer is "bring it back in" (2 hour round trip). Most recently, and the last straw, was after bringing my longarm in for a cleaning and being told that I was "first in line", there was no communication about the machine and when I would call, the shop tells me they don't know when he will be in and when he was last in. Then, a week later I called to check on the status of the machine and they say it is ready for pickup. When I got there, it was not ready, but he said I can "finish it" at home. After following his instructions, the machine still did not work properly. He then stated that it would need a $700 part (mind you, the machine was not even in the shop at that time). After spending hours on the phone with the HandiQuilter tech line, I decided I would need to find another dealer. The new dealer opened the machine up and it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in years (he sent me pictures). The tech said he has never seen a machine that bad. So, it appeared that the $300 that Red Rooster required that I pay upfront for the machine "cleaning" never got done. I will not be going back and will never recommend this shop to anyone else.

Awesome shop with lots of items for building models. Came here on a Sunday where there was also a…read moreswap meet going on to trade, sell, and buy various models. We were able to pick up newer and older Gundam models as well as some accessories to help with the build. It also happened to be 10% off on all models when we were there and that was great! They seem to have a good variety of sales throughout the month and also fun events as well. Really enjoyed coming here and will definitely be back

We came in yesterday as one of the Hobby Towns was having a huge Needoh drop event and my son…read morewanted to go. I am all for squishy hunting with my son but I draw the line at driving over 30 minutes anywhere for them so this was our compromise hoping they got at least a few in as well. Unfortunately they are a franchise, and the only squishes they had were overpriced knockoffs of what my son was looking for but it is still a cool store depending on what you are looking for. There are tons of sets to put together from mini houses to airplanes. The staff working were really friendly and helpful too. I would recommend this store if you are someone interested in crafting miniature models. My son is too young for this right now, but we definitely enjoyed looking at them all!
