We enjoyed a quick and tasty breakfast at Bliss before hitting the road to head home today. Very disappointed and surprised no one asked for our vaccine passports though! We overheard other folks complaining about this outside while having their breakfast. They said there was a small but very vocal minority of people pushing against the passport concept in Peachland. I certainly hope Bliss wasn't swayed by such an uneducated fringe group to put their customer's health at risk needlessly! RESPONSE- Thanks for pointing out my misunderstanding! You are of course correct that you're not required to enforce the vaccine passport for the reason you mention. I haven't tried a lot of their foods and I have to agree with others that they are pricey but their coffee is fantastic! I have tried the egg on a biscuit sandwich and also the egg white wrap and, even though the wrap is a bit sparse (aren't eggs quite cheap?), both were quite tasty. But that wrap is a little on the thin side. Too bad it wasn't stuffed because that would be a feast for the eyes and well worth the price if it was stuffed. I find the cashiers very friendly and the baristas that make the coffee make a slammin' Americano! They are very, very good at what they do. We've also had the caramel brownie thingy and the caramel is stretchy and chewy and very, very good. It's a dark chocolate brownie with pecans and probably one of the best brownies I've ever had, albeit pricey for the size. But, as others have stated, if you want the view, then you have to pay the price apparently. They are a steady restaurant and I've noticed a lot of people order their soup so perhaps someday we'll give that a go. The restaurant appears quite clean to me so no concern there. read more

It's a nice bakery/cafe/bistro right by the lake. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had the naked baker vegan brownie bar topped with coconut caramel and it was very good. We both wanted something cold so we ordered iced Americanos and added some cream (and sugar). There is seating inside and outside. read more

Bliss in Peachland is decent at best, with the biggest pull being the location and view of the surrounding areas. The lineups are always quite long and it appears almost all the food is premade in the fridge, and reheated in the quick oven for service. The food itself is decent but over-priced, and the coffee is mediocre. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of options in Peachland, but this Bliss location wouldn't make it in Kelowna. read more

I always stop at Bliss Bakery and grab a sandwich, bread and drink and something sweet for later when in Peachland. Staff is always very friendly. However, today i ordered the extra large $6+ chai tea latte. When the barista put it on the counter the look was almost challenging. Not even a smile or thanks or hello and she wasn't that busy. There was some foam on the top of the drink but absolutely no foam or drink/milk for over 1.75" to the top rim of the cup. At over $6 for a cup is this the standard norm? I could have gotten a large for less price and same volume. I have never had this size before so didn't know if it was normal. The drink was fabulous, although not overly hot, just warm. Definitely rethinking my tip and future drink purchases there though. read more

Sure it says 'bakery', but it's really kind of an extension of a front room most of us will never have. The tremendous view year-round, the beautiful light that flows into the space and great menu. I have to eat here more, the few times I've managed to have been excellent. Sure it says 'bakery', but I treat it as an outpost of individualism and character-driven vision. Great place to stop in while driving past or after a walk along the promenade. The coffee is quite good. The pastries and goodies are above average. The bread is artisan bread, it is beautiful and delicious. Our only disappointment was the cinnamon bun, we've tried it a few times and they are always dry, it's a shame everything else has been good. Fantastic location and views as it is directly across the street from the lake. Always busy, and staff are usually hurried and prone to errors - but we still stop in every time we're passing by. read more

We stopped at Bliss Bakery and Bistro in Peachland on our way south to Osoyoos. This was our first visit but we will definitely return. Our kids had been snacking in the car so they shared Banana Bread and a Strawberry and Cream Smoothie. My wife and I shared a Roasted Roma Sandwich and a Mediterranean Chicken Sandwich. My wife had a Blended Chai and I had my go-to Vanilla Latte. The sandwiches were both outstanding, the bread and the brie on the Roasted Roma sandwich being highlights. The slice of banana bread was generous and moist. Yes, dad snuck a taste. The smoothie and latte were quite enjoyable, although we both found the blended chai was too sweet. The staff were pleasant and helpful and when the experience is topped off with a stunning view of the lake from the patio, we will definitely stop on our next trip through the Okanagan. read more

I always enjoy stopping here when in the area. Coffee is nice and strong, pastries are varied and tasty, lunch options are very savory. If you stop for lunch after 2pm there is slim picking for lunch food, but they will have plenty of pastries. But one thing is for sure, you will have a hard time beating the view of the lake from their cafe and patio. That alone is worth a stop for coffee on their patio. read more

Great coffee, mediocre service and expensive. I ordered 2 regular Americanos but requested them in a larger cup because I like extra water. I was told they'd charge me for the large size anyway, which I thought was cheap and petty of them. I also had a Bliss square, which is like a butter tart in bar form with some cranberries added in. Pretty much the best place you can eat in Peachland. The food is made fresh daily, and the coffee is authentic. Nothing cheap or fast about any of it. We make this a stop every time we drive up to Kelowna from Vancouver, and it never fails to be a highlight. read more

