A team came into the house and removed the fogged windows, took them to thier work truck, and installed the new windows in the window frames. They came back in and intalled the "new" windows in a matter of minutes. They were here only 30 minutes for the entire operation. Very impressed. Scott was one of the team but I did not get the other gentelman's name. Both were friendly, courteous, and knowledgable. I inquired about replacement screens and was told they do repair them, too. It was mentioned it's cheaper if we bring the screens to the shop for repair instead of having them come out to get them. Very impressed with the quality of wormanship and workers. The owner yelled at us on the phone and tried to gas light us by telling us how to use a level and tape measure. When asked why he was yelling, he said he had bad hearing. There are multiple other reviewers here and elsewhere sharing similar experiences, including one where AHC dismissed their use of the middle finger as an old habit from installing caulk. Hopefully this helps explain "the relevance of the phrase 'we regret going with the lowest bidder'" from our original review in full context. 5 stars for price. 2 stars for quality. 0 stars for customer service. Now, to address AHC's response which includes private correspondence taken out of context. The project plan was to replace roughly half the windows in our home followed by the second half the following year--if all went well during the first half. What AHC didn't include in their response is: "Not a single photo was taken within several feet of a worker and none were taken in front of a worker or otherwise impeded their progress, but I understand if photos make some people feel uncomfortable. The only input provided to [the crew] was how we wanted the capping done around the picture windows (which they explicitly asked for) and asking about the crooked and scratched windows. I told him I wanted to talk to [the owner] to see what we should do, and I could tell he did not like that plan based on his response. It wasn't an insult or dig at the quality of his work, but looking back I can see how he may have interpreted that as disrespectful. Personally, I always welcome a second opinion from another knowledgeable person (especially if they're on the same team), and I don't think anyone's work is beyond questioning." I've attached a few of the photos they claim impeded their workers' progress. It's also worth noting that all email correspondence with AHC was prior to receiving second and third opinions from other contractors who, beyond a doubt, know how to use a level and tape measure. We're now considering having a few of the windows they installed replaced based on those conversations. ==== Original Review (**---) We had more than a dozen windows in our home replaced by AHC. The quality of work is acceptable for the price, but we regret going with the lowest bidder. After we pointed out a few issues such as scratches on the windows and that one looks crooked, the owner yelled at us and told us our house is crooked. Read through other reviews on here and you will see that they have turned down jobs and yelled at other customers who raised questions/issues about their work.

With regards to the heating of our home, the windows were no better than screens. I reached out, looking for windows and installers. I had a few people come in and estimate the job. None of them impressed me until Greg from Windows on Washington came over. He walked me through several options and explained how the windows they used were manufactured and why. Windows on Washington got the job. My windows and my doors were being manufactured. So they sent out a wonderful gentleman to get the final accurate measurements. Great guy. After that, communication was wonderful as were were assessed of the stage we were in. This included when we got the email and calls explaining that, since we were on a higher floor, they needed to bring in some equipment to lift the new doors up to our balcony. No surprises. Installation day was amazing as Joon and his team came in, got everything into place, and cleaned up the areas to better than when they got here. Joon then went over the features on our windows and even explained how we get to and clean the outsides of the glass. Wonderful man and amazing team. Since then, we have gotten copies of our warranty and the guarantees. And the company has reached out twice to ask if we have any questions and to ensure that we are happy with our windows. We are.
