Alissa was extremely responsive, helpful, and personable. She made all the planning so painless - even fun and easy - and I never worried that I wasn't going to get exactly what I wanted. Lisa was my maître d and she is actually magical. She addressed all my concerns leading up to the day and worked seamlessly with all of my other vendors to make sure I was 100% taken care of. She was like another mother who was also running around like crazy during the wedding. I'm so grateful for her. Everyone in my family was ranting and raving about her, saying she was always right there to make sure they had everything they wanted; if they needed a drink, she was right there with one. Tender, juicy, pork belly cooked with just a kiss of smoke, topped with hoisin sauce and pickled ginger, served atop a crispy tortilla. This is heaven on a plate. If any criticism could be made, I would say the ginger got a little lost. Perhaps substitute some thinly sliced, pickled Jalapeño to add little bit of crunch, vinegar, and heat. Otherwise, a near perfect plate of food. Twelve dollars for two tacos may seem steep at first, but the value will become immediately apparent with every bite. A completely satisfying experience with my only regret is not living closer.

I had the hoisin pork belly tacos, and they were without a doubt some of the best tacos I've ever had in my life, as well as one of the better meals I've had in the last year or so. The tacos were very plump and had more than enough meat to justify the cost, as if the flavor wasn't enough by itself. The owner here clearly knows her way around a kitchen, because the toppings on those tacos were like a symphony, with each flavor complimenting each other. A friend of mine had the fish tacos, and was as in love with his as I was with mine. The fries were super fresh and delicious as well, being freshly cut to order (and it shows!). My only regret is that I didn't get to try the entire menu. I seriously may have an addiction to these tacos now, and will be itching for my next 'fix'. If Sunny Raes is making an apperance near you?
