Their blinds have gotten cheaper (thinner) in quality, and way expensive over the past four years or so. Paid $95 dollars for a small 27" wide bath room window blind. The build quality was disappointing. They did fill the order quickly, and the salesperson was very helpful. read more

I came to Blinds To Go because the Home Depot's ordering and installation process takes a minimum of 3 weeks, and ain't nobody got time for that. I walked into Blinds To Go on Black Friday (total coincidence) and the gentlemen that I spoke with (Darius) helped me figure out what style and color blinds I wanted. He ran two quotes - one for a fancy valence, and one for a very plain valence. Since it was Black Friday they were running a sale which meant I could get the fancy valence for only $30 more total than the plain ones! That was my first "win." He then explained that it would be $40.00 for one of their professional installers to come check my measurements, and that he could come on Wednesday. I was impressed with that nominal fee and the turnaround time. I figured it was best to shell over the $40 so I could be sure our measurements were accurate. John, one of their blind installers, came to my house to check my measurements on the Wednesday following Black Friday and he informed me that we actually did have room to mount inset blinds (we thought we didn't) and that he'd readjust our measurements for us. Darius called me later in the day to tell me that the new measurements resulted in a decrease of the total cost of the blinds by $70. Another win! On Saturday I received an email that my blinds were delivered to the store and to contact the installer to schedule a day for installation. I called right away and Darius put me on the phone with John, who just so happened to be at the shop. We decided he'd come Monday between 3:30 and 4. John encountered a bit of traffic on Monday so he didn't arrive until 4:30, but he put the blinds up quickly and they look great!! I am very happy with my experience here. Terrible. Do yourself a favor and go with another company. Everything from the ordering process, to the customer service, to their communication is terrible. I don't know how they are in business. They don't communicate with you when an order is delayed by weeks and when you call to inquire they act outraged that you are even checking up on your order. On top of that, their entire operation is severely dated. They have a hard time even taking a credit card payment over the phone. Save yourself multiple headaches. read more

Update on Review: Called the number provided and have not been able to get in touch with anyone through the customer service number. Initial Review: After a week of getting my blinds installed (in April of 2019) they began popping off of the brackets and onto the floor ran. This remains an ongoing issue. I have contacted Blinds to Go SEVERAL times and still have yet to get anyone to come out and fix the problem. I am continuously told that someone will give me a call back. No one ever does. Due to the falling constantly, the blinds have broken. After paying about $600 for 5 blinds, I feel like this situation should have been handled better. I am so angrily disappointed. read more

I posted a review of this company after they ordered the wrong parts for the blinds for my sliding glass door. The installer who showed up to install the blinds was upset that that the store ordered the wrong parts . He even called his own customer service to complain and said we would get a call to reschedule within 48 hrs. After a week and numerous calls and emails still No response. Finally reached the store and requested they cancel the order and refund our money so we could order from another company. We were told we could not cancel because its a special order , still would not give us an installation date. Whatever you do, avoid this company. My order was late after waiting two months. Nobody ever called me back on the automated system several times. The salesperson was supposed to get me a temporary cover for the bedroom window but never did. They fired the guy who did the measurements, the new installer couldn't complete the job drilling into metal, so now I have to wait until Friday to complete the job. This company has failed multiple times to complete this properly and in a timely manner. Avoid them unless you enjoy the Keystone Cops routine and have extraordinary patience. read more

Blinds to go has gone downhill in the last three years. I ordered shades waited for over a month to get them. The first ones were damaged and I had to wait another two weeks for the second ones. Then, after paying for installation, the installer never answered my phone calls to return to put up the shades. I should have reported them to the Better Business Bureau. He asked what we were in the market for and if we needed any help, when we told him what we were looking for he pointed us in the right direction and told us that he would be available to answer any questions that we had, he then let us alone to look at the merchandise, which there was a lot of and then checked in on us from time to time to see if we need the assistance. Assistance. When we had whittled down some of our choices, he asked about our specific situation and gave us some very good tips on some of our choices and knew his merchandise very well. Overall, the product is beautiful quality, the installer is amazing, but the customer service leaves something to be desired. While this does have a lifetime warranty, you have to be incredibly patient while waiting for your order. The blinds are great quality and really beautiful. John, who installed them was also terrific. Worth every penny! The wait time however, from when we ordered the blinds to when they arrived was 3 weeks. We ordered Aug 22nd and they arrived Sept 11th. The store told us 9 days (not business days). So we were disappointed with the wait time being so excessive. 21 days is certainly NOT 9!! .Also, when I tried to call and check on the order, I had to speak to an automation and when I finally called 4 times (as the store didn't answer the phone) to get a person, they didn't have much information except "they are at the factory in production." The customer service was really not great. Finally, when my blinds did arrive, the factory forgot a bracket and so we are waiting for the last window to be done. read more

