Although the cost was a little more than I anticipated for a blind for my 72" wide window, my experience with Steve M. and the team at BTG was excellent. My original intent was to get vertical blinds given the size of the window, but I learned when the measurements were taken that I needed to pivot to a different type of blind due to space limitations. I ended up with a large cellular blind that I am very pleased with, and the installer (Guillermo) was a real pro. read more

I first purchased wood blinds back in 2022. Quality of blinds were nice but had trouble getting my order strait. Different color was sent...had to reorder. Recently (5/25), I had to reorder the blind due to damage to a slat. Not realizing the store retain the original incorrect order, they put in the request for that order never checking to see if there was more information. When I got home and opened the box, it was the original incorrect order. I called the store, spoke with the manager, asked her to check for another order from 2022. She found it, but never mentioned it to me when I called the first time. I find the service not thorough and they get the orders mixed up. read more

I posted a review on 1.28.25 and even though they responded to my review on line stating that they will be in touch that has not been the case. I left a message for the manager Debbie on Monday, Jan 27th I was told she would reach out to me within 12 to 24 hrs. Well its been 96 hrs. and still no call back. I was told Debbie has been in meetings and that is why I haven't heard from her. What a joke. Do not use Blinds to Go, they are the worse. This is the worst experience that I recall ever having with a store. I paid for five blinds and paid for measuring and installing. One of. the blinds turned out to be the wrong size. The installer left with that blind and, I am told, never reported the error to Blinds to Go. I cannot get the installer or anyone at the store or with corporate customer service to correct the error. I am told each time that they will get back to me and correct the problem. Each time there is no followup response. read more

We scheduled an appointment for someone to come to our house to measure windows for installation and they never showed up. We called the store and asked what happened and were told that the person we originally talked to no longer worked at the company and that he never scheduled the appointment. I placed an order for nearly $5,000 worth of shades for my house. Elena Poyrazov was very pleasant and helpful. At the time that the order was prepared, we paid half the cost. We understood that the final payment would be once the product was installed. Her supervisor said that the company policy is full payment after the measurements are taken - before production begins. We said this was unacceptable and cancelled the order. I cannot comment on the quality of the product - just the process. If you want a potential headache do not go with Blinds To Go. The company that owns Blinds To Go also owns 3 Day Blinds. We lost the $50 measurement cost, but this came as a relief in the end. read more

If less than one star was possible, that would be the rating. The blinds would NOT stay down when pulled down and do NOT block out light as they were advertised ("blackout"? Yeah right, sure Jan) The blinds we previously had were from Home Depot, they were a fraction of the price and way better and more effective. They actually stayed down when pulled down and blocked light on all sides. Paid $1400 for these useless blinds vs $200 for the Home Depot blinds for my 3 windows. And got no response from the useless sales rep. I guess she got her sale so who cares after that right? Pure crickets when I had concerns. I have a lot of windows in my house and decided to start with the 3 in the MBR and see how it went before doing more of the windows. Well, it went badly. I certainly will not be getting any more blinds or other products from this place and would advise the same for anyone else considering doing business with this company. Ordered blinds via in-home appointment. Installation was scheduled and then cancelled two days before with no explanation provided. Sales rep wouldn't return calls, answer e-mails or texts. Called corporate office, who said sales rep had to handle and went to local store who also said sales rep had to handle. Disputed credit card charge hoping someone would call me, but still crickets. Now, I don't know if I can move on and order from somewhere else, or if I still have to wait for these clowns, who I have no desire to work with. Take your business elsewhere where you can actually get someone to speak to. read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE service. We scheduled a first at home measurement date but the installer could not measure the windows because he had no ladder. We then scheduled a second at home measurement date. We then scheduled an installation date but the installer failed to install the blinds because they were not cut to the correct length. The blinds were re-cut and we then scheduled a second installation date, but the installer failed to show up without explanation. We then scheduled a third installation date, but the installer again failed to show up without explanation. Enough is enough. We are now waiting for a full refund. read more

I bought the pleated, cordless, top-down bottom-up blinds for 7 large windows. Blinds To Go have samples and booklets and a rep person at the desk - all helpful in making decisions while you are at the store. The problems were with service once I left the store. They hardly ever answer the phone, they mixed up appointment dates and lost all my order info at one point, they kept sending service people for measuring the windows, even after the blinds were already installed. The blinds are nice, but look a bit flimsy and of cheap construction. They are not cheap, either. I'd recommend comparing prices and quality in other places so you do not blindly go to blinds to go. read more

I was informed that Rey wouldn't sell to me unless I paid $150 for someone to come out and measure the windows. They were unmoved by the fact that the windows remained to same. The staff at the store in Rockville were lovely, informative and patient. The products are good and fairly priced. However, the installer did not show up on day of the appointment. Customer service then lied trying to imply that installation was scheduled for the following week, or perhaps the following day. This was tried despite on screen confirmation from Blinds To Go of the 9-11 AM appointment time on the morning of the appointment. So wasted a day waiting for a 9-11 AM appointment. We were then told that installer would arrive 8 AM the following day. They actually arrived at 9 AM, but did a good job. Since we were not notified on the original day that no one would come, this represents a total lack of consideration. We should note that the person who came previously to measure the window also arrived hours after the 6 hour window chosen by the company. The product is nice. However, our experience with the installers have led us to order the 11 other blinds we need from a different company. They showed up promptly and did a fine job. read more

After just one year of use, the smartlift cord on my cellular shade broke. i had registered for a Lifetime Warrenty at the time of purchase so I expected there to be no charge for the repair. The store rep initially told me I would have to pay a service charge of $180 for the cellular shade to be picked up and returned to me after it was repaired by the manufacturer. (Alternatively, I could bring the shade into the store - but the large size and the potential damage I could cause by removing it make this a bad option). When I questioned this cost for a shade that was under warranty, the rep dropped the service fee to $80. This reduced price is still unsatisfactory as the warranty says nothing about a service fee and implies that all repairs are free. This shade cord broke after one year of use. Blinds To Go adds insult to injury by asking me to pay more money to have the faulty shade picked up for repair and re-delivered when I've already paid top dollar for this shade and bothered to register its warranty. We ordered Roman Shades for our sliding glass door. They were made from a print material. When the four panels were hung, the material did not match. We called the company and ask them to fix the pattern matching. The one blind is way off. We told them we were not satisfied with the way, the blinds were constructed. It was like hanging wallpaper and not matching the pattern. The sales person offered us to remake the blinds in a solid material or give us 10% back. I love the pattern and did not want a solid color hanging on my window. I was told that it was impossible to match the material. When I said that I was not happy that the blinds were not built the right way The Customer service assistant told me that I was wrong and that they were. We wrote back to the sales person and said we would rather take the 10% back then have a solid color blinds as we cannot come to a solution. We have not yet heard back and it has been three months. Needless to say, I will never order blinds from this company again. They are not customer friendly. They say that they guarantee your satisfaction. When you say you are not satisfied, they tell you that. Yes you are. read more

After I came into the store with preliminary measurements, my order was processed, the product constructed, and was delivered and installed quite rapidly. I found out that there were lots of details associated with window treatments - including the mechanism to open and close. Ms. Robertson was very detail oriented and she always advised me of my options. She was very patient with me in explaining the advantages and disadvantages of different options.
