My pedicure was done by Sydney and that, too, was perfect! I wish I could leave 0 stars. Beautiful nail salon, but nobody home. I went in for a nail repair and ultimately got a GelX fill in & a pedicure. The experience was great. However, I couldn't understand why my finger became increasingly more painful over the next week. Ultimately, I found out I had a raging infection filled with puss under my GelX overlay. After seeking MEDICAL care, I was prescribed Cephalexin (strongest antibiotic) for 10 days. This was pure negligence on the part of the technician. I highly recommend finding a nail salon that practices better hygiene as this could've ended terribly. read more

Horrible and over charge you for any and all services! I will never shop there again. Tech didnt buff my nails or dust if debris. Didn't add shellac polish to my pedicure, said I needed to replace my full set because they were lifting when I got full set from them 3 weeks ago. Then charged me 5.00 extra to share my nails, charged me 5.00 for short length and 10.00 to remove my nails on top of 50.00 for a new set be cause their work was shoddy. Not clean. They used an old cuticle clipper on me. It did not come from a sterilized bag. It came from his pocket with a monkey clip on top... When I confronted them about it, they were angry and rude and immediately hid the cuticle clipper. read more

She left and came back with some light pink polish. lol I was somewhat relieved I didn't really feel like looking at a bunch of stuff anyway. I just wanted to get in and out. Update: my manicure did not last and grew out very lumpy. My polish pooled at my nail bed so as it grew it snagged on everything. Tonight it started to peel and crack. Unhappy with the shellac I'll go back to my normal place. I couldn't figure out the flow of the place. The desk is in the middle and there is a swirl of activity around. There was one employee who left in the midst of them being totally overwhelmed because she apparently was tired. It was a bit more expensive than my other place and I didn't think it was any better or worse. But they could get me in and the other place couldn't. read more

Completely rude receptionist. I made an appointment for 3 pm . I called minutes later, CHANGING my time to 12:30 which she confirmed. When I arrived , I was told my appointment was still at 3. Not even the least bit accommodating to fit me in with another technician or apologetic about the circumstances. I was upset and tossed the bottle back on the shelf and was ready to leave. She "said can you not throw the bottle." I've been a long time customer and was not treated well at all. I realize customers can be difficult but this was her error, not mine. She tried to blame me for it and copped an attitude with no apology. This employee should be reprimanded for treating her customers so poorly. I typically stray from bad reviews, but in this case I feel as if Im entitled-particularly of recent posts citing bad, attitudinal experiences. Please feel free to post the video of me in the store. I merely asked her for her name. When I snapped the photo of her , this It this extremely mean woman chased me out the door. I feared for my safety and filed a police report against the spa. Her immediate review shows what a liar she is. She didn't offer me anything and canceled my appointment immediately. Went for a pedicure yesterday. It's beautiful inside and clean which made me happy. During the procedure I was cut. At first I didn't notice the extent because the water masked the blood. He put something cold on my toe that held off any bleeding, so I couldn't tell it was bad. They finished the polishing and paid but by the time I got home it was bleeding again and it still is. The fact that he knew it and no one offered any type of compensation was horrible. today my toe is swollen and painful. read more

They did a great job fixing my toenails, that had gotten overly filed(with a drill) at a previous salon. My nails were extremely fragile and jagged. They did the best anyone could've did, considering the fact. The price was a little high though, two pedicures @$74! Though I did have shellac on, that had to be removed. Did a nail dip today . First time hetePlace was nice and clean. Not too much of a wait . I get nail dips every two weeks . I usually pay 35-40 . Will rip you off if they get the chance. I was charged $50 for a fill and they rush you through so fast and the reception area is chaos that I didnt realize until I left. They do a good job but they are overpriced. Have been there several times but this time I was charged $5 for removing the gel polish remaining on 4 of my toes which had been applied there previously. This is the first time I have been charged for removing polish. I usually tip well but this time I only tipped $3 and deducted from the tip the $5 I was charged for a service that should have been provided for free. I work in the area and needed a new salon and I'm so happy to have popped into this one. The take off procedure they do for shellac is very relaxing unlike most places I've been to. They slid your hands in these cloth warmers and don't over do it with the acetone all over your finger tips hoping it will make the polish come off quicker. The woman that did my nails was very pleasant and worked quickly. She did not rush and was happy to do my nails. It was great quality service, a relaxing experience and I'm happy with the finished product. I will be back to this salon. read more

