They take a deposit when booking but it goes towards your service on the day of. Marlee asked what shape and color I was looking for for my brows & I left the rest to her. She was really friendly, professional and easy to talk to! I am obsessed with the results of my brows! The studio is cute, clean and the services are comparable to other places. Nikki was incredible for my first ever spray tan. I was super nervous stripping down and getting started but Nikki made me feel comfortable and the spray tan was over before I even bad time to be embarrassed. The salon is super clean and has very modern decor. They offer tons of services that I want to check out now that I've been in. Go check them out! I just got another spray tan here yesterday during their happy hour pricing. It's only $25 instead of $40 during happy hour on certain days. I like that you can pick the option of a medium, dark, or double dark tan. I get the double dark because I always get sprayed a few days before an event. The color stays and you don't look streaky or orange. The customer service at the salon is always a little strange. There has never been a receptionist there the few times I've gone in, so one of the girls doing lashes says hello when you walk in. I can't complain though - the price is cheap and the spray tan always looks great. Jettie has sprayed me the last 3 times, and I would recommend her. Make sure to put on a shower cap, sticky feet covers, and lotion on your knees and elbows before the tan. Maybe they don't tell me that because I've been there before, but they should give you a reminder. Make sure to bring cash or have a venmo account set up. They do not accept credit cards. I paid the shop on venmo, and then left a tip to Jettie's venmo. I can see how this could be confusing if you aren't familiar with venmo. the absolute WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had at a beauty salon/spa.I made an appointment in Nov of 2022 at the Southside location. The salons website/vagaro still had it listed as an option to make an appointment there and it was closer to my house. I received my appointment reminder for the Southside location and clicked on the link I was sent over text to confirm the appointment. I was immediately sent texts that I was confirmed, the last being that I was confirmed at the SOUTHSIDE location. Photos are attached showing this. I show up at my appointment time and the shop looks closed. I call their number to see what's going on, and they tell me "no we are definitely open and you're now running late for your appointment." Mind you, they charge you if you arrive ten minutes later then your appointment time. I tell them the door is locked and all the lights are off. They ask if I am at the Southside location and I say yes. They then tell me the Southside location has been closed for months and I needed to reschedule. I had a wedding two days later. I send them all the messages I received as proof that I was scheduled at that location. One of the employees said it was totally their fault and she would come in early the following morning to do my lashes, which was nice of her and greatly appreciated. So, I show up at my new appointment the next morning at Aspinwall and the owner, Nikki, stops me before I begin my service. She flips her computer monitor to me and shows me that I confirmed my appointment at 'Blind Bronze Beauty' not specifically 'Blinc Bronze Beauty South,' and that that location had been closed for months, so it was actually my mistake. So, because I clicked the text message link that I was sent to confirm my appointment at Blinc Bronze Beauty, it was my fault. Even though Vagaro allowed me to make my appointment at the Southside location, the appointment reminder I was emailed specified the Southside location, AND the last message I was sent about my appointment confirmed the SOUTHSIDE location! I was not aware that her spa was the center of the universe and we all just exist around it and should keep up with the latest spa news on a daily basis. WTF!? Additionally, this conversation, or rather, lack of accountability confessional, was had in front of all of the staff and the clients present. Yes, she shamed me in front of the entire salon. I will never be returning or giving them another dollar of my money. Nikki should be embarrassed as a business owner for her display of not taking responsibility for a mistake and shaming a paying customer in front of everyone. It was as unprofessional as it gets. Newsflash- if one of your locations has closed DONT ALLOW CLIENTS TO BOOK AT THAT LOCATION, TAKE IT OFF VAGARO THE SECOND IT CLOSES!!!!!!! read more

Kasey DeRiggi was my lash artist and the only person this review is directed towards. I had a lash appointment scheduled a month in advance with another lash artist who did a phenomenal job my first visit. She left unexpectedly and I was automatically rescheduled with Kasey. I was previously told a refill was anywhere from 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs. Yes I had very few remaining lashes I will say, which is irrelevant honestly 1.5 hrs is a lot of time to do what you can. Regardless the rudeness I was immediately met with was unbelievable. Kasey looks at me and this is the first time we met and says, I won't be able to do your lashes in this time and do a good job of making it look good/full (She is also 10 minutes late as she is checking out her previous customer) I decide in the time she is checking out he customer I will leave then (wish I trusted my gut). She then states well I have 1.5 hrs I can do my best, which is quite honestly what anyone would expect in that time frame for a scheduled visit. I asked for classic and natural and I was horrified when I had 13mm lashes all of the same length from inner to outer. I was livid to say the least and did feel like I looked like a clown and I said it. She proceeded to lie and say well that's what I asked for and told me I was insulting her work. She shrugged her shoulders at me and said I don't know what to tell you. I have been getting my lashes done for years and she is quite literally the most unprofessional, nasty person I have ever encountered in this business. The amount of entitlement was shocking. Her instagram page has decent work so no idea why she completely phoned in what she did for me but prob because it was a Friday evening around 4:30 (June 17th) and she wanted out. Whoever is the owner of this establishment I would get rid of this bad egg. Not to mention that all she did during my service was complain about the owner and how she scheduled people. One of her comments was "isn't she a master level, but she is blocked off for the 3 hrs. I went back to my car embarrassed to even walk on the street and thank God all my lashes immediately fell off when I rubbed them off ( see pic). I have never ever had lashes that were glued come off my eye like that, again a testament to the terrible job she did. I can't tell you how happy I was to have nothing on my eyes rather than what she did. If you do go here, avoid Kacey DeRiggi. read more

I would never suggest this beauty bar to anyone. Aside from the spray tans, the lashes are God awful. Im not sure where the owner hires these girls from to complete lash fills but they are always so thick and not worth the price. And, if we are being honest, why does the owner always look like she has maybe 4 lashes on each eye?
