So I cannot, in good conscience, continue to support this business with my patronage. This salon follows the awful practice of quick service at the expense of nail health. My nails are naturally VERY thin and flexible. Every time I have had a service here, I have always asked for my nails to be hand filed rather than drill filed due to how thin they are. Every time, my request has been ignored. Additionally, when I need my gel/dip nails removed, rather than a gentle soak off with acetone and polish remover, they will try to JAM ANOTHER NAIL TIP UNDERNEATH my nails to remove them and it is so painful!! And when I wince; the techs always act annoyed or surprised. My nails always end up red, rough, and/or torn. I thought these behaviors were normal and I lived dreading these parts of what are supposed to be relaxing services. Thought I was going crazy until I spoke and received a phenomenal service from a professional technician who works at a different salon, and she told me that these poor practices are due to laziness and because a salon wants to get as many people in and out as they can. I 100% am convinced this is the case. Please be aware that this is not ok, and find another salon to go to if you receive similar treatment! Now I know better and will not be back. read more

Can't say I will go back. I got a mani and pedi. The service was fine- nothing special and very fast. She took off my old gel polish and did a great job with that. I got a regular manicure- she didn't ask how I wanted my nails filed (I do rounded and she did straight), didn't cut them to all be the same length, and the polish was old. I felt that all of the ones I looked at were old (starting to separate) and picked one I thought would be ok. My nails were done yesterday and 4 are chipped today- it looks like the polish just disappeared from the tips. The pedicure was fine and that (different) color is holding up. They don't take tips on cards so I had to Zelle her the tip. I hope they take a look at their polish and replenish soon. read more

I used to love this place. Until the man I always used to have left. I went & got a full set put on with gel polish & I am convinced my dog could do a better job. Mind you these pictures are 2 weeks after, 2 of them broke within 3 days, she didn't even paint the edges of a few of my nails, you can see in one of the photos with the flash she didn't do a good job. They started chipping away, they are crooked, she missed the sides of my nails with acrylic & paint, I repeatedly told her to fix it, kept show her where she was missing, asking her to do things different & she kept telling me "don't worry don't worry I fix for you" & never fixed it. She put barley any acrylic near my cuticles, so thin you couldn't even see it, then globbed on huge mountains down near the tip. Safe to say I went elsewhere & will continue to. Horrible horrible horrible. Not to mention 6 of the mails started lifting heavily after the first week!! read more

I've been to the place multiple times since it's so close to work. Everyone who works here is super nice. I always get the gel manicure. Color selection is extensive. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the manicure has lasted me anywhere from 1-3 weeks depending on who does it. Otherwise I definitely recommend this place to everyone! read more

Zero stars if I could. Very unprofessional manager and acrylic French manicure. I've never gotten a manicure where your hands weren't soaked and cleaned of any dirt under the fingernail. When the French manicure was done you could still see the dirt line under the nail paint. The manager was very defensive , got loud and started to defend why her staff didn't clean the nails before the manicure was started. She said if she would've tried to clean the nails they would bleed, and the nails weren't that short so that wasn't the case. After a verbal debate, the manager decided to go back to the table and fix it. She was very aggressive painting our daughters nails and even the hand massage was inappropriate, very rough. The manager was obviously upset about the interaction, and did not handle it appropriately or professionally. How unacceptable to mistreat a 13 year old, this Diva Nails is the worst. Have tried this nail salon twice. The first time was adequate. The second time was not good. I had an appointment, was told to sign in when I got there. Did so and was told to sit in a nail seat. I had appt for fel manicure and pedicure. They started to do the manicure first, which is annoying, because it prolongs the appt and the drying time for my pedicure. (If they did toes first, they could dry when I was getting my gel manicure). Okay, it was going to be extra time. Annoying waste of time, but not deal breaker. But, the gentleman who was doing my nails was also the person who was answering phone and scheduling appts. So he stopped 4-5 times to answer the phone. On top of the extended time for my pedicure to dry, I didn't have the time and wasn't paying for all the time he was taking on the phone. So, I left without getting any service done. Also, he put my hands into a bowl that felt gritty and not well cleaned; the water was tepid and there was no soap in it. Most places have warm soapy water. Twice was enough for me. Meh describes what I feel completely. I've gotten two mani/pedis here. Prices for this is equal to what I pay in California for gel mani/pedi and they only offer gel manis. First mani only lasted 1 day until it cracked and chipped in the middle of the nail. The polish must have been old. Pedi ended up killing me because my nails were cut poorly. I think the people here are nice, but it seems like a rushed job when getting services. A bit on the sloppy side. I've had to point out issues with paint jobs on both occasions. Once it was due to poor application and the other because I was moved from my chair quickly to accommodate a crowd and ruined my toe job because of misplaced fans on the floor. I am just visiting and there don't seem like a whole lot of options in the area. This is probably one of those places I rate 2 stars but will frequent again. read more

