Before scheduling a service call, he even suggested a few troubleshooting steps I could try myself at no charge in hopes of resolving the issue and saving me money. When that didn't work, he arranged for a technician to come out the very same day. I was given a two-hour service window, and the technician called about 45 minutes beforehand to let me know he could arrive about 30 minutes early. He was friendly, professional, and understood that I was working under a time constraint. The technician diagnosed the problem within minutes, had the necessary part on his truck, and completed the repair in about 20 minutes--finishing before my scheduled service window even began. He was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and took the time to explain everything clearly. What impressed me most was that neither Bob nor the technician tried to upsell me on anything. I originally left a 5-star review after paying $350 on April 9 to have a garage door spring…read morereplaced. Unfortunately, I have to update this review due to a poor follow-up experience. On April 20, the garage door became stuck because the cable came off the track. I reached out multiple times throughout the day and received no response. At that point, the warranty becomes meaningless if the company cannot be reached. I had another garage door company come out and paid for a second repair, to replace the now damaged cables. They confirmed that while the spring replacement itself was done correctly, the cables were not properly adjusted and the door was left imbalanced, which likely contributed to the failure. It was also why the opener was so much noisier after the spring replacement (I was told it was from excess wear on it from trying to lift the door without the spring). The opener is once again very quiet and the door is raising and lowering very smoothly and quietly. I understand that issues can happen, but lack of responsiveness--especially for something that can pose a safety risk and was most likely related to work just done --is unacceptable. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company nor would I use them again.
