We recently had our wedding on the Dandeana and it was the wedding of our dreams!! The decor was set up perfectly, all the staff were so attentive and honestly gave the best service not only to us but to all the guests. We were a little nervous about the appetizers and food since we didn't do a tasting but they tasted AMAZING. Our guest could not get over how good everything tasted!!! Everything was coordinated and flowed so well. The rooftop was so fun and everyone loved being up there! With 8 tables there was plenty of space to dance in the middle. I'd choose this venue 100x over!

All aboard! Attended a wedding over the weekend for some of my favorite people in the world (Mike & Derrick Jackson-Polek) and was truly in love with the layout of our sailing yacht from start to finish aboard FantaSea Yacht's Dandeana. Boarding was easy, just watch you steps on the dock and entering and exiting the boat, with floor markers and signs in all the appropriate places. The wedding party was less than 100, close to 60 give or take with a four-hour event that included full bar service, passed Hors d'oeuvres, buffet with menu presentation including dietary restriction friendly offerings. The Dandeana has three decks counting the captain's lounge with bridal suite and two gender neutral restrooms. The party deck is where you'll find the bar, reception and event area all in one and the Sky Deck all the way on top is where you can really enjoy the sea and the sky as well as all the views along the SoCAL Los Angeles coast. Truly a beauty at night, but also very worthy of daytime. Seeing the sunset and the horizon from the sky was truly magically. We had a DJ with a great mixed put together by the happy couple from top 40s to disco to 80s and 90s nostalgia and tons of sing-along tunes as well. I was really impressed by how fast as well as smooth the wedding was set up and changed over to reception for dinner and the incredible staff though enjoying the buffet on the main deck and braving the stairs with two plates of food was a skill I didn't know I had. They had a solid selection of spirits for most well drinks at the bar, standard beer options and mediocre wine that was okay for the occasion, but you can BYOB/W/S for a small fee, which I recommend highly! The time really flies when you're celebrating and having fun. The string lights on the Sky Deck as well as the Party level were perfect. Truly appreciate Captain Joel, our chef, bartender, the crew, dj and host and any and all involved with making the day/night even more magical than possible for Derrick and Mike and all their friends, family and loved ones.

I came here for a wedding reception. The boat left the port at 5:30p and came back on 9:30p. It doesn't go too far from the pier. Everyone on the boat had a great time and it sure was a memorable day of this year. Thanks to all the staff on the boat!! 1. Ambience "FantaSea One" is a ferry boat with 4 levels. The first level was for the food and a bar, the second floor was filled with +20 dining tables (with 10 seats each). The third floor was a stage level with a bar you can dance a night away! The 4th floor is outdoor with multiple high tables. 2. Service Every staff were nice and friendly. 3.Location It is in the Marina Del Rey. 4. Hygiene Table, plates, utensils, cups and glasses and the floor, ... everything was clean. 5. Restroom It is a bit outdated, but clean and properly maintained. 7. Parking (paid) There is a plenty of parking and found a spot right away. 8. ETC - They accept credit card - Not dog-friendly - Watch your step when boarding. ** If this review was helpful, please vote :) @juxycat **

Doesn't look like much from the back but once you get inside, it's nice, the interior is fly, and the roof with the outside overlooking the water is very nice. I was surprised. There's a main bedroom, a kitchen, a huge living room, a upstairs, with another bar area, and another huge living room, with a roof top, and some areas where you can stand outside but in the front of the yacht. These are yachts. Huge yachts. There's some smaller yachts around here I see but this huge one is like a big house on water. I believe I'm on this yacht with 100 people or more. You can def have a party on here, or at least an event. I'm on a work experience. I give this company a 5 star. Even the customer service, staff is very nice. We got on at 9am and we are now going out to sea at 11:50am. We will be done around 4:30-5pm. Can't wait to see and feel the water.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Dandeana yacht and our experience was great! I must say Jasmine is by far the easiest and pleasant people I ever worked with. She is very responsive and accommodating. The staff was great as well. Our guests had an amazing time and we could have not chosen a better venue for our wedding.

I have nothing but incredible things to say about Fantasea Yachts and Jasmine's services. We just had our wedding on board and had the most magical experience. Everything from the atmosphere, to the kind staff, to Joel (the captain) who also married us, to the food, and finally to Jasmines incredible coordination services. What a joy and could not have asked for anything more. She was so on top of everything to make our night the most memorable and unforgettable experience ever. If I had one negative - I would say that having tray passed drinks would be better to improve long wait times at the bar (especially for a party size of ours at 182). Otherwise, I can't think of anything else! Thank you Jasmine and Fantasea!

We had our wedding on the 4th of July on the Dandeana yacht. Our coordinator Jasmine was absolutely wonderful, to work with and the staff were awesome! They just had everything down and running smooth. This is fantastic venue for a wedding, office event or just a party.