I got a fill and pedicure and the staff all have such great team work and work together so well. My pedicure was so relaxing and the massage was great. My nails are AWESOME. Danny filled and shaped them for me and they're exactly what I wanted. Not only did they all do an amazing job, the price was better than expected. I've experienced better" which exactly describes my experience I was in the area and needed a mani/pedi for a wedding I was attending and I got that so from that perspective the trip was a success. The nail color selection was all over the place and not great. I had to ask for the color I wanted (thankfully I know the name), but when my manicurist brought it back it was definitely not the color...it looked faded or thinned out so she had to find another one. When I got my pedi, I was switched over to someone else. Throughout my entire pedicure she was yelling around the salon to other employees and chatting with people. The content made me think it was funny, but it was also very unprofessional. The salon is very small and I felt like I was constantly in a maze weaving throughout the salon. If you are looking for a mani/pedi without any of the atmosphere that you can get at a nicer nail salon this will do. It is on par or a little more expensive than I am used to paying which intrigued me as it was no where near the same service or professionalism I am used to. I would come back if I am in a crunch, but hopefully I'll plan ahead appropriately so I don't have to. read more

My first visit to Diva before my OBX vacation was a great experience. I made my appointment with Maggie who was recommended by my daughter-in-law, Rachael; she was very professional and efficient. She took her time on both the mani & pedi. After she finished my pedi, I told her that she gave me 'new feet'! My manicure turned out to be perfect (see my blue nails for the beach trip). The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. No loud music or loud chattering. I'm so happy with the whole experience and will be returning to Diva as soon as my hands and feet are ready. read more

A good manicurist is hard to come by these days, one that takes the time to make sure the polish doesn't slightly touch your skin and cuticles. That tiny bit of time can make a gel manicure last 3 weeks instead of 1.5-2, and a regular manicure last for last more than a 1 day span. I found Tom, and he's a man of few words, but he's really good at his skill. I had a gel mani done my him last month and it literally lasted me 3+ weeks. I walk away feeling happy my finger nails are meticulously painted, shortened and shaped perfectly....money well spent. I got my pedicure 4 days ago and it's already chipping off my nails. I think the polish is old or they didn't apply it well enough. My finger "tip"? Buy new polishes! Most of the nail technicians are cool and polite. The atmosphere is positive, but not relaxing because it is a very busy salon. The biggest drawback is that they don't replenish their polishes when they are drying out or thickening in the bottle; they just keep adding thinner. I have been going here for a year now and am quite a fan. I have done both appointment and walk in service. The cost is on par with other nail salons that I've been to, although I only ever get natural manicures and pedicures. I'm not familiar with pricing on tips and things like that. The employees are always pleasant and chatty. One reviewer mentioned that they were joking around with each other and that bothered them. I'm more of the mind that if they like each other and are happy then they'll make my experience better, too. I took my mom here last summer for manicures and they were super lovely to her. My daughter went here to get gel nails done yesterday. We both told the girl as well as showed her what she wanted. Well she didn't get close to what she ask for. The nails are so thick & curve outward, they were squared off when she told them rounded, longer then she ask for and look so fake. We went back cause my daughter was so upset, they filed them a bit and they still look awful. We are going back today to have them remove them which really sucks cause they cut her nails down. $50 for them & they look worse then press on nails. I feel they should remove the nails & give her a full refund. She works hard for her money & this service was not worth $5. I personally would not recommend this salon. This place is convenient, but I feel like the quality of work is hit or miss depending on who you get. Over the summer, they have a bunch of college students working in the salon. I wanted my fingernails shaped as they grew out, no color. I explained I wanted a square shape with rounded corners, like a squoval if you will. I somehow ended up with a right triangle on one finger. On another occasion, I got a pedicure. While I was happy that she pushed me to choose a more daring color (I had originally chosen a color that was pretty much the same as the color currently on my toes), the next day I woke up with a swollen toe that was draining. I am not sure exactly what happened or how that came to be, but I suspect that it was due to my pedicure. I continue to go back to this place because it's the best option I've found in the Lehigh Valley but I am a little disappointed with it after my last visit. I will definitely pay more attention to who is a good manicurist and request them each time I go back. read more

They all are so friendly and talkative and interacted with us the entire time -- which we appreciate. I went here on a whim since it's close to work. I had crystal gel done for the first time a few months ago and called ahead to make sure that they have crystal gel as an option, which they confirmed. I can only go on my prior experience with the salon I normally frequent and say there was no way this was crystal gel. The entire process was different. She tried to convince me to soak my nails off and start over!? I've only had them for 3 months and have had NOOOO issues whatsoever. I just needed a fill.
