The challenge for us is we live in Taft and it is difficult to get contractors to come out here, so after being declined twice, it seemed we had no choice but to settle on Home Depot, the first associate dropped the ball and stopped communicating with me, the second one set up an appt. to send someone out for an estimate but that was almost three weeks out and we dreaded having to be without coverings that long. I called this company for a bid. The owner himself came to my house to give me a bid. I just needed some type of a shade to help prevent the sun/heat from getting in two of the bedrooms at my home. Mr. Knittel explained to me all the different types of blinds, shades and shutters to help prevent the heat. I ended up ordering shades for the two rooms that needed it and shutters for my kitchen. I was not really sure if I wanted the shutters, but Mr. Knittel assured me, they would look fabulous. Well, they were installed over the weekend, and I cannot literally express how much I LOVE THEM!