Best Halloween Party ever! This review is long overdue. The company I work for loves Halloween and I was put in charge of planning the Halloween party. I have always wanted to have a party on a yacht and I came across FantaSea and I'm so glad I did. Everything was so easy. They are amazing! Erin gave me so many helpful ideas of how to decorate the yacht, and they decorated the yacht for me. I dropped off decorations and they took care of it. They even said I could have decorations sent to them directly. The Captain and all the crew were amazing. When I showed up before the event, they all knew my name and who I was and made me feel so special. My coworkers loved the party on the Dandeana yacht. We had a lunch buffet and the food was delicious. Dessert was cookies and milk shots. We had a coffee bar too. We had 3 levels in the Dandeana so it was nice to have multiple options of where people could go. It was such a beautiful day out on the water. It was definitely a day to remember and I hope to book another party with FantaSea.

We had our wedding here on 9/12/21 and we are so glad we chose this venue. Everything was perfect thanks to Jasmine. She never seemed annoyed when I asked all my questions leading up to the big day and made sure I was ok the whole day of. We were also really happy that they let us extend our wedding until 11pm, most venues make you end at 10pm. The food was also great! The vendors I recommend for this venue are: DJ- Raul (323) 514-5366 Florist- Robinson (blooming flowers) (213) 822-9143

My aunt and uncle had their 50th wedding anniversary celebration on one of these yachts. it was a three level boat Entered on the bottom deck which was set up with couches and appetizers...took the stairs up to the next level which had a full hosted bar... then up to the 3rd deck where it was set up for seated dining. loved the layout! loved the trip around the bay... great place to host an event!

I met Jasmine from Fantasea Yachts in January 2019 to prepare for my 50th birthday party in April of 2020. All the preparations was made for the party and you all know what happens next, Covid hits us and we don't know what's going to happen, the government going to let us have it, is Covid going to be gone before April, no one knew. I had friends and relatives from out of town planning to come down for the party, probably in February we made the decision to postpone it to the following year. We all wait and wait, restrictions aren't lifted yet. We can do small gatherings but not what I had planned, 250 people on the FantaSea One! Again we postponed the party till the following year, 2022! You know what, Covid was a blessing in disguise! Those two extra years allowed me to work and get more things for the party, we had casino night, live band, photo booth, DJ, balloon maker for the kids, great party favors and raffle prizes, an open bar till the end of the 6 hour party and a taco guy waiting on the docks for us when we disembarked to help sober up my guests at Dock 52! Throughout this whole process, Jasmine was there for me assuring me this was going to be "The party of the century!" My guests complimented me on the party thrown, saying the food was amazing and all the staff was great. Behind a great work force is a good leader and the general manager Jasmine is one great leader! I'll be happy to answer any questions regarding the service given by this company!! And you won't hear anything negative at all!! Oh and it was 70s themed since I was born in 1970!

We booked an evening four hour cruise for my fiancés 60th birthday. The staff was beyond amazing. They helped with decorating the room when I was running out of time. We had passed hors d'oeuvres, a buffet dinner and a dessert table to augment the birthday cake. We had 35 guests and everyone enjoyed the slow cruise around the marina. Erin, Jasmine and Franzini made our evening everything it could be and more. The coordination was so nice and took the stress off of me as hostess. The food was very good. They offer a vast array to select and I had some vegans and vegetarians to have meals for. They were so accommodating. I highly recommend checking Fantasea Yachts for any celebration.

If you want to be transported back in time, specifically either the 70s or 80s on a Friday night, you'll definitely want to come in and dine. The crowd is a nice mix of resonance or friends and or associates of the residents who live there. And while it's certainly not an assisted living home, the average age of the crowd when we attended was certainly on the north side of 60, and for over half of them pushing 70 easily. The ambiance, physical structure, layout & features (both overt and subtle) of the Dockside restaurant mirrored that (era/time/age of the location in every way-and in this particular case I would argue that's a good thing. Whatever. This weird clubhouse-like structure will be familiar to anyone who grew up in the '70s or '80s in California. It seems that every place near a beach or a pool had some wooden building with dark windows, a loft, and a conversation pit. LMU's Bird's Nest, or Bird Nest, is no different. I attended many a campus event here, and all of them were disappointing. OK, that's not exactly true. Many of them were wonderful, but Bird's Nest never really lived up to its '70s hype. The loft was always kind of sad, and the conversation pit, while definitely not sad, just never did the best job of maintaining conversations. I will say, however, that it was cool that during pre-orientation my freshman year they had Dazed and Confused on loop here during a mixer. I didn't really watch the movie, and I actually really didn't enjoy this mixer, but this movie and the feelings I had were very appropriate. The Bird's Nest was much cooler when it had a swimming pool next to it. They took that out either in the late '90s or right around 2000. When I was at LMU, it was a tradition that you were thrown into a body of water on your birthday. Most people got thrown into the Foley Pond, which is scary because it's really really really shallow so if you struggled at all you were likely to get hurt. If you had a nice friends, they would throw you into the Bird's Nest's pool. I was one of the throwers once, and the lead thrower counted 2 twice, so I let go of the girl's arms while he held onto her legs. She wasn't injured, but I felt really bad.
