Everyone was thorough and informative with me, without making me feel pressured to do or buy anything. Will definitely tell my friends and family to go to Alpine Vision Center.

The first pair of glasses came after 2 weeks. The second pair has still not come as of June 14, 2024. A couple of weeks ago i stopped by after being told the other pair was in. When I got there they said they had made a mistake and the other pair wasn't in. They told me they'd reach out again when they came in. Last Friday I called during business hours and no-one answered. I stopped by on my way to work and there was a sign saying they were closed for training. I called on Monday and nobody answered during business hours. I stopped by again and was told that they would reach out to the company and call me on Tuesday. Did they call? Nope. I tried calling again on Thursday and surprise, no answer. I stopped by again. I was not happy and let the lady at the front desk know it. Instead of apologizing, she said, "As you can see we are quite busy and have a lot of customers here in the office." They are going to have one less customer to deal with. They actually sent me a message this morning, via text, telling me to reach out to my safety supervisor to see what's going on with my order. That front desk person has no business being in front of customers with her attitude. I've been in there several times and they have an army of staff, I will not recommend this place to anyone that enjoys great customer service. Alex Fox

I never have problem with parking. The optometrist is nice and helpful, and the ladies in the front are great. The lady who ran the area for purchasing glasses is also friendly and does not push for expensive upgrades. I have been here before and thought everything was just great but coming with my dad who is wheelchair bound made me realize how inaccessible this place is. 1. No handicap automatic door. Getting through the door was a hassle because I had to hold the door open while trying to maneuver the wheelchair. 2. Unaware staff. The tech who did the initial exams did not know how to deal with someone in a wheelchair and was not making accommodations. I had to move things around, including machinery, so that my dad could access them. 3. Having to transfer to the exam chair. Hear me out. I am 5'3" and my dad is 6'2". Helping him transfer was not an easy task and the tech was no help--I had to ask her to move a chair out of the way and she did not know the foot rest moved (and figured it when it was too late). I hope that there are other optometrists that have accommodations for people in wheelchair, and next time I take my dad anywhere, I'll make sure to ask about accommodations and staff training.

They demanded insurance when I walked in, and I spent 50 minutes on the phone, looking it up to them before they finally informed me that they needed my health insurance instead of my vision. It took me five minutes to get my health insurance information when they inform me that it was too late and they were closing for the day so I had to go home and just hope I don't go blind. Stay away from this clinic at all costs!!!

They have many options including blue blocking light and lighter weight lenses. Progressive lenses and ones that turn from dark to light, light to dark, in the sun. Many frames and options. I love their new beautiful location right off Pioneer Express. The main entrance is on the south west side, on the second floor. My kids really enjoyed the wall mounted kids toys which are brilliant, also the Disney+ playing was indeed a plus. I loved the different themed rooms and how they included a wall mounted toy in each room as well. The assistant and Dr. Brad Henriksen were great and patient with my kids. One weird thing is that my kids didn't get sunglasses after their eyes were dilated? All the other kids had sunglasses so I know they had some available.

With the 40+ years I've been getting eye exams, both forehead and chin areas of the unit were cleaned before patient is examined. That's just like sitting on a pubic toilet without a seat cover.

When I later put them on, it was clear something was wrong and they needed adjustment. I called to schedule a fitting, which should have been done at the time of pick-up, only to be told it would cost an additional $120. On top of that, if I needed different lenses, I would be responsible for the cost out of pocket. This entire experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. For the price they charge, I expected far better service and care. I won't be returning and will take my business somewhere else where they actually care about and take care of their customers.

The…read moreprescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy, and when we contacted the office multiple times to resolve it, no one took accountability. We were repeatedly told it had been sent to Saratoga Springs, yet it was ultimately located at a Walgreens in Lehi that we have never visited. We had to call and track down pharmacies ourselves because the office refused to acknowledge or investigate the error. As a parent, it is deeply concerning when a provider appears disengaged and unwilling to clarify what happened -- especially when it involves a prescription for your child. Afterward, we received an email stating the visit lasted six minutes. Even if that were accurate,( which it's not) whether two minutes or six, the value and level of care simply did not justify the charges we were billed. This experience felt dismissive, unaccountable, and indifferent. I would strongly caution others before trusting this practice with their care. Then insurance was billed $245, my $50 copay was taken, and I'm told six months later that I owe another $135. For less than a minute of care. The administration was rude and refused to take accountability for their mistake. The billing practices feel inflated and completely unreasonable. I ultimately saw an out-of-network optometrist who doesn't even process insurance -- and the total cost was 1/4 the cost. Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish.

Then they sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy and instead of resolving the issue when we called and sending it to the right pharmacy they kept claiming they sent it already, making it so we had We waited nearly two hours past our scheduled appointment time for a visit we had booked almost three weeks in advance, and no one checked in with us or provided updates during that time. The provider who saw us was not the doctor we scheduled with and not the one billed to insurance. The visit itself lasted less than a minute. Afterward, the prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy. When we called to correct it, staff repeatedly insisted it had been sent to the correct location instead of resolving the issue, which forced us to contact multiple pharmacies ourselves to track it down. To make matters worse, the visit was billed to insurance as a one-hour appointment for $245 after already collecting our $50 copay. When I called to question what appears to be upcoding, the response was dismissive and defensive, and I was told the bill would be sent to collections. From the excessive wait time and lack of transparency to the prescription confusion and billing concerns, the entire experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

The online scheduling tool through their website was super easy to use. You also have the option to fill out the forms online. This location is housed within the Saratoga Springs Costco. The receptionist (didn't get her name, sorry!) is very friendly and professional. She was even able to troubleshoot something with my insurance for me and had it all resolved by the time my exam was finished. Dr. Ridder took me back a few minutes early. He was personable and not rushed. He took his time to understand the issues I've been experiencing. I appreciate his patience and great bedside manner. My husband and I had an enjoyable visit and conversation with him. We recently moved to UT from CA and have been working to establish our doctor network out here. We definitely found our Optometrists! Oh, They have an awesome machine that takes in depth pictures of your eyes, too! Pretty cool stuff. Thanks team! See you for our future visits.
