Ordered and had windows measured for bedroom shades. Paid in full and setup an installation date but instead of sending an installer they sent someone to measure the windows. Tried calling the store several times and also the main number but didn't have any success as no one answered. Finally got thru to someone at the store who said she contacted the installation department but still no response for a new install date. Very disappointed and very poor customer service. read more

Update on several earlier post reviews on 20'' remote blind not working. The blind is in a set of five for bay window. It's now going on four months for them trying to fix it. Now they say it needs a motor. It's been in factory for repair three times. Installers have been to my house for a total of over 8 hours. One day I waited 4 hours only to hear there not coming. So now they send service manager here and he promises it would be fixed Friday or Monday two weeks ago. Still waiting and no one calls to update me. They really don't care and if you don't visit there Bayshore store you will just be forgotten. Horrible customer service. I will continue to update and have a strong feeling i will be posting bad reviews for quite a long time. All the time I've wasted on a 20'' blind they can't fix...........stay far away from blinds to go !!!!!! read more

First all the woman who greeted us had a nasty attitude. It was obvious we were asking questions as a first time customer to the store. She had no patience, was annoyed by the questions, and clearly did not want to be at work. I been a salesman for 30 years and this kind of attitude and nastiness would land her out of a job where i work. So if you see a woman with a Metallica shirt on with heavy tattoos i hope you get a better experience than i did. Absolutely garbage customer service. read more

Returned after 3 years with damage to a valence and they repaired for free and provided extra clips to reinstall myself.

HORRIBLE service. I ordered my blinds in February, it is now June and I've yet to hear from them. Completely unacceptable!! And this is the second time this happens with an order, so it is not a one time occurrence/mistake. I am very disappointed in the amount of time it takes for an order to be processed and the lack of communication with the customer. If you order your blinds from here be prepared to wait months and months and to receive not even a phone call or email about the status of your order. Buyer Beware, I've had 2 experiences (one good, one bad) and those depend on whose helping you. First off, they have a decent selection of blinds and are willing to show you different choices. They review the order several times with you, though fast enough that you might miss something. The paperwork is legible but it takes a moment to review it. The manufacture time is fairly quick. My problem is that on my second purchase, I ordered 2 blinds for similiar windows that were 90 degrees to another. My concern was with the valence that covers the metal housing. They would ultimately need to be mitered, but I was informed that I would have to do that myself. In ordering the windows, I had referenced a model that showed the installation within the jambs. We reviewed the rough opening and all was good I thought. When I got the windows 2 days later, I found they were 1/8" too big. I called and received a different person who told me I would have to wait till tomorrow to get an answer on what they could do. I asked if I could drop off the blinds today and discuss tomorrow what might be able to be done. I told her that they were really the only ones that could cut them properly. At that point I was told "no" and the return policy was recited to me verbatum and I would receive a call tomorrow. Obviously, they only needed to be cut 1/8-2/8", not a big deal. It wouldn't have cost them anything to do it. Instead I ended up doing it myself with tin snips and a saw. What would have been no cost to them is now a loss of a customer and this review. Make sure you review your order like a hawk, cause they are not there to help you even if it wasnt completely your fault. read more

GARBAGE! I purchased vertical blinds from this place a few months ago. Immediately i noticed the blinds were so thin that when if you open / close them to fast one will break. I tried to return them & or get better ones but because they were a "custom size" they wouldnt take them back. So i stopped payment on my card, fought with there finance department for a few months, ended up settling for half ONLY because i didnt need want a hit on my credit. DO NOT USE!!! Went there to purchase for 4 windows, we were never given the option for someone to come measure the windows. As they said ok measure your windows send us measurements do you want inside blinds or outdoor( we have no clue) so we measure both not knowing a cm could make a difference. When we called the guy to install he's like ok, when do you want me to measure I said no they were ordered. No option to measure, he was caught off guard because apparently they are strict with that. We dealt with Tiffany. Our order came in, Ordered the wrong color!!!' I signed the correct correct her excuse was figured u would want every color similar. So we had to wait another 2 weeks. As soon as you walk in it states fast delivery and service. 5 Weeks we waited for it order and thennnnnnn another 2 weeks for our correct order! Never again! Feb 2020 went looking for blinds to replace my existing ones that broke (verticles). Spoke with Lillian (consultant) who is very knowledgeable and professional. She recommended the shades (cascade elegance) and we ordered them. They are custom made so they were a bit more expensive than we were expecting but so with it. They were ready in about a week and scheduled installation with Jason. Jason installed and we loved them. About one month later we noticed that two of the shades were starting to unravel on one side. Called the store and unfortunately due to COVID they like the rest of the country were closed. Fast forward to reopening I called and explained to Lillian and she had Jason come and remove the shades for replacement. They have the best customer service. They replaced the shades (lifetime warranty!!) at no charge. Not only that but they gave me cords on the shades that I had not originally ordered ( they were more expensive obviously). I would recommend this particular store and it's employees. Customer service is awesome!!!! read more

The women in the Bayshore store are awesome!!! They have a HUGE selection and they were so knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. They really know their stuff! Then I completed my order over the phone after we re-measured so I didn't have to go back to the store which is a little far for me- so convenient. The installer came today, did an awesome job, and I LOVE my cellular blinds!!!!! I got the blackout smaller ones without the cord and they are gorgeous! The blinds were nice, the only problem was the salesperson did not tell us that with a inside mount the valance goes on the outside which defeats the purpose of having it flush with the wall. My husband had to alter the valance to make it fit our window. I am happy with the blinds overall. Some of the sales help aren't the most knowledgeable but will ask other sale persons questions. I would never use Blinds to go for verticals ever, they say custom what a joke. I had nothing but issues from the first time install was to be made,. First the rod was wrong, it was to be a center draw, so it went back. then the drawing system on one side is set up different than the other, meaning I have a sliding door with two 30 inch windows making a U shape. so on one side the drawing system is set opposite because THEY AREN'T CUSTOM Then they come and the verticals are uneven meaning they should be straight across the bottom and they looked liked a hillbilly's teeth. So now they have to remove verticals, and I have to wait again,. They come back and I wanted to rip them down, the installer and I had to play lets see if we can make them look even. I settled because this process started in may and took over two months. I will say the young lady heather did her best to make me happy including fighting with the company to just redo and leave the verticals up so I didn't have to put a sheet up again... and the installers from ken osprey were wonderful they understood my issue with the verticals.. I complained to the company about this and they said oh we will give you back like 12 % which was a big $125.00, oh it was a $900.00 job not counting the install. The best is I still have to glue the top as they are lifting at the over lay , since it appear they undid the originals and re cut well someone does not have a clue how to measure and now I have to secure the top. I would never use them again not even for a dog house. Maybe for " blinds" they are not a problem but verticals.. they are a horrid company. My opinion go else where any where but here... I had levelors the first time. those were custom. never a problem so for me all the ads on tv would never get me in to a blinds to go store ever. read more