I will passionately write a 1 start review every time I purchase a coffee when visiting Bliss. I remember a while ago server told be that Almond milk is bad for the planet...... while they offer regular milk, cream and soy. Last time I checked regular milk was not the best for the planet , and Vince it is a upscale coffee shop with all the dance snacks and seems like quality food. But I can't remember a coffee shop with out almond milk for quite some time . Bliss shits the bed once again , I should've got Bean Scene even if I would have to loose an 1he of my morning. Just had one of the worst customer service experiences of our life at this place. Came in at closing wanting to buy a cold drink. The doors were wide open they were putting away the patio chairs. We were parched after a long walk on the beach. The woman behind the counter told us they were closed so we "couldn't buy anything". We inquired about simply grabbing a drink of water from their water jug they have available. She begrudgingly agreed after an eyeroll. When my wife went inside to get it one of her coworkers handed her two paper cups which she filled before leaving. The first woman started barking at her that she was using "the wrong cups!"...even though they were provided by her coworker. We were shocked that someone working at a coffee shop would give anyone thirsty a hard time about simply getting some water which was freely available and be that rude to a potential customer. This is a community coffe shop and we are regulars. Were regulars until today. Whoever trained this women if she was even trained should be reprimanded and/or fired along with her. The best thing here is the breathtaking view of the mountain and lake from inside and outside the cafe. That being said, everything else was only subpar--service was good but not great; there weren't very many vegetarian selections; and they ran out of their food pretty quickly. Also, there was a swarm of gigantic fruit flies at one corner of the store due to the many food scraps on the dirty floor that made my stay terrible. I think the staff here can do a better job with store maintenance... And prolonging their WiFi service. read more

The comment about the bread being unhealthy made me chuckle. Bliss Bakery doesn't pretend to be a health food restaurant! There is a good selection of sweet and savoury pastries, and, even as vegetarians, my husband and I always find something to eat (usually involving feta and spinach filling!) The sweets are decadent and well worth the stop on our trips between Summerland and Kelowna. My only complaint about this place is that it is so incredibly popular with both locals and tourists that you often can't get a table in the summertime. Excellent food, usually good service (has been snippy once before during a huge rush), incredible view, especially if you're lucky enough to get a table out on the patio overlooking Okanagan Lake. In wintertime snuggle up by the fireplace with a steaming cup of something delicious. Maybe if other reviewers tried something besides just the bread they would have a more balanced opinion of the cafe', although to be fair I haven't had the bread there. read more

The last review is very misleading, the staff at Bliss Bakery on Beach Ave are absolutely wonderful. We have been regulars and the staff have been nothing but wonderful. They know myself and my wife by name as well as the drinks we order. When an establishment is closed, it is closed. The staff were very considerate to accommodate customers after they were closed. It sounds like the staff were following protocol. Myself and my wife will continue to frequent Bliss. And "Bonnie" is a huge factor to why we come back again and again. read more

We all know benefits of non Starbucks coffee shop/bakery. Premium spot let's say to grab a well priced coffee and a bite, and this is coming from someone who lived in Okanagan. At this point I visit my family but because there are not that many options around Peachland I have purchased my coffee here but can someone please tell me about a month ago I remember asking for almond milk the answer was " we have soy or coconut" ( no sorry we don't have it or whatever else , thy just gave me the 2 options) so now I would like to ask for a place with such a premium approach and exclusive location how hard is it to carry some almond milk for people with that specific preference and not assume that almond milk drinkers for whatever reason will be fine with soy or coconut. I think it is a very simple fix , major business mistake and almost the simplest thing that could have been avoided and now that my Dad orders an espresso and asks for side of water the lady suggests an Americano ..... dear we are from Europe and when my Father asks for an espresso and a side of water you some what have to do what he asked and smile while at it unless his broken English allowed you to think otherwise ..... now I'm gonna go back in and get her name to make it official ..... I often go to Bliss in Peachland to have a good cappucino and walk my dogs along the esplanade. This last visit I brought my smart phone and tried to take advantage of the 1 hour of free WIFI. The WIFI would not allow me to connect. I tried 2 different codes that were printed on coupons and neither one would allow me to log on to the WIFI. This place is adorable. My friend has been here several times and it comes highly recommended. I ordered a tea, but apparently the coffee here is incredible (I don't drink coffee). I also ordered a Bliss Bar and it was delightful. Moist, tender, flaky, and very flavourful. The inside has enough space to find seating, but there's also an outdoor patio area with tons of space. The view here is incredible... it's right along the water so you can take a stroll with your drink and enjoy the sights. Definitely coming back. read more