Well, the sales process was good, the salesperson helpful except he forgot to tell me that the Allure curtains would cost $15.00 per linear foot to install (did I miss something?). I was very excited to have these in my living and dining rooms (they were gorgeous in the showroom) and I did receive the promotion of 25% so I was ok with the installation price. Even though I told him this, he said the charge would be $8 per linear foot. Great! Thank you! Now to the installation. The installation person was very nice. That aside, my appointment was set for 1:00 pm. Because of car problems, he did not get to my house until 5:15. The store told me it would be approximately an hour to install all 8 windows. I thought maybe 2-2 1/2 hours. He left around 9 pm to go to yet another clients home. The Allure Blinds I bought do not sit straight, they were very wrinkled, the valances were cut too short. One of the windows blinds were cut too short width wise. So now they need to be remade and reinstalled. Timing here is an issue now because we're supposed to be going on vacation. In talking to the store, I cannot say I am convinced this is going to happen leaving my window exposed until we gat back. Guess it's newspaper time. :(. I called the store a few times today to get this straightened out. Only once did I get a call back. I spent a decent amount of money on this purchase. I expected this to go much much smoother. My son bought a houseful of blinds from Blinds to Go and was extremely happy with the entire process. Meh, I've experienced better! read more

I stopped in last night on the hunt for some shades for two skylights and also some blinds for other windows. The store has an amazing variety. Much much better than what you would see if you visited Home Depot or Lowes. The sales person was very helpful and knowledgeable. I appreciated that there were no high pressure sales tactics. The Design Consultant( Zaynah Jackson) was very helpful and friendly also al the workers wore masks.

We took the broken shade and photo of the window (with tape measurement in photo) we wanted to get shades for. The representative was disinterested in seeing the existing shade and only casually looked at the photo. Due to the unique nature of our window woodwork, the standard directions were not helpful nor were the salespeople in calculating the correct measurements. Our only other option was to have them measure the window for $45. Consequently, the shade provided was the incorrect size and we were told there was no other recourse other than to purchase another shade for $65. They very clearly wanted to place the measuring responsibility on the customer in order to absolve themselves blame or fault. Find somewhere else to purchase window treatments. read more

I am very please with my purchase of cellular shades. From the start with the salesperson introducing himself, he was very knowledgeable with the inventory. I explained to him what I was looking for and I was showed samples of the specific shades and colors according to my budget. After choosing the shades that I wanted, all the info was put into the computer and that generated a price. It was a little bit above my budget and I was given a $50 coupon towards the bill. I ordered the shades it was less than a week when I received word that they were ready. Prior to that I was given the name and phone number of man who would come and measure my windows for a nominal fee he was he was very experienced and quick. He directed me to call him when I was notified at the shades were ready and then we set up an appointment for installation for a nominal fee. He called me with the two hour window and told me he would pick up the shades and bring them with him. He was on time with both times that he came and he was very quick about installing shades I think he was here installing 5 shades, the whole installation took less than 15 minutes and with some instructions as if there is a problem with anything concerning the shades and if it cannot be fixed we will replace it you have a lifetime warranty. Everyone from start to finish was very accommodating. The whole process process took less than a week and now I have my shades and they're wonderful. My husband was concerned with light coming in the bedroom a specific shade was ordered for the bedroom windows and there is not a bit of light coming through the windows of course when shades are raised we get light of the day. AAA+++! make sure measurements are what they ask for and they will be build accordingly. 5 star and no issues.... 13 foot wide and 88inch high vertical blind on Applebee windows systems Largest residential bay window. ( our old blind was 16 years old)... drove item home in a thunderstorm in our SUV... hanging from windshield well past tailgate and brought my red flag for drive home for overhang! 5 stars and I installed myself! I see lots of negative reviews and I would suspect individuals cant hands on use a tape measure without an app and or hands on do the task. SOOOO..... Go get a contractor if you lack hands on.... not blinds to go issue... that's you if cant measure or put up by your self!!! That large of a window was 1 1/2 hour remove old and install new ....wife and I no hired help. Ordered on a Saturday afternoon and they were in at store Monday morning.... that is pretty dam quick! Manager AAA+++ good guy! made me re measure to finalize order with a simple call back.... that covers there buts for a large order and I don't have to do a trash review like many.... Not going to ramble but nail hit on the head! For.. Negative reviews I would say... If you never learned to measure in your life and bought that dream house and spent the big bucks and know how to use your smart phone more than a tape measure... ( 6th grade shop class) requirement! and wasted more play station time than hands on reality life.... then you can afford to get a contractor to do the job and lay blame on contractor and not company that otherwise is................ He showed me several items that were in line with the blinds that I was interested in. The salesperson was great, unfortunetly the factory made our blinds incorrectly. When we called them to discuss the mistake, (the installer said that the sales rep would call us, but 6 hours later we had never heard from him) they told us we had to make an appointment to have the installer come back out and remove the blinds before they would make new ones (despite the fact that the installer took photos of them) and he would reinstall the old blinds while they made the new ones. I would not recommend them, despite the fact that the blinds are beautiful, service after the sale is just as important....... read more

I've been using this particular store for over 30 years through three different houses. The staff is helpful and courteous. The blinds/shades are usually ready within three working days and they are guaranteed for life. Everyone I've worked with has been helpful and courteous. First Service/sales were exceptional. Price was moderate. Time to acquire the new blind was very quick. Thirdly, Had one problem with removing the rubber bands. One of them caught the middle plastic button holding the middle line for the blades came off. I was able to reinstall. be careful removing plastic, rubber bands since these tabs are cheaply made.
