Great bouldering gym. Lots of variety and route turnover. Has a big section you can top out on and there's a slide down for the kids.

Unfortunately since attending as an adult I have been SO FRUSTRATED with the gym. When I initially signed up I made it clear I wanted the family membership specifically for the outdoor pool because we have 3 kids. They got me signed up on a year contract and everything seemed fine. I went to the gym to workout and use the jacuzzi and found out then that there was no more jacuzzi AND the women's locker room one was still not fixed! I was pissed but moved on and didn't say anything. Summer comes and I had asked the front desk when the outdoor pool opens and they kept telling me "sometime in June"....end of June came and I asked again, now being told the outdoor pool is being fixed so it was closed for the summer!! (It's still closed by the way) THE WHOLE REASON I AM PAYING FOR A FAMILY MEMBERSHIP WAS FOR THE POOL!! So I asked if I could just switch to a single membership because my kids can't use ANY of the other amenities ( even though there aren't any). The indoor pool is barely ever available for open swim, so why would I have a family membership if they aren't even family friendly! They told me that wasn't possible. So I have had to continue paying a family fee even though I am the only one able to access anything. THEN, I moved to the Central Park location and it's the same there!! The indoor pool is NEVER available!! I just took my kids in today because the pool hours are Wednesdays 4-7.. CLOSED!!!! I am beyond annoyed with how they keep there gym! All of the "amenities " that they offer online aren't actually available AND they keep raising the prices!! I will NOT be renewing my membership once my year is up. This used to be the best gym in Spokane.

I love tennis, I don't love this gym. I signed a contract for $105. They raised the price during my…read more12 month contract to $155. No heads up, no notice. I canceled my membership. Apparently when new ownership took over they changed the contracts to state they can raise the price any time. In addition to this, they also removed 2 tennis courts. I agreed to pay $105 a month to have access to 4 tennis courts. They reduced the value I was receiving and raised my price. $155 was not in my budget and I expressed this to them. They did not care. After I canceled they charged me again. I wasn't going to write a review but after receiving a collection bill in the mail, I feel I must let people know that this IS NOT A PLACE YOU SHOULD DO BUSINESS WITH. :) Have a good day. Oh also, their sauna is disgusting like they haven't cleaned it in 15 years...lol Pool is closed often.

Visiting from LA for 8 weeks. I messaged Chrome from their website for a month membership, Brooke…read morequickly, nicely and professionally offering me a month membership at a very reasonably price. The first evening I was there, Brooke introduced herself, chatted, made sure if I had any questions to just ask. Every staff member I've interacted with has been accommodating, polite and eagerly willing to assist with any demo of equipment I wasn't familiar with. I'm an average gym guy, in shape 66yr old been worked out my whole life, just wanting to keep in shape. This gym is full of younger men and women, some in incredible shape, yet the vibe of the gym made me feel comfortable and not out of place. In my 35yrs in LA I've been to a lot of gyms, I find Chrome far above in quality, equipment, staff attitude and helpfulness. They are a bit pricey but it's a serious gym and well worth it. It's not a premadona gym, it's for people who want to get out of a gym what they put in! For those of you here that have left negative reviews, I'm sure, like most, there's been some bad experiences like any place, some due to ones own expectations and behavior and attitude. Remember; you need a good attitude to get our of life what you expect and are willing to put in, same goes for a gym. suck it up! : )

I have been going to the lab since November 2013 and it is by far one of the best gym's I have ever…read morebeen a part of. I have been active my whole life playing sports through college and being in the military as well so I have done some great workouts in my life with some amazing trainers and gyms so I don't say what i am about to say lightly. The classes are great for both conditioning and strength. The atmosphere is amazing too. Everyone is encouraging in the classes and pushes each other to reach their max potential while working out. Luke is extremely knowledgeable and knows how to get the most out of you while you are in the gym. His trainers are amazing as well and do a great job adjusting to each individual at the gym's strengths. It is nice for me to know that I will be coached and corrected to proper form and told to go down in weight to make sure I am not hurting myself and getting the movement right. I had never done really anything with kettle bells so this was all new to me so the coaching has been great from all the trainers at The Lab. I look forward to times I go there because I know I will pushed to my max and never forced to do a movement that hurts me because they are great at giving you a variation or something different to do in place of that movement. I highly recommend trying out a class and signing up.

When I cancelled my membership, there were no questions asked and the reason the staff member put…read moredown for cancellation was "Not Using". This is pretty much typical for the gym where the staff is generally generally checked out. I use the gym regularly btw, but I plan to move to the Y. The gym has a lot of outdated and broken equipment and they seem to just get by repairing some things when others break. Treadmill, elliptical, strength training machines. The reason I left was that I got tired of the aquatics being unavailable. The steam room was down for close to 6 months. The pool has been without heat for at least a month now and the spa is hit or miss as to whether it is working. Is it possible that they are cutting costs by turning off certain things that need heat to save money? Just a cynical guess. Even the drinking fountains don't put out cold water, only tepid. (By the way, it would be so nice to have bottle fill stations) There are many cleanliness issues that seem to come and go, showers and pool area come to mind. At least with the pool so cold there is a better ratio of water to hair since people aren't using it as much. I really wanted to share this with management, but I guess the staff forced me to come here to leave my thoughts.
