I have never actually written a yelp review before but this was so disappointing I feel the need to. This was hands down the worst manicure I've gotten. All of my nails are uneven in length, jaggedy, and worst of all, have been sanded down to spickets, i have never had nails so thin. They are a quarter of the density they were when I went in and are absolutely going to break within 24 hours even with this gel manicure. This is truly what I'm most upset about - it's one thing to give me a bad manicure, but to destroy my natural nails is just awful. The gel polish is also completely unevenly distributed, each nail looks like a different shade. It wasn't even like it was something I could say to my nail tech like "longer please" or "another coat" because the skill level and quality of service were just truly so bad to begin with. And if i wasn't already so unhappy, the price for a gel manicure was higher than everywhere else on the block. If you are reading this, go to Pure Nails across the street instead. I really am sorry to disparage a local business but all I can say is that since my nails are now so thin, I imagine I'll need to return somewhere to get my nails done again in the near future and it will most certainly not be here. read more

I started frequenting Bliss Nails because of their convenient location near my house. I must say the location is not what keeps me coming back. Every time I visit, they provide excellent service and are so friendly and welcoming. They always try to squeeze me in when they are busy, and I don't have an appointment. When they reopened after COVID, their facilities far exceeded any standards for cleanliness and social distancing. They installed plexiglass screens to protect their clients as well as their employees. The most impressed I have been so far was on my most recent visit. I took my 9 year old stepdaughter and my 3 year old daughter. It was my stepdaughter's birthday and they did her nails exactly like the picture she showed them. My 3 year old is very fidgety and they were so so patient with her! More patient than I would have been. They stayed past their closing time to finish all 3 of us and played with my daughter to keep her occupied. They even let her sit at the nail station and pretend like she was one of the techs! I love this place!! The only downside at this place is that you cannot leave a tip on your credit or debit card, cash tips only. They do have an ATM machine on site but there is a small fee. read more

I meandered in here after trying to go to 3 other nail places and them all being closed since it was just a few days after the new year. I got a wonderful girl and my gel manicure lasted for 3 weeks- unscathed. A few months later, I wanted another gel manicure, so I returned here. Well, I got a different girl this time. I left happy with my nails, but 2 days later, the lifting started. 9/10 of my nails were lifting within the week. I was so disappointed since I paid $35. I don't think I'd return here again unless I was guaranteed the girl who did my nails the first time. I have no idea of her name. read more

This place was recommended by a friend. The first time I went it was good. My nails were nicely done and the neck message was really nice. However, the second time they got me. They charged me $23 to fix a broken nail and polish change. I knew when the person doing my nails (I don't know her name) started filing my nails she was going to try to up-charge me. I repeatedly told her I just had my nails done and just needed the polish changed. Also, She didn't know how to file when she was fixing the broken one so the other employee had to step in and do it. I would not recommend or go back to this place because they overpriced and kept giving me aservice I wasn't asking for. Most places charge about $13 dollars for polish change and $5 to fix a nail. My grand daughter and I got pedicures here, other than them doing a nice job painting, the pedicures were a waste of money. The massage was lackluster, other than them applying lotion, there was no massage. A separate technician did my grand daughte's nails, they looked very nice. I went here with my friends for prom nails for the first time. Pretty quick service but my friend did not get the design/style she wanted. Also my nail lady spilled some alcohol on my hand before put underneath the gel UV light burning my skin. I overlooked this at first until I noticed how thick my acrylics were. A few weeks later I went to go soak them off and my noticed my pink nail underneath was completely stuck to the adhesive due to the heavy amounts of glue and powder used. I had a horribly painful time getting the nail off and ended up damaging my entire pinky nail and ripping it almost completely off. If I could rate this place 0 stars, I would. I was extremely unsatisfied with my service and disgusted at the quality of the work. I do gel, acrylic, and dip services myself, so I know a lot about the sanitation, the overall process, and how to make sure everything looks the best that it can. Proof of this is in my profile picture, as I did those myself. This salon for sure didn't meet my expectations. I made an appointment for a gel pedicure. When I got there, the staff was decently friendly and I picked out a color. The nail tech didn't ask what kind of polish I had on before and then proceeded to file it away with the drill. I prefer to have my gel soaked off since it's better for the nail so I was unhappy about that. When the actual pedicure began, I felt it was extremely half-assed. The nail tech didn't do any prep work to my nails (like cutting the cuticles or even just pushing them back at the least). She didn't even scrub the bottoms of my feet. While the polish job is fairly decent, my toes look like what they normally do 4 weeks later since there was no prep work and she applied the polish way down my nail. If that wasn't bad enough, I was pretty much forced into getting a dip manicure. The manicure was also half-assed as they began when I was still in the pedicure chair. Once again, no prep work like trimming my cuticles or even filing the surface of the nail (LITERALLY THE MOST ELEMENTARY CONCEPT IN DOING NAILS) wasn't done. After the dip is applied, you should file the nail to create a desirable shape, but of course this wasn't done at all so I'm left with a very uneven nail surface and all my nails have different shapes at the bottom. The pictures are my nails about 36 hours since the service. All together, it costed me $95 which I'm still upset that I had to spend. If I didn't have manners, I really would have just walked out without paying. read more

