For years now I have been a patron of Blondie's. The proprietor Bonnie has always been congenial and welcoming to customers. I truly admire her artistic abilities to display consignment items combining garments and accessories which compliment each other, adding to the genuine intrigue of her unique shop. I depend on Blondie's Boutique to discover garments, footwear, belts, purses, jewelry and more of high quality to satisfy my taste in vogue and artisanal fashion at a very affordable price. Many of the pieces are new with tags attached. In addition, I have put many of my own items of clothing and collectable jewelry on consignment with Bonnie and found her to be fair and knowledgeable of their value. It is always an fun experience of exploration to visit the shop with new things being added regularly. I highly recommend this boutique. read more

It was a beautiful day ! Walking hand and hand with my wife walking in and out of the shops. Laughing and having a great time! THEN...... we were instantly transported back to reality when we walked into Blondies! The sign out front should read "if you are having too much fun in this tranquil little town come in here we will ruin it!!" Snotty, pompous and rude! My wife was treated like crap. We walked out and immediately started wine tasting !! Please avoid Blondies if you want to keep a smile on your face ! Sutter Creek deserves better! read more

THIS PLACE IS A GEM! I had a pleasant time here for the first time on Sunday. The owner was sweet and entertained all my questions. I found this place fascinating considering finding quality consignment in this area is extremely rare. I found this place was full of class, quality, and care for refurbished fashion. Avoid this shop and it's awful owner. I had never consigned anything before bringing this woman fifteen items of beautiful clothing (even she showed pleasant surprise). I came back when she told me to, to collect any profit and whatever pieces hadn't sold. The owner seemed annoyed that I was asking for these things....and she attempted to give me a bag of worn out clothes that weren't mine! I told her they weren't mine, she told me everything must have sold, and gave me eight dollars. I had no proof of ever bringing in all of those beautiful clothes, and she took me for all of it. Lesson learned; but, I will also tell as many people as I can that this woman is extremely opportunistic (to put it nicely). read more

Previous negative reviews are highly mistaken! My experience has always been a positive one every time I've shopped at Blondies boutique! I shop there about once a month and always leave with the greatest finds at fantastic prices! The owner is always pleasant and positive! She has a big variety of gorgeous designer handbags, shoes, high end clothing and pretty jewelry! I love peeking at her sale rack too! I am in here all the time and everyone has always been so sweet. I've bought a lot of lovely pieces from here. This is the first time I've ever met anyone so rude in my life. The larger older woman with blonde hair was insanely rude and aggressive the second we walked in to shop. We are locals and loved this place, but turns out she's the owner. I won't be giving my money to her any longer. I'm not a thief and I was in here all the time spending money. I suggest anyone who doesn't want to be treated as a thief and liar don't go in here. The owner of this boutique is the rudest woman, it's almost comical how she speaks to her consignors. I do not recommend consigning here unless you want to be treated like dirt or a criminal, I can't quite determine where her hostility came from, however I can confirm that she did not treat me in a professional manner and acted like she was doing me a huge favor by consigning my clothing and taking 60%. I have placed 3 orders over the past 2 months and have yet to receive any of it. I have tracked some of my parcels and found out that they sent one of my orders to Ontario. I have called numerous times, only been able to reach someone twice and she told me they would look into it and get back to me. I asked for the manager to call me and I have heard back from no one. This boutique has cute items, but the staff and the manager work on a very low integrity and unmoral values. I had found a coat I liked and before purchasing it I had asked the sales clerk if I can return it for a refund. She had said yes or I could get a store credit. The coat was $259+tax. I liked the coat, but still was not 100% sure, so I wanted to make sure that I could return it for a full refund as it's a lot of $. When I went in a week later to return it, the same sales clerk told me that they don't do refunds only store credit. She went on to say that it's clearly indicated on the receipt. We had discussed about the conversation I had with her the week before about the refund and all she did was shrug her shoulders and said they can't do anything. I asked to speak to the manager, and sad to say she was less helpful and understanding then the clerk. If I wasn't told that I could get the refund I wouldn't have bought the coat. I am disappointed that for such a small boutique they don't try to have more integrity and stand behind what they say. I will never shop there out of principle and also as I don't think the staff nor the management can be trusted. It's sad to see people in small business behave like this. I like supporting small businesses, but when they show no integrity, cheat and lie to their customers, unfortunately I can't support that. read more

If there was an option for negative stars, or none, that's what I would have chosen. I want to compose this review in a professional way, despite how taken I am feeling, currently. If you are considering selling your clothes through this woman, and you have anything of value, I urge you to steer clear. I was so foolish to trust this stranger. Hundreds of dollars could have been made had I chosen to simply sell these beautiful pieces on ebay, or some other outlet. This is entirely my fault: I should have demanded receipts, I should have taken pictures of what I left with her. I did nothing of the sort and after calling and calling, I was begrudgingly given $10. I was speechless. And she was on the defense before anything was said, so, that speaks volumes. If you must do business with this woman, I URGE you to keep extremely good records of what you are leaving with her. Find out what percent she intends to give you. And insist on seeing receipts of the transactions that your pieces were sold in. She must of seen me coming a mile away! read more
