I had an updo for the wedding that I loved. I wanted to duplicate the same style for the reception in Des Moines, Iowa this past weekend. I visited with Tiffany Allen from Studio 9, in Des Moines, multiple times. I sent her my picture I wanted to duplicate. She said she could do it. I asked her if she was confident in this updo style, to which her response was "yes". On the day of the reception, we discussed the style with the picture again. Once again, I asked her if she was confident, to which she replied, "yes". Midway through the appointment, I thought to myself that it wasn't looking like the first time. I showed her the picture again and asked for a few adjustments. She still was unable to make the changes. At this point, I knew I was in trouble. I really do not feel like I need to explain any more. I think the pictures will speak for them selves. I will share the picture I modeled my request off of as well as the picture of my first updo for the wedding out of the country, and then my updo I received from Tiffany Allen, Studio 9. I would also like to add, I told her I wasn't happy about her services to give her a chance to apologize. She did not. I asked for a partial refund, and she did not respond. I moved to Des Moines just before covid and have been coming to see him throughout for highlighting and cuts. He's given me a couple different blonde looks and a couple of different cuts. He'll listen and do whatever you ask him to do or give you advice about what might work for you. He's fun to be around and the salon is relaxing, clean and open. Aaron's prices are extremely reasonable making it easy to tip well and if you ever have any concerns with a look he's happy to make corrections. I almost hate to give him a good review because I want to keep him to myself
