Bliss Beach set up our large event for my daughter's wedding on the beach and it was spectacular! They were sooo great to work with over many months in arriving at the concept and obtaining permits, etc. It was the most beautiful wedding and captured my daughter's vision for a wedding ceremony (for 150 people) that doubled as a fun beach day. The team was amazing in setting everything up as planned and also kind and helpful in every possible way. Everyone was blown away by what was created on the beach for a stunning wedding venue! We're all still glowing from the incredible Bliss Beach experience we enjoyed today. We reserved the Kahuna because we wanted space for 10 adults and two kids. Ale assisted us in the reservation, making the whole process super easy, and Tommy was our awesome set-up person. When we arrived at Driftwood Beach in Marina del Rey, we were SOOOO happy to find our space completely ready and BEAUTIFUL!!! We truly felt like celebrities! We had the most amazing day celebrating my daughter's 23rd birthday on Butterfly Beach in Santa Barbara thanks to the lovely and accommodating team at Bliss Beach. Because of the social distancing in place, it was difficult to find a way to make the day special until I found this service! Brian was incredibly easy and pleasurable to work with...we quickly agreed on the time, place and set up arrangements, and everything went off without a hitch. We got the little lounge set up, which was plenty of room for 4 of us and our little pup, too! The hardwood chairs were comfy, the day-beds and beach rug (made out of recycled t-shirts) were super soft and the table and umbrella were sturdy and useful. We also were supplied with a wireless speaker on which to listen to our playlists, ice and coolers, tarot cards and coffee table books. My daughter loved the laidback boho vibe created just for her. Brian was very relaxed about the exact time he needed to collect the set up, giving us extra time to bask in the sunshine. We loved it so much, I purchased a gift card for a bigger set up at a beach in San Diego (BB services SD and LA as well) when the restrictions are lifted in that area. Extra kudos to Bliss Beach for employing gloves and maskduring the set up and take down and reassuring us all the gorgeous furnishings and supplies had been sanitized just prior to our use! Our day at the beach was amazing. We didn't have to do anything besides show up in our bathing suits! It was as if someone brought a perfectly curated living room with food and drinks and cushions and shade right to the edge of the water. What is better than that?