I realize that I was a lower end customer, asking for your basic, old-fashioned manicure, but let me tell you that it was terrible. Polish lasted no more than 12 hours, and he did a terrible job on the cuticles. And whatever you do, RUN from that evil dremmel tool! Tell them you don't want it!! It's a shortcut for them that leaves a deep groove in your nail that will take months to grow out. read more

As I stated in my first review, this is what my leg looked like upon completion of my pedicure. My leg did not look like this when I came in!! I felt immediate pain when Tina applied something to my leg. It immediately turned red. Neither Tina or the owner showed any concern or was willing to accept accountability. I did ask for help to put on my my pedicure sandals but the owner was unwilling to assist me and told me my service was done. The owner recently wrote that I was capable of doing it myself. That was simply untrue. I needed assistance and I was in a great deal of discomfort. Her lack of concern was clear and she never asked if I needed assistance she merely said "your service is over". It is true I have disputed the bill. I did so because the service was unacceptable and I was caused pain. In addition the owner was rude and uncaring. read more

I was here on my birthday, July 14th and was treated very poorly for no reason that I can explain. I almost cut my finger off with a tree trimmer about four weeks prior to coming in. That finger was bandaged but because it was my birthday I got a gel manicure on the other 9 fingers. I was trying to explain to the nail tech what happened and why I was only getting 9 nails done but she was irritated and said that she would just give me my money back, basically like she didn't want to service me. She seemed deterred that she had to do my nails but I wasn't sure why. I asked her if I did anything to offend her and if I had then I apologize. She never said that I did but proceeded with giving me the equivalent of a beauty school manicure. I usually go to the Bliss nails in Bloomfield on Telegraph because they always do an exceptional job and supposedly they have the same owner but I don't know how the quality would be so different. So I said to her, after she kept saying that she would just refund me the money that I paid, please just finish my nails and I will not be back and she said that's your option. I agreed because I do choose who to support and considering that I paid $58 for an awful job just to be treated bad is a good enough reason to not return. I don't expect an establishment who doesn't care about the comfort of their clients or who basically tells them that their patronage is not needed to last long, but I was definitely going to make sure that I left a review telling my experience to make sure that others know the type of people who work here and what they think about their clients. read more

SERIOUS REVIEW FROM A PAYING CLIENT. I AM NOT REVIEWING THE WRONG PLACE. Clearly the staff is so unaware of their services. The lady below says she looks at the books yesterday... yes pls KEEP arguing WITH THE CUSTOMER. I have screenshoted the pic of me calling before just showing up SATURDAYYYYY. But the owner is too stubborn to ask what day it is. The polish is not just not dried... the acrylics are facing down. SINCE WHEN ARE CRUVED DOWN NAILS A TREND?! DO NOT WASTE UR $ HERE. I walked in the salon two hours before closing to get a full set... the tech barely even called me to her station, she just looked at me. Before I even sat on her chair I asked how much a full set was and she said $35. She rushed the entire procedure. She drilled my natural nails until they started burning, I would flinch my hand from the pain and she wouldn't stop. She glued the wrong tip size on my fingernails and she also glued one of them half ass, and when i asked her to pls check it, she argued w/ me said it was right. Well it wasn't bc I could feel the nail glue on my actual skin. I told no, bc it was bothering me and then she finally played it off and took off the extension. SHE DID NOT ASK ME WHAT LENGTH I WANTED, she was going to cut it the shortest length and I had to stop her and tell her to not make them that short. I asked for a "skinny square" trendy rn. She gave me a fat square w/ all different widths and lengths. She cut my tips all uneven and got mad if I asked to fix the ones she messed up because she was rushing. She was pulling my hands as she was doing them... which it made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Don't get me started on the acrylics... it was a bumpy mess, i was super annoyed and aggravated that they would even have staff like this. I asked for regular polish, it was sheer color so she added big blobs blobs of polish to get the color to show in two coats so my nails never fully dried so all of them were messed up by the time I walked out the door. Then SHE HAD THE AUDACITY TO UPCHARGE $40 ME FOR THE LENGHT.. mind you I only asked for a little more length not anything crazy. I barely even wanted to pay the $35. She made a huge deal and started yelling with the staff, had another lady charge me the fee and I walked up to the owner and asked for change bc all I was giving them was $35 for the SHITSHOW. The owner was being nice n "let this time slide" but really I should of just walked out. This place is a fucking joke. If I can post some pics, I definitely will because it is messed up how horrible they treat clients and how bad the staff are. I went to nail school in '12 and I'm in cos school now, so I know a lot about the industry and how to perform services. I DO NAILS and I was trying to get them done because I had an event to go so I wanted to save. But boy oh boy, not only did I waste my time but also money.
