I've had bad experiences with prior techs to the point I had to help them run wire through attic. This is specifically why he was requested and assigned originally. So I lost a days of work due to I wanted to be home for install and now we had to cancel. So now I'm even more delayed on getting my new equipment. Scheduling needs to get it together. When someone is requesting a tech. It's for a reason. Every customer has different needs and expect certain outcomes that not all techs can perform. If I could give negative 5 stars I would.

Gonzalez Electric was one of the first Yelp hits and once I saw Ed's great reviews, I gave him a call. He answered right away, was kind, listened to what happened, and said he'd be right out. Ed arrived at my place within half an hour and got to work. Ed's diagnosis of what was wrong was clear, professional, and he took the time to answer all of my questions. He even provided options for more economical vs longer term fixes. What I really appreciate though is how fair his pricing was--- the truth is that I was in a bad situation: no power, a sizzling breaker box, and a single woman alone at home in the darkness. He could have literally charged me anything and I would have probably paid it because hey, what choice did I have? But Ed didn't do that. He was VERY fair, he gave me options, he was just an all around wonderful person to work with and I am definitely saving his info for all future electrical work.
