This Italian deli it's located in the strip mall where many other places I frequent. I never thought a deli, an Italian deli here in this section of Jackson Twp. This place seemed pretty authentic with its meats and pastries. I believe the bread and the pastries are made here, but I forgot to ask. The sandwich I ordered was outstanding, due to the bread not the cold cuts, though the toppings were first rate. I just recently heard that the whole strip mall was bought out but I don't know the details. read more

Thanks to Tim T's review we decided to give Pezzo's a try for lunch yesterday and we loved our Italian Belly sandwich. The wife of course had to load up on provisions including a fabulous looking ribeye steak that I can't wait to toss on our grill. My husband turned me on this this place that I've passed a hundred times & never even noticed. I was meeting a friend at a brewery's anniversary party & of course, we needed food. What better time to stop here. I ordered 2 subs, the Soprano & the Italian Belly sandwich, only because they both sounded so good. Hubs had brought me home the Italian Belly once before & it was delicious! The staff was friendly, service was great & food was excellent! If I could award 6 stars this place, it would be worth it. This is a REAL authentic Italian deli with all the extras one might expect. It it weren't for my friend Joe I wouldn't know about Pezzolanti's. He offered to buy lunch and asked what I wanted to eat. I said a sandwich was good and he opted to come here. Now I've been to this strip mall scores of times either to Cornerstone, Surf Taco, or Jackson Diner and walked passed this place. All you need do is walk in and you'll be hooked. Once in you'll see counters with Italian pastries, cold cuts, pasta salads, house recipes, and other goodies. When you've wiped the drool off your chin you'll see the menu on the wall. Joe and I ordered the Italian Belly; Italian meats, provolone, lettuce, tomato, roasted red pepper (not the horrid green ones) on the freshest, crustiest, beautiful loaf of Italian bread in existence. I know that smacks of hyperbole but this is easily the best sub I've ever eaten. Why? because of the bread. This guy bakes his bread on site every day. Ever eat Subway? Bread baked fresh daily on prem. BFD, it's homemade Wonder bread shaped into a sub. That's why it sucks; that and they give you no meat. Sorry for the digression. No other place has bread this good that I know of, in fact people were coming in just to buy loaves while we were there. I've now found an Italian Deli that is close by. A REAL Italian deli. Pezzolanti's Italian Market is excellent! They make the best sandwiches on their own artisan bread! I'm stuck on the Ham, Provolone and their fresh roasted red peppers...it's so good! Great deli ... excellent bread ... ready to go meals and they offer catering too. When I was last in noticed their sign on Wednesdays & Saturdays, 4 meals for $39.99, now that's a deal (and don't forget to take home a loaf of bread) ... have I expressed how awesome their bread is? They also have bakery and packaged cookies, biscotti, etc. ... their Lemon Glazed italian cakes are to die for ... place in micro for 7 seconds, amazing! Support local specialty stores like this ... Not from the area we looked to yelp for a catering recommendation. I called and ordered a platter of sandwiches and some side salads and cookies. They had all items ready in one hour. Food was excellent and the staff were all so nice. I would highly recommend them. read more

I live close to the place & have been going there since they opened...& must say, the food is not bad. The subs & salads are pretty good. The hot food is not that great. The ladies there are nice & usually friendly...but the gentleman that works there, that I believe to be the owner, it the most unfriendly, unwelcoming, grumpy individual I have ever seen in a food service industry. Especially for an Italian deli, where you usually get a warm greeting & get treated like family. I used to go there a lot, & now rethink it when I have to go there just because I don't care to interact with him. Very disappointing, because there is not a lot of options in the area. read more

Absolutely excellent service! Called day of needing food to serve 20-30 people for a post-wake gathering and the folks here not only were kind and courteous on the phone to begin with and took care of our initial order, but when we called later they were able to accommodate extra food on top of it. The people here were extremely sweet on the phone and again in person on pick up. Highly recommend using them! The food was absolutely delicious! Pezzolanti's catered my 150+ wedding in July 2016 and it was amazing! Almost 1 year later and people are still taking about how amazing the food was. Pat and his team went above and beyond to cook and serve all of my guests.