Never happy after coming here. I have been here many times with many different nail techs. The color either comes out nothing like the sample or the nails are poorly done. I spoke with a nail tech and told her exactly what I want. Right before she began to dip she told me what I wanted "wouldn't look right" and she would not do them the way I wanted. I asked if she could still do my design, which she said yes. I then reminded her close to the end about the design and she told me "it was too late" and that she would not do it. Came here last minute when another nail salon dropped me and my 2 friends appointment. Although it was a Saturday afternoon, we called half an hour in advance and they were able to give all 3 of us manicures quickly. Bliss has many colors to choose from and manicures were only $15 ( French tips were $20)! This was my first time having a male manicurist and all of them were very friendly. The procedure doesn't seem to be standardized as two of us got short hand massages at the nail station while one of us got a short back massage at the drying station. The French tips were not the best I've seen but they fixed my cuticles very well and the experience was overall good. Great place for a casual manicure. read more

Let me just start by saying, I will NEVER go to Anyone except Hana! She is the Best at what she does. Hana does an Excellent job and Is polite and caring as well. She takes the time to get to know you as well. I have been going to her for the last two years faithfully and also started taking my Nana to her. My nana has Parkinson's and Dementia and requires quicker service as she can not keep still long enough for anything. Hana does her nails so beautifully and has the patience to deal with all of Nanas issues And to top it all....she is fast! Nana isn't doing well this week and we had to cancel her appointment with Hana (nanas time is very near ). As a friend I spoke with her and asked if she did any nails on the side as nana had been asking about getting her nails done due to her thumb being loose. When Hana heard how my nana was, she took time from her own scheduled time off and came to my home to make sure that my beautiful nana had the nails that she wanted to join her beloved in heaven when the time comes. All from the love deep in her heart and because she cares. I recommend ALL of my friends and family to this nail salon as all of the women are superb but especially to Hana. I will forever go to her. After reading reviews for multiple nail salons in the area, I decided to try Bliss Nails and I'm glad I did. I walked in and was taken almost immediately. They had a ton of gel polish colors and had special colors such as mood changing and cat eye. I didn't catch my name of my manicurist, but she was nice and made sure to ask multiple times throughout the manicure if I liked how it was turning out. The prices were also reasonable and average for the area. The shoulder massage was a unexpected bonus! read more

Edited: after giving more stars, once I got home and was able to actually take a look at my pedicure...It was just eh. I had to actually clean up nail polish that was all over every toe. Kind of looks like a child painted them. The cut and file of the actual nail is pretty rough to, very crooked and now rounded when I went in with more of a square nail. The only reason I gave 2 stars and not 1 is because of the hot stones that were used for literally 10 seconds. They have a great selection of gel polishes, and all of the staff were incredibly friendly. My manicurist was a sweet girl who was very talented at her job. I was out of there in less than 15 minutes. Oh, and the gel manicure lasted for a good three weeks before it chipped. I consider that well worth the money for $20. I haven't tried their pedicure or acrylics, which are my usual go-to, when it comes to nail salons, but I'm excited to. This is probably my favorite nail salon in the Lehigh Valley. read more

This nail salon is AWFUL! I've gone here a few times when I was in a pinch and every time I've ever been they have disappointed me. It seems like each time I go in I get a different person, so this last time I was hoping the tech I ended up with would know what they're doing as I was in a bind and had a random event pop up. The lady started by offering me crystal gel after I requested a full set of acrylic nails, cut in natural short shape, with nude gel color. I politely declined, as I've had it before and wasn't crazy about it. She argued with me the first 5 minutes she spent doing my nails about why I should go with crystal gel rather than acrylic. I was nice but firm in my decision. After that conversation, she began doing my nails very quickly and I'm not even kidding when I say that by the time she got finished with my nails, none of them were the same shape or length and they looked like I was due for a fill-in already since the acrylic didn't even come close to my cuticle area. When I pointed out several of the issues, she told me they looked fine and got a man to come over. They spoke in a different language for a few minutes before the man finally agreed they looked "fine to him too". Never going back. Not even on the most DESPERATE day. read more
